Abstract: An intraocular shunt can be placed into the eye in an ab externo approach. A clinician may determine an entry area below a corneal limbus of an eye and a target outflow region. Thereafter, the clinician can insert a hollow shaft into the eye at the entry area toward an anterior chamber of the eye, the shaft carrying an intraocular shunt therein. The clinician can position an inflow end of the shunt within the anterior chamber of the eye and, while maintaining the shunt inflow end in the anterior chamber, can remove the shaft from the eye to release the shunt. Finally, the clinician can repositioning an outflow end of the shunt within the target outflow region and verify placement of the outflow end of the shunt within the target outflow region.
Abstract: A media creation system is provided for creating photographs and videos that include assets sourced from different geographic locations. The media creation system may parsing media, transposition the media, and/or perform additional modifications to the media. A method for creating photographs, videos, and live streams of one or more assets sourced from different geographic locations using the audiovisual media composition system is also provided.
Abstract: An air compressor includes a compressor assembly having an electric motor and a pump driven by the motor, a battery pack electrically connected to the motor for providing electrical power thereto, a storage tank that receives compressed air from the pump, and a case enclosing at least the compressor assembly and the storage tank. The case attenuates noise emitted by the compressor assembly.
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a cache memory system includes a cache memory and a cache controller. The cache memory can store first data to be read or written by a processor. The cache controller is configured to execute a refresh. The refresh includes reading the first data stored in the cache memory and writing the read first data to the cache memory. When executing the refresh, the cache controller is configured to exchange the first data stored in a first area of the cache memory for second data stored in a second area of the cache memory.
Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a communication interface, a display, and a controller configured to, when the image forming apparatus is remotely connected with an information processing device via the communication interface, transmit, to the information processing device, screen data for causing the information processing device to display a same screen as a display screen being displayed on the display, when receiving remote access from the information processing device, perform display processing for the display screen in accordance with the remote access, and when the remote access is received while a particular screen is being displayed as the display screen on the display, impose a display restriction on the display screen.
Abstract: A bi-directional buffer for applications using in an I2C or SMBUS or other bus systems. The bi-directional buffer has an input terminal to receive an input voltage signal and an output terminal for providing an output voltage signal, and the output voltage signal follows the input voltage signal. The output voltage signal is regulated to have a first bias voltage greater than the input voltage signal by a first operational amplifier, or to have a second bias voltage greater than the input voltage signal by a second operational amplifier, the second bias voltage is smaller than the first bias voltage.

Abstract: Provided is a gas sensor system with a gas sensor, and a microprocessor programmed to control the gas sensor with at least two operational modes. The first operational mode controls the gas sensor from a baseline level through analyte detection. Upon initiation of the recovery phase after analyte withdrawal, the gas sensor system switches to the second operational mode, which changes conditions of the gas sensor to (i) accelerate removal of the analyte from the gas sensor and (ii) accelerate recovery of the gas sensor output towards the baseline level. When no further analyte is detected, the gas sensor switches back to the first operational mode or to an additional operational mode to complete recovery.

Abstract: The tumbler bottle includes a cup having a side wall interior surface and bottom wall a convex interior surface. Abstract: A method of processing a workpiece with a disk-shaped blade containing abrasive grains includes the steps of placing an auxiliary plate made of a material having a modulus of elasticity higher than a material of which a front surface side of the workpiece is made, on the front surface side of the workpiece, causing the blade rotated to cut into the front surface side of the workpiece to cut the workpiece as well as the auxiliary plate, and removing the auxiliary plate from the workpiece that has been cut by the blade.
