Abstract: A speech recognition process and system are used for interactive telecommunication. A caller is prompted for input. Each of the phrases represents a destination for routing the call. The response utterance is matched by the system to one of the phrases and the call is routed to the corresponding destination. If the call thereafter has been redirected to a destination representing another of the phrases, speech recognition training data are generated for mapping the utterance to the redirected destination.

Abstract: An interactive speech recognition process and system is disclosed. A user is prompted for selection of one of a number designated phrases represented in a grammar database. Speech recognition processing is applied to an uttered response from the user to match data in the grammar database, thereby identifying the selected phrase. The user is requested to confirm a determined match. If the match is not confirmed, the data corresponding to the matched phrase is removed from the grammar database and the user is re-prompted to select from the remaining phrases.

Abstract: An interactive speech recognition training process and system is disclosed. A speech recognition process is applied to a received speaker utterance. Abstract: An exemplary system includes a media content processing subsystem configured to provide a program guide graphical user interface (“GUI”) to a display for presentation to a user, the program guide GUI including a portion of a program guide. The media content processing subsystem is further configured to provide at least one navigation tool to the display for presentation in the program guide GUI, the navigation tool including a plurality of selectable options for navigating the program guide. The media content processing subsystem is further configured to detect a user selection of one of the selectable options and initiate a navigation to a location in the program guide based on the selected option. In certain embodiments, the navigation tool includes at least one of a time-based navigation tool and a channel navigation tool.

Abstract: A method, computer program product, and an apparatus for transferring a telephone call and associated data from an IVR system to a live agent or other system are provided. An exemplary embodiment may include a voice portal of the IVR system requesting an access number for a live agent and sending data associated with the telephone call to a CTI system. The CTI system may request and receive a routing label from a router and then send the data associated with the telephone call and the request for an access number to a call center using the routing label provided by the router. The CTI system may receive the access number from the call center and send the access number back through the IVR system to an exchange carrier for transferring the caller to the call center.

Abstract: A method, system, and computer program product for a management and development framework of shared business service assets within a common services oriented architecture strategy are provided. The framework comprises a multi-dimensional business oriented taxonomy that is aligned with organizational business services requiring software support. The framework affords advantageous placement of business service assets using a product publication schema and rapid search and discovery of business service assets through a product discovery schema. Implementation of the framework across multiple units of an organization facilitates business service asset reuse, thereby enabling a minimization of asset redundancy, reduction in business application development time and cost, and rapid market entry for organizational products.

A method disclosed includes receiving a device having a storage containing data corresponding to an account identifier and data associated with a voice portal and then establishing a connection with a server associated with the voice portal. Upon establishing the connection, the data corresponding to the account identifier is provided to the server associated with the voice portal. Then, upon confirmation by the server that the account identifier corresponds to an active subscriber account, the user is enabled to perform selected operations of the voice portal using voice input commands based on limitations, if any, associated with the active subscriber account.

Abstract: Techniques described herein may provide web pages to customers describing various accounts of the customers. In one implementation, a system receives a request for a web page from a client relating to an account of the client, and generates a document in response to the request. The document includes a reference to a script configured to display a context menu for the account in the web page. The script receives, asynchronously with the display of the context menu in the web page, a menu object representing actions for the context menu that are valid for the account. The system transmits the document and the script to the client.

Abstract: An exemplary system includes a plurality of heterogeneous data subsystems maintaining local data and a coordinator subsystem configured to maintain global data mapped from the local data, the global data including a plurality of global data relationship views. One of the heterogeneous data subsystems is configured to initiate a data conversion of at least one local data record included in the local data from an origin data schema to a target data schema and to provide at least one data update message representative of the data conversion to the coordinator subsystem. The coordinator subsystem is configured to receive the data update message and asynchronously propagate the data conversion through to at least a subset of the global relationship views in the global data.

Abstract: In one of many possible embodiments, an exemplary system includes a test management subsystem configured to provide a user portal to a user of a circuit provided by a service provider, the user portal including a tool enabling the user to select a signal loop for testing at least a section of the circuit, the signal loop being selected from a plurality of signal loop options. The system also includes a network management subsystem communicatively coupled to the test management subsystem, the network management subsystem being configured to receive data representative of the selection from the test management subsystem and instruct, based on the selection, a network device along the circuit to execute a loop-back mode. In certain embodiments, the selected signal loop defines a test pattern signal flow for testing a subsection of the circuit.

Abstract: Methods and systems for automatically providing conference calls are disclosed. In one aspect, methods and systems detect a conference call event that was previously configured by a subscriber user and identify participant users associated with the conference call event. In another aspect, when configuring a conference call event, a subscriber user may enter, select or otherwise designate conference information that the user wishes to be displayed in the caller identification fields that are sent out when a bridge dials the participant users associated with the conference call. Once identified, each participant user is contacted and a response is received from each of the users. Based on the received responses, a conference call is established between the participant users and the subscriber user.
