Abstract: Axially compressible, F-connectors for conventional installation tools for interconnection with coaxial cable include adaptations for establishing electrical continuity despite inadequate nut tightening. Each connector has a rigid nut, a post penetrating the nut, a tubular body, and an end cap. The conductive post coaxially extends through the connector, linking the nut and body. A post end penetrates the coaxial cable. The connector may have a circumferential groove defined in the end cap mounting an annular D-ring which tensions contact between the post and nut. The connector may comprise a continuity coil seated within a post groove in spring-loaded contact with the nut and the post for promoting continuity. The connector may comprise a pressure spring and an O-ring seated within a post groove in spring-loaded contact with the nut for promoting continuity.

Abstract: A spectacle lens is disclosed. The disclosed lens provides a vision correcting area for the correction of a wearer's refractive error. The viewing correction area provides correction for non-conventional refractive error to provide at least a part of the wearer's vision correction. The lens has a prescription based on a wave front analysis of the wearer's eye and the lens can further be modified to fit within an eyeglass frame.
Abstract: A method of processing images captured by an in vivo capsule camera is disclosed. The images having large overlap exceeding a threshold are stitched into larger images. If the current image and none of its neighboring images has large overlap, the current image is designated as a non-stitched image. Any image, that exists between two images stitched and is not included in the stitched image, is also designated as a non-stitched image. The large-overlap stitching can be performed on the images iteratively by treating the stitched images and non-stitched image as to be processed images in the next round. A second stage stitching can be applied to stitch small-overlap images. The small-overlap image stitching can also be applied iteratively. A third stage stitching can be further applied to stitch the output images from the second stage processing.

The present invention further relates to block copolymers, wetting agent and polymeric materials having the block copolymers of the present invention associated with, which is suitable for medical devices, particularly for ophthalmic devices, including contact lenses, ophthalmic lenses, punctal plugs and artificial corneas.
Abstract: A computerized system mountable on a vehicle operable to detect an object by processing first image frames from a first camera and second image frames from a second camera. A first range is determined to said detected object using the first image frames. An image location is projected of the detected object in the first image frames onto an image location in the second image frames. A second range is determined to the detected object based on both the first and second image frames. The detected object is tracked in both the first and second image frames When the detected object leaves a field of view of the first camera, a third range is determined responsive to the second range and the second image frames.
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for examining samples (1) in a liquid (5), comprising a movable shaft (2), to which the sample (1) is fastened, and a cuvette (4), wherein the device further comprises a bath (3), which surrounds the movable shaft (2), and wherein the bath (3) is fillable with the liquid (5), the movable shaft (2) is configured to receive the sample (1) at the upper side (24) thereof, the movable shaft (2) reaches into the cuvette (4) from below, wherein said cuvette is open at least toward the bottom and configured to be immersed into the liquid (5) in the bath (3) with the underside thereof, and, moreover, means are provided to generate a pressure difference between the interior of the cuvette (4) and the region outside of the cuvette (4) such that the fill level (21) of the liquid (5) in the cuvette (4) is adjustable. Moreover, the invention relates to a method for examining samples (1) in a liquid (5).
