Abstract: A method of operating a web service atomic transaction (WS-AT) system includes: receiving, at a processor of an extensible markup language (XML) gateway, a first message from a communicatively coupled client, and inserting a WS-AT Transaction Identifier (ID) from a Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) header into a hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) header of the first message to generate a first modified message. The method also includes: receiving, at a processor of a network device communicatively coupled to the XML gateway, the first modified message from the XML gateway, determining that the WS-AT Transaction ID is not yet associated with a service provider in a routing table, and in response, sending the first modified message to a particular service provider and associating the WS-AT Transaction ID with the particular service provider in the routing table such that future messages from the client can be routed to the particular service provider.

Abstract: An electronic device may include a processor that may receive baseline image data that represents desired content to be displayed on a webpage. The processor may also receive online image data that may be accessible via a network. The online image data may include code that causes the processor to display a representation of the webpage on an electronic display. The processor may then identify one or more differences between the baseline image data and the online image data and generate one or more modifications to the code based on the differences.

Abstract: An image of a check that is in the field of view of a camera is monitored prior to the image of the check being captured. The camera is associated with a mobile device. When the image of the check in the field of view passes monitoring criteria, an image may be taken by the camera and provided from the mobile device to a financial institution. The image capture may be performed automatically as soon as the image of the check is determined to pass the monitoring criteria. The check may be deposited in a user's bank account based on the image. Any technique for sending the image to the financial institution may be used. Feedback may be provided to the user of the camera regarding the image of the check in the field of view.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods that may generate so-called “honey credentials” that are transmitted to a “phishing” website, and are then stored into a honey credential database. The honey credentials appear to be valid credentials, but whenever a bad actor attempts to access an enterprise using the honey credentials, security appliances the enterprise may update the records of the honey credential database to include one or more unique identifiers for each bad actor device that attempts to access the enterprise network using the honey credentials. A server may automatically query the honey credential database to identify other accounts that have been accessed by devices that used the honey credentials to access the enterprise. The server may then flag the accounts and restrict their functionality.

Abstract: Mutual authentication techniques are described in this patent document. For example, when a first person calls a second person, neither of them know that the other person is who he or she says he or she is. Thus, after a second person receives the call, the second person is asked to authenticate himself or herself using a user device. After the second person logs into his or her account, the second person can input on the user device a one-time passcode to authenticate the first person. The user device sends the passcode to an authentication server that allows the first person to send back the inputted one-time passcode to the second person. Upon receiving the inputted one-time passcode, the second person can use his or her user device to indicate that the one-time passcode is correct so that the second person can be authenticated to access the first person's account.

Abstract: Methods and systems described in this disclosure can identify, from a social media listening device, content items posted by a plurality of users, where each of the content items is associated with a social handle. Each of the content items can be mapped to a user identifier associated with a user or a potential user of a service using the social handle. A subset of the mapped content items can be created by selecting the mapped content items that correspond to an event based on content. The mapped content items are then categorized based on the corresponding events in the content items. Service or product opportunity leads can be determined from the mapped and categorized content items.

Abstract: Techniques are described for managing risk in a network that includes one or more Internet-of-Things (IoT) devices. Management module(s) may operate to determine a model for an IoT in a home, office, or other environment, the model describing typical operations of the device(s) that are connected over an IoT. The operations of the IoT devices may be monitored for compliance with the model. The management module(s) may detect instances when one or more IoT devices exhibit behaviors that are a deviation from the normal operations indicated in the model, such as device failures. A policy may operate (e.g., as a smart contract) to transfer value to a user account in response to detecting an operational deviation of IoT device(s).

Abstract: A system and method of providing real time account information for financial accounts is disclosed. The system includes an event based architecture including an event stream. Financial transaction processing systems publish transaction events to the event stream. A transaction service listening to the event stream detects new transaction events. The transaction service takes action to enrich transaction data. A middleware system reconciles existing transactions and persists transaction records in long term storage. The system can detect fraudulent transactions before the transactions have been posted to the financial account. The system can also be used to provide real time notifications to customers about potential fraudulent activity.

Abstract: A system and method for locating mobile communication devices in a peer to peer communication using a beacon. The system and method include determining a first location of a first mobile communication device and transmitting the beacon from the first mobile communication device, which may be received by a second mobile computing device. In response to the beacon, the first mobile communication device may receive a message from a second mobile communication device. A peer to peer communication between the first mobile communication device and the second mobile communication device based on the message may be established. The first mobile communication device may receive a second location of the second mobile communication device from the second mobile communication device, and display both the first location and the second location on a map of the first mobile communication device.

