The recording unit decides that the condition of the expiration is satisfied when an expiration date represented by information indicative of the expiration date elapses if the information is included in the in-monitoring assertion information recorded by the another image forming apparatus, and the recording unit does not generate the in-monitoring assertion information and the executing unit does not execute the image formation processing in that case when the predetermined condition of the expiration is not satisfied.

    Abstract: This is a PCBA that can be used in any system where one component or package is connected to another component or package. This invention provides a very short connector or signal path that avoids the necessity of a signal trace termination in the PCB. The PCB has on its upper surface a first component or package and on its lower surface a second component or package in vertical physical and signal alignment with the first component or package. The first component or package has a BGA on its bottom surface and the second component has a BGA on its top surface, both of these BGAs are in electrical contact with each other. Because of the short signal trace provided, the PCB provides signal transitions as fast as 200 pS.

    Abstract: What is disclosed is a novel system and method for reducing a size of a memory buffer used by an electronic registration correction system performing an electronic registration correction on a digital image. The present method uses column address segmentation to identify blocks of scanlines within a spatially mapped array of image pixels comprising a digital image. Advantageously, the present system and method reduces scanline buffer memory by a factor of 2n?1, where n is the number of column address segments. Buffering can be performed at almost any upstream location in the image path. The present method is well suited for high resolution imaging equipment where memory is constrained by design, cost, or space limitations.
