  • Patent number: 10589177
Abstract: An in-game video game editing system and method is provided. An electronic processor executes a game software application to generate, on a display, a graphical gameplay interface including a plurality of sprites and a graphical editing panel listing predetermined modifications. The electronic processor receives a selection of one of the predetermined modifications ad determines a type of the predetermined modification. The type indicates whether the predetermined modification includes adding a new sprite or selecting an existing sprite. Based on the type, an existing sprite is selected from the graphical gameplay interface. The electronic processor then adds a block of code to the selected sprite based on the predetermined modification to generate a modified sprite, and executes the block of code to provide the modified sprite on the graphical gameplay interface.

  • Patent number: 10583366
Abstract: A method for an online video game or application service system includes running a video game or application on an application host server at a data center, an uncompressed video stream being produced therefrom. The uncompressed video stream is encoded into compressed video stream, which is then transmitted over the Internet to an output client device of a user. The output client device decompresses the compressed video stream and displays live video on a screen. User control input transmitted from an input client device is delivered to the application host server. The user control input includes game or application commands. The input client device is associated with the user and is separate from the output client device. Responsive to receiving the game or application commands, the application host server generates a new uncompressed video stream.

  • Patent number: 10532265
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a system for sensor-based objective determination. In general, sensor data may be used to render objective determinations that were not previously possible due to the unavoidable subjectivity of human-based officiating systems. For example, at least one device may be configured to make objective determinations during the course of a sporting event. Data collection circuitry may receive data from sensor devices coupled to players, equipment, playing surfaces, etc. Data analysis circuitry may categorize the data and input the data into a model to determine if an infraction occurred. For example, categorization may involve determining a type of infraction that may have occurred based on the sensor data. The model may then be selected based on the type of infraction, the model being developed utilizing prior sensor data, rules for the sporting event, etc. Output circuitry may generate a notification based on the infraction determination.