Abstract: A system and method for authenticating a user's computing device that has submitted a request for the transfer of funds from the user's account at a financial institution. An authentication server at the financial institution compares currently received identifying data to previously stored identifying data, then makes a determination as to whether to approve the request for the transfer of funds. The identifying data may include a snapshot of apps or of lists of items installed on the user's computing device.

Abstract: A system to improve cooling of rack mounted components may include a first rack mounted component including a first motherboard, the first motherboard having a first edge and a second rack mounted component disposed above the first rack mounted component; the second rack mounted component having a second motherboard having a first edge, wherein the second motherboard is similar to the first motherboard. The second motherboard may be disposed above the first motherboard, and wherein the second motherboard is angled with respect to the first motherboard so that the first edge of the second motherboard is non-aligned with the first edge of the first motherboard. In addition, the first motherboard may be arranged horizontally in a first plane and the second mother board may be arranged horizontally in a second plane that is parallel to the first plane.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein disclose methods and systems for authorizing a payment card transaction using dynamic codes. The system can receive a request for authorization of a transaction using the payment card. The request can identify a verification code associated with the payment card and an identifier of the payment card, and the payment card can have an associated dynamic code accessible to a user via a channel. The verification code can be compared with a value of the dynamic code at the time of the transaction. The system can determine whether the user of the payment card accessed the channel within a time period prior to receiving the request for authorization. In response to the verification code matching the dynamic code at the time of the transaction and determining that the user accessed the channel within the time period prior to receiving the request, the system can authorize the transaction.

Abstract: An autonomous vehicle control system includes a first autonomous vehicle control center at a first location, and a second autonomous vehicle control center at a second location. The system also includes a controller configured to receive a first data input from the first autonomous vehicle control center and indicative of a first characteristic of the first autonomous vehicle control center, to receive a second data input from the second autonomous vehicle control center and indicative of a second characteristic of the second autonomous vehicle control center, and to receive a third data input indicative of an autonomous vehicle transport request or an autonomous vehicle storage request. The controller is also configured to select the first autonomous vehicle control center or the second autonomous vehicle control center based at least in part on the first data input, the second data input, and the third data input.

The offer engine proxy receives a first message comprising browsing information from the user computing device and sends the first message to the destination web server. The offer engine proxy receives a resulting web page from the destination web server. The offer engine proxy determines at least one topic of the browsing information. The offer engine proxy determines an offer to be sent to the user based on the at least one browsing information topic. The offer engine proxy modifies the resulting web page to include an offer to be sent to the user. The offer engine proxy sends a second message including the modified webpage and the offer to the user computing device.

Abstract: Methods and systems for rules-based data access are described. In some embodiments, a request for access to customer data by a requesting entity is received; the data is categorized; the person's preferences with respect to allowing access to data are compiled; a requesting entity is determined; and the providing entity that collected each requested data item is determined. Data shareability rules are evaluated based on the policies that regulate the access of the customer data and the requesting entity, and the customer data is provided to the requesting entity according to the evaluation.

Abstract: A first computer transmits a respective first command to each of a plurality of second computer systems. Each first command includes instructions to initiate one or more virtual machine instances on the respective second computer system. Each virtual machine instance is configured to retrieve data from a third computer system over a communications network, cache the retrieved data, and transmit the cached data to one or more client computers over the communications network in response to a request for the cached data by the one or more client computers. The first computer system also transmits configuration data to each of the second computer systems. The configuration data includes indications of one or more parameters associated with retrieving the data from the third computer system, caching the retrieved data, and/or transmitting the cached data to the one or more client computers.

Abstract: The APPARATUSES, METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR A VIDEO REMOTE DEPOSIT CAPTURE PLATFORM (hereinafter “RDC-Video”) provides a platform for remote deposit by obtaining images of a check from streaming video captured by a video camera, wherein the RDC-Video transforms captured check images and/or entered check deposit information inputs via RDC-Video components into deposit confirmation outputs. For example, in one embodiment, a user may employ a personal computer connected to a web camera, and/or a smartphone with a built-in camera to initiate the remote deposit by holding a check in front of the camera, and the RDC-Video may capture images of the check and send them to a financial institution for deposit processing.
