Abstract: Example embodiments of systems, devices, and methods are provided herein for energy systems having multiple modules arranged in cascaded fashion for storing power from one or more photovoltaic sources. Each module includes an energy source and converter circuitry that selectively couples the energy source to other modules in the system over an AC interface for generating AC power or for receiving and storing power from a charge source. Each module also includes a DC interface for receiving power from one or more photovoltaic sources. Each module can be controlled by control system to route power from the photovoltaic source to that modules energy source or to the AC interface. The energy systems can be arranged in single phase or multiphase topologies with multiple serial or interconnected arrays. The energy systems can be arranged such that each module receives power from the same single photovoltaic source, or multiple photovoltaic sources.

Abstract: Systems and methods for determining that artificial commands, in excess of a threshold value, are detected by multiple voice activated electronic devices is described herein. In some embodiments, numerous voice activated electronic devices may send audio data representing a phrase to a backend system at a substantially same time. Text data representing the phrase, and counts for instances of that text data, may be generated. If the number of counts exceeds a predefined threshold, the backend system may cause any remaining response generation functionality that particular command that is in excess of the predefined threshold to be stopped, and those devices returned to a sleep state. In some embodiments, a sound profile unique to the phrase that caused the excess of the predefined threshold may be generated such that future instances of the same phrase may be recognized prior to text data being generated, conserving the backend system's resources.

Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product for determining ancillary subdivision/districts may include obtaining track data associated with one or more railroads operating one or more subdivisions/districts over which the train may travel, determining an ancillary subdivision/district of the one or more subdivisions/districts that are not included in the track data by any of the one or more railroads, receiving track data for the railroad associated with the ancillary subdivision/district, and communicating with one or more wayside interface units in the ancillary subdivision/district based on the track data.

Abstract: A system and method is disclosed for incrementally adjusting a supply chain plan. The system includes a database operable to store data associated with one or more supply chain entities and a server system coupled with the database. The server system receives one or more perturbations in supply chain plan inputs from one or more of the supply chain entities, wherein the perturbations are received during a period of time separating a supply chain planning session from a subsequent supply chain planning session and accesses the data stored in the database associated with the one or more supply chain entities. The server system also incrementally and optimally adjusts the supply chain plan based on the one or more received perturbations and the data stored in the database and communicates the incrementally adjusted supply chain plan to the one or more supply chain entities.

Abstract: Systems and methods directed to formulating and suggesting a subject line based on content of an email message are provided. More specifically, content corresponding to one or more portions of an email may be received, where the content may be utilized to determine one or more email topics and at least one intent of the email. An intent of the email may correspond to whether an action is to be performed, whether a question is presented, whether a request for time is present, and/or any other request on the part of the recipient or the sender. Based on the intent of the email and the one or more topics, a subject line suggestion may be formulated and presented to a user.

Abstract: Implementations can receive, at a computing device, audio data corresponding to a spoken utterance of a user, process the audio data to generate, for one or more parts of the spoken utterance, a plurality of speech hypotheses, select a given one of the speech hypotheses, cause the given one of the speech hypotheses to be incorporated as a portion of a transcription associated with the software application, and store the plurality of speech hypotheses. In some implementations, the plurality of speech hypotheses can be loaded at an additional computing device when the transcription is accessed at the additional computing device. In additional or alternative implementations, the plurality of speech hypotheses can be loaded into memory of the computing device when the software application is reactivated and/or when a subsequent dialog session associated with the transcription is initiated.

Abstract: Implementations relate to generating a proficiency measure, and utilizing the proficiency measure to adapt one or more automated assistant functionalities. The generated proficiency measure is for a particular class of automated assistant actions, and is specific to an assistant device and/or is specific to a particular user. A generated proficiency measure for a class can reflect a degree of proficiency, of a user and/or of an assistant device, for that class. Various automated assistant functionalities can be adapted, for a particular class, responsive to determining the proficiency measure satisfies a threshold, or fails to satisfy the threshold (or an alternate threshold). The adaptation(s) can make automated assistant processing more efficient and/or improve (e.g., shorten the duration of) user-assistant interaction(s).

Abstract: A surgical platform and trolley assembly and an interface of a robotic system are provided. The surgical platform and trolley assembly includes a trolley portion and a surgical platform portion. The trolley portion supports the surgical platform portion, and affords positioning and repositioning of the surgical platform portion relative to the interface of the robotic system. Abstract: The present invention relates to a self-lifting supply container that includes a movable tray, guides fastened to the movable tray, and container walls with tracks cut therethrough. The movable tray fits within the container walls allowing the movable tray to slide up and down the tracks. Elastic bands pass over pulleys that are secured to the container bottom and the guides. In operation, the weight of a supply material added to the movable tray causes the movable tray to descend into the container tower, tensioning the elastic bands and removing a portion of the supply material, reducing weight on the movable tray causes the movable tray to partially ascend the container tower keeping the supply material accessible to a user proximate to the container top regardless of the amount of the supply material remaining on the movable tray within the self-lifting supply container.

Abstract: A constellation of many satellites provide communication between devices such as user terminals (UTs) and ground stations that are connected to other networks, such as the Internet. A constellation management system (CMS) facilitates management and operation of the satellites in the constellation and facilitates information exchange with other authorized systems to provide for situationally aware operation. The CMS may ingest data such as satellite telemetry, space weather data, object ephemeris data about other orbital objects, and so forth. The CMS uses the ingested data to automatically operate satellites to perform routine activities such as station keeping maneuvers, maintenance activities, interference mitigation, and so forth. Confirmation from a human operator may be obtained before performing some activities. Activities may be planned and coordinated to minimize resource consumption for the individual satellite as well as the constellation.

Abstract: A cover system for selectively blocking insertion of unauthorized objects through an aperture of a restraint mount of a patient support apparatus is provided. The cover system includes a cover and an instrument having an interface. The cover includes a brace and a restrictor coupled to the brace. The brace attaches to the patient support apparatus adjacent to the aperture and the restrictor operates in a restrict mode blocks access to the aperture and a permit mode where the restrictor permits access to the aperture. The cover also includes a lock mechanism, which includes a keeper movable between a locked state where movement of the restrictor is inhibited and an unlocked state where movement of the restrictor is permitted. The keeper moves from the locked state to the unlocked state in response to selective engagement between the interface of the instrument and a receiver of the lock mechanism.

Abstract: Multi-piece nestable basket sets are disclosed. In some embodiments, the basket sets comprise a handle component and a basket component. The present disclosure describes a system of shipping the components separately and assembling the components into a basket set prior to retail sale to customers. Exemplary basket components are configured to allow a first basket component to nest within a second basket component. In some embodiments, the basket sets herein can provide a centrally-located handle so that the set may be carried with one hand. A connecting mechanism is described wherein a handle component is connected to a basket component to create an integrated basket set that resists disassembly. Multiple embodiments of connecting mechanisms are described. One exemplary connecting mechanism comprises a handle component having two flanges that snap onto the base of a basket.
