  • Patent number: 11420479
Abstract: A pneumatic vehicle tire having a tread divided by circumferential grooves, which have a profile depth (T), into block rows running in encircling fashion in a circumferential direction and/or profile ribs which are structured in the manner of profile blocks. Block rows are divided by transverse grooves into blocks and, like the profile ribs structured in the manner of profile blocks, are equipped with blind grooves proceeding from the circumferential grooves. Transverse and/or blind grooves are provided which, owing to a connection of blocks adjacent in the circumferential direction and/or of the block-like structures, have a depth smaller than profile depth (T). The connection has at least two connection steps of different heights, the lowest is formed in each case at the region in which the transverse grooves and/or blind grooves open into the circumferential grooves.

  • Patent number: 11406537
Abstract: A laser eye surgery system includes a laser to generate a laser beam. A spatial measurement system generates a measurement beam and measure a spatial disposition of an eye. A processor is coupled to the laser and the spatial measurement system, the processor comprising a tangible medium embodying instructions to determine a spatial model of the eye in an eye coordinate reference system based on the measurement beam. The spatial model is mapped from the eye coordinate reference system to a machine coordinate reference system. A laser fragmentation pattern is determined based on a plurality of laser fragmentation parameters. The laser fragmentation pattern and the spatial model is rotated by a first rotation angle such that the spatial model is aligned with the reference axis of the machine coordinate reference system and the rotated laser fragmentation pattern is aligned with the corneal incision.

  • Patent number: 11350964
Abstract: Prostate treatment using fluid stream to resect prostate tissue, thereby relieving symptoms of conditions such as BPH, prostatitis, and prostatic carcinoma. A device having a fluid delivery element is positioned within a lumen of the urethra within the prostate. A fluid stream is directed outwardly from the fluid delivery element toward a wall of the urethral lumen. The fluid delivery element is moved to scan the fluid stream over the wall to remove a volume of tissue surrounding the lumen. The fluid may be combined with therapeutically active substances or with substances that increase resection efficiency. Fluid force may be adjusted to provide selective tissue resection such that soft tissue is removed while harder tissue is left undamaged. In order to gain a working space within the urethra, another fluid may be introduced to insufflate the urethra in the region of treatment.
