Abstract: A system for detecting water in an environment includes a first sensor configured to provide first feedback indicative of a temperature of the environment, a second sensor configured to provide second feedback indicative of a humidity of the environment, and an electronic circuit having a processor configured to execute one or more instructions stored on a memory of the electronic circuit. The one or more instructions are configured to receive the first feedback from the first sensor, receive the second feedback from the second sensor, generate a risk score by comparing the first feedback and the second feedback to baseline data stored on the memory of the electronic circuit, and provide an indication of a water detection event when the risk score is equal to or exceeds a threshold value.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods capable of establishing a communication session between a customer and an analyst. The contents of the communication session are analyzed to make recommendations of goods and services to the customer. Otherwise, the communication session may be redirected from one channel, for example, chatting to another channel, for example, voice call, to another analyst. The customer's information and the communication session details are retained, and provided to another analyst before the customer is redirected. Such systems, apparatuses, methods, and computer program products use real-time machine learning scoring algorithm to determine which analyst the customers should be transferred to, and thereby saving a lot of time for both the analysts and the customers, and significantly reduce misroutes by eliminating human errors.

Abstract: Disclosed systems and methods allow a user to input digital content along with identification of one or more social media websites on which the user desires to publish the digital content. The systems and methods then query the identified social media webservers and retrieve a first set of publishing rules. When the digital content satisfies the first set of rules, the systems and methods query a database to retrieve a second set of rules comprising user restrictions specific to the identified social media websites. When the digital content does not satisfy at least one rule within the second set of rules, the systems and methods render a prompt on the user device to receive modified digital content. Subsequently, the systems and methods instruct the one or more social media websites to publish the modified digital content.

Abstract: A technique for assessing a landscape condition of a property is provided that determines landscape condition for an individual property or properties of interest using image data from one or more unmanned aerial vehicles. Based on the image data, a control system may generate a landscape condition output, such as an alert for a property owner or control signals for damage mitigation devices.

Abstract: A system may include a processor. The processor may perform operations including receiving multiple light patterns from multiple wireless devices. The operations may also include determining a location for each of the multiple wireless devices based at least in part on the multiple light patterns. Moreover, the operations may include pairing a first wireless device of the multiple wireless devices to the processor based at least in part on the location for each of the multiple wireless devices.

Abstract: Methods and systems for rules-based data access are described. In some embodiments, a request for access to customer data by a requesting entity is received; the data is categorized; the person's preferences with respect to allowing access to data are compiled; a requesting entity is determined; and the providing entity that collected each requested data item is determined. Data shareability rules are evaluated based on the policies that regulate the access of the customer data and the requesting entity, and the customer data is provided to the requesting entity according to the evaluation.

The method includes receiving a request, from a client device of a user, for authentication information; parsing the request; based on the parsing, determining an authentication score that represents a likelihood that the request is from an authenticated device; determining, from the authentication score, a number of segments into which the requested authentication information is divided; and for each of the segments, assigning one or more portions of the authentication information to that segment, in which each segment is associated with one or more times at which to transmit information assigned to that segment, and at one or more times specified by that segment, transmitting one or more portions of the authentication information assigned to that segment to the client device.

Abstract: A dual wearable smart device system and a method of using the dual wearable smart device system for authenticating an electronic financial transaction are described. In one embodiment, a method for approving an electronic financial transaction using at least two wearable smart devices includes providing a first wearable smart device that is designated as a payment device for conducting electronic financial transactions. The method also includes providing a second wearable smart device that is designated as a confirmation device for confirming the electronic financial transactions by the first wearable smart device. The method includes initiating, by the first wearable smart device, an electronic financial transaction, and, approving, by the second wearable smart device, the electronic financial transaction initiated by the first wearable smart device. The method further includes authenticating the first wearable smart device to complete the electronic financial transaction.

The smart contract(s) may employ information stored on the distributed ledger and information in a transaction sent to the smart contract(s) to determine whether particular user(s) and/or process(es) may access the device(s), issue commands to the device(s), access data generated by the device(s), and/or control the device(s). The smart contract(s) may provide a secure portal through which user(s) and/or service(s) may access device(s) for command and control of such device(s), and secure access may be based on permission information that is specified or provided by an owner or operator of the device(s) and that is stored on the distributed ledger.

Abstract: An emergency signaling system is disclosed. The system includes a receptacle and a painting device. The painting device is covered in a paint material and stored in the receptacle. The receptacle can be used to launch the painting device onto a surface, such as a roof, in the event that a user needs to signal a search and rescue team or anyone near their present location. The painting device, upon contact with a surface, creates a painted signal. The painted signal can have different shapes according to the shape of the painting device. The painting device can include weight members or flexible frame members to facilitate opening the painting device from a closed or folded configuration to a fully open configuration once the painting device has been launched from the receptacle.

Abstract: A container for the storage of valuables and a service to retrieve the container is disclosed. The container is designed to contain valuables and important documents, and protect these contents during an emergency evacuation situation. The container is waterproof and can float in water. The container can also be made of a flame-resistant material. The container can emit a homing signal to facilitate the retrieval of the container in the event of an emergency situation. A container retrieval service can initiate a retrieval of the container in response to a determination that a disaster is likely to occur in the region where the container is located.

Abstract: A system for controlling power in a facility having an electrical system including a generator and an associated fuel tank. The fuel tank provides fuel to the generator and has a gauge indicating remaining fuel. The generator is electrically connected to the electrical system. A first power consuming device imposes a first load connected to the electrical system of the facility and second power consuming device imposes a second load connected to the electrical system of the facility. The system receives information related to the loads and calculates an initial estimated run time of the generator given the remaining quantity of fuel and information related to the first load and information related to the second load. The system selectively removes the second load in a simulation and calculates a second run time of the generator given the remaining quantity of fuel and information related to the first load.

Abstract: A system and method for ensuring the authenticity of imaged documents by embedding data into the images of such documents. The embedded data can then be extracted and decoded, and used to determine whether a particular document may be fraudulent. The documents may be checks, money orders, contracts, invoices, titles or other legal documents that may need to have their authenticity confirmed to prevent, for example, forged or otherwise false documents from being accepted as genuine.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein disclose methods and systems for providing selective data access to representatives. In some embodiments, the system can monitor a call between a user and a representative regarding a subject matter. The user can have an associated profile with data, and the data can be locked such that the representative cannot access the data. During the conversation between the representative and the user, the system can continuously convert both parties' speech into text. The system can determine an intent of the call based on the text and unlock a portion of the data about the user based on the determined intent of the call. Only the unlocked portion of the data is displayed to the representative.
