Abstract: An oral irrigator handle including a housing and a first fitting, the first fitting including a first fitting inlet in fluid communication with a handle inlet in fluid communication with a fluid source and a first fitting outlet in fluid communication with the first fitting inlet. The handle includes a seal positioned around the first fitting and between the first fitting inlet and the first fitting outlet. A second fitting includes a second fitting inlet in fluid communication with the first fitting outlet and a second fitting outlet in fluid communication with the second fitting inlet. A bottom portion of the second fitting seats on a portion of the first fitting so that the seal engages an interior surface of the second fitting, a flow passage is coupled to the second fitting and in fluid communication with the second fitting outlet.

Abstract: A showerhead is disclosed including a first nozzle, a second nozzle, and a massage mode assembly in fluid communication with a fluid inlet, the first nozzle and the second nozzle. The massage mode assembly includes a turbine, a cam coupled to the turbine defining a dwell edge that extends between a leading corner and a follower corner, and a shutter movably coupled to the cam, where movement of the turbine causes the cam to drive shutter between a first position covering the first nozzle and opening the second nozzle and a second position opening the first nozzle and covering the second nozzle.
Abstract: An oral irrigator including a reservoir, a handle, a housing, a bezel positioned at least partially within and secured to the housing, and an actuator operably coupled to the housing and movable relative thereto is disclosed. The actuator includes a control shaft extending from the interior surface of the face and positioned inwards from an outer perimeter of front wall. The control shaft extends through an aperture in the housing and movement of a gripping body causes the control shaft to directly actuate a switch or a pressure assembly positioned within the housing. The actuator also includes an augmentation fluid positioned between the bezel and a portion of the actuator. The augmentation fluid modifies a frictional relationship between the bezel and the actuator to provide a predefined resistance force between the actuator and the bezel as the actuator is rotated relative to the bezel.
Abstract: A chassis of an oral cleansing device is provided. The oral cleansing device may include a first chassis half including a first threaded portion, a second chassis half including a second threaded portion, and a nut threaded onto the first threaded portion and the second threaded portion to at least partially secure the first chassis half to the second chassis half. The threaded portions may be defined on respective ends of the first chassis half and the second chassis half. The nut may engage chamfered edges of the first chassis half and the second chassis half. Engagement of the nut with the first chamfered edge and the second chamfered edge may produce a radial compressive force on the chassis halves. The first chassis half and the second chassis half may at least partially define a chassis that is positioned within a handle of the oral cleansing device.
Abstract: Consumable abrasive-containing oral hygiene tablets are described. The tablets include glycine as an abrasive. The glycine average (Mv) particle size may be greater than 45 ?m. The tablets may be used with an oral irrigator and, when placed in the irrigator's fluid flow path, may disintegrate, release the abrasive, and improve the cleaning efficacy of the irrigator.
Abstract: A showerhead including a head portion including a plurality of nozzles, a handle extending from the head portion and including an inlet, and a pause assembly positioned within the handle to control water flow from the inlet to the plurality of nozzles is disclosed. The pause assembly includes a control extending outwardly from the handle for manipulation by a user to change a state of the pause assembly and an actuator that translates motion of the control to change the state of the pause assembly.
Abstract: In one embodiment, a charging connector for charging devices, such as oral health devices, is disclosed. The charging connector may include a cable configured to connect to a power source and a plug in electrical communication with the cable and configured to connect to a device. The plug includes a plug body, a first conductive contact in electrical communication with the cable, a second conductive contact in electrical communication with the cable, a first magnetic element aligned with the first conductive contact and having a first polarity, and a second magnetic element aligned with the second conductive contact and having a second polarity that is different from the first polarity.
Abstract: A showerhead including a housing defining a plurality of nozzles and an inlet and having a water control assembly is disclosed. The water control assembly may be positioned at least partially within the housing between the plurality of nozzles and the inlet to control water flow from the inlet to the plurality of nozzles. The water control assembly including an actuator linearly movable along a length of the housing, a valve operably coupled to the actuator that rotates from a first position allowing fluid flow from the inlet to reach the nozzles to a second position reducing fluid flow from the inlet to the nozzles, and a valve driver coupled between the actuator and the valve, where the valve driver converts the linear motion of the actuator into a rotational movement of the valve.
Abstract: An oral irrigator is provided. The oral irrigator may include a base unit defining a recess, a reservoir supported by the base unit, a handle support attached to the base unit above the recess, an oral irrigator handle supported by the handle support, and a tube attached to the handle and in fluid communication with the reservoir and the handle such that fluid from the reservoir flows through the tube into the handle. The tube may include a coiled portion that is received in the recess defined by the base unit when the handle is supported by the handle support.
