Abstract: A system and method for digitally connecting a network of physical games are disclosed. According to one embodiment, a system comprises a table game having a first goal. A first sensor is inside first the goal. The system has a microcontroller in communication with the first sensor that collects first data. A computing device is in communication with the microcontroller that detects when a ball has entered the first goal.

Abstract: A method for dynamically modifying audio playback of a video game is provided. The method includes ascertaining a game music data associated with the video game. The game music data may include a plurality of game soundtracks classified according to predetermined criteria. The method may include collecting feedback over a period of time while the user is playing the video game. The method may continue with determining, based on the feedback, one or more replacement soundtracks based on criteria associated with the one or more replacement soundtracks. The method may further include dynamically modifying the game music data while the user is playing the video game by replacing at least one of the plurality of game soundtracks with the one or more replacement soundtracks to obtain modified game music data. The modified game music data may be provided to the user while the user is playing the video game.
Abstract: A game system, comprising: a data processing system configured to execute program instructions allowing a user to engage in digital game play; a physical toy; and a detection device configured to detect a presence of the toy within a detection area of the detection device; wherein the toy comprises two or more identification elements each detectable by the detection device when the identification element is positioned within the detection area, wherein the toy is configured to allow a user to selectively position the toy with a user-selected subset of one or more of said identification elements within the detection area; and wherein the data processing system is configured to control said digital game play responsive to the detected subset of identification elements.
Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes generating a live video signal of a scene associated with a field of view of a user, wherein the scene includes a first racing element associated with a race having a plurality of race rules. The method further includes determining, based on the live video signal in real time, a first racing value for the first racing element, based on a race rule of the plurality of race rules. The method further includes displaying an indication of the first racing value within the scene to the user in real time, so that the indication is associated with the first racing element within the scene.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for presenting highlights from broadcasts in spectating environments. A highlight service determines highlight events in the broadcasts, and extracts highlight segments from the broadcasts according to the determined events. Highlight reels may be created from the highlight segments according to highlight selection criteria (genre, game title, broadcaster, time period, etc.) and/or spectator preferences. The highlight service may provide a highlight user interface (UI) via which spectators may selectively view the highlights and highlight reels. The highlight service may generate highlight reels targeted to particular spectators or groups of spectators according to spectators' specified or otherwise determined preferences, demographics, viewing history, and so on.

In this case, the aggregation is performed such that an execution state of the application is recognizable for each application executing user. The aggregate data is transmitted in response to a request from a second information processing apparatus. Abstract: A fantasy sports management system includes a wireless transceiver and a processor. the wireless transceiver is configured to communicate sports-related information to a mobile device that includes a fantasy sports management application. The processor is in communication with the wireless transceiver. Real-time sports information is received from the fantasy sports management application on the mobile device. An input is received requesting the fantasy sports management application to suggest a starter for a roster of the mobile device user. Roster information is received relating to the user and other users' fantasy sports teams. A determination is made regarding whether the rosters of the user and the other users are substantially similar. If they are, a suggestion of changing the user's roster is made and sent so that the user has the ability to change his roster to more aligned with the roster of the other users.
