  • Patent number: 11918429
Abstract: A water flosser is provided that may include a body, a reservoir, a cap coupled to the body and a tip extending through an opening in the cap. The water flosser may include a latch assembly that selectively retains the tip to the body. In one embodiment, the cap, the tip and the latch assembly are all rotatable as a unit about a defined axis relative to the body. An ejector button may be provided to actuate the latch assembly. In one embodiment, the ejector button extends through an upper surface of the cap. Actuation of the latch assembly may include displacement of the ejector button in a direction that is parallel with a rotational axis of the tip. • Patent number: 11919013
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a showerhead that outputs a pulsating or massaging spray. The showerhead may include an engine including a flow directing housing, a turbine, and a shutter to create the pulsating or intermittent spray. The flow directing housing may have a plurality of flow directing apertures defined around its perimeter, allowing for water to tangentially flow into the engine, rotating the turbine. As the turbine rotates, the shutter moves back and forth creating the pulsating spray.

  • Patent number: 11864965
Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to oral health products, such as electric toothbrushes. In one example, the electric toothbrush includes a housing, an output shaft positioned within and extending out of the housing, a magnetic assembly positioned within the housing and configured to impart an oscillation motion to the output shaft, and a spring positioned within the housing. The spring includes a first end non-rotatably coupled to the housing and a second end non-rotatably coupled to the output shaft, such that the spring twists as the magnetic assembly oscillates the output shaft to amplify the oscillation motion of the output shaft generated by the magnetic assembly.

  • Patent number: 11826214
Abstract: In one embodiment, an oral irrigator including a reservoir, a tip fluidly connected to the reservoir, a motor having a drive shaft, and a pump. The pump includes a pump body including a pump inlet fluidly connected to the reservoir and a pump outlet fluidly connected to the tip, a spiral pinion gear including a plurality of pinion gear teeth that curve along their length, and a spiral driven gear including a plurality of driven gear teeth that mesh with the pinion gear teeth. The pump also may include a connecting rod eccentrically connected to the driven gear and a piston and received within the pump body. Movement of the drive shaft causes the pinion gear to rotate, causing the driven gear to rotate, translating the connecting rod and moving the piston laterally within the pump body to pull fluid from the reservoir and push the fluid to the tip.

  • Patent number: 11648573
Abstract: The present disclosure is related to a showerhead including a housing, a turbine, and a shutter. The housing defines a fluid inlet and a chamber in fluid communication with the fluid inlet. The chamber includes a plurality of engagement teeth and defines outlets for a first nozzle bank and a second nozzle bank. The turbine is received in the chamber. The shutter is received in the chamber and rotatably coupled to the turbine such that rotation of the turbine causes movement of the shutter. The shutter includes a plurality of shutter teeth positioned around a perimeter of the shutter. Engagement of the shutter teeth and the engagement teeth act to restrict the shutter from rotating while allowing the shutter to move across the chamber in a sliding motion.
