Abstract: A position debiased search system can avoid bias towards top-ranked search results using a position-trained machine-trained model. Past positions for listings can be input into the model with added noise and low-ranked results to train the model to generate rankings that do not exhibit position bias. A network site can implement the position debiased search system to generate network site results that can generate accurate user results in real time as users browse the network site.

Abstract: According to an embodiment, there is provided a method for data mining from core traces in a processing system for wireless baseband design that includes detecting a core trace in the processing system where the core trace is a sequence of instructions executed in the processing system. Instruction addresses in the core trace are mapped to a plurality of application or operating system functions. The mapped functions are sorted into a hierarchical format. A gene function is identified in the hierarchical format where the gene function is a fundamental function executed by the processing system. Attributes for the gene function are derived from the hierarchical format. The attributes are stored into a gene function library database.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a digital asset synchronization system that provides improved digital asset management and synchronization of a digital asset stored either within a component database or a packaged file. For example, the digital asset synchronization system enables a set of components that makes up a digital asset to appear as a singular packaged file, while also maintaining the benefits of having the digital asset made up of the components. In this manner, the digital asset synchronization system provides a bridge between a digital asset stored in a packaged file format and conventional file formats. In addition, the digital asset synchronization system also provides digital asset management and improved synchronization between a client device and a cloud storage system.

Abstract: Mediums, apparatus, computer program code, and means may be provided to customize electronic records associated with a distributed communication network via an automated back-end application computer server. According to some embodiments, a relational database management system database and a plurality of database tables linked to the relational database management system database may be accessed. The back-end application computer server may retrieve electronic record layout information and utilize pre-determined logic associated with the plurality of linked tables, including logic that matches multiple pointers within a single pair of linked tables, to automatically insert accessed data into a customized electronic record in accordance with the electronic record layout information. The customized electronic record may then be transmitted to be rendered via an interactive user interface display.

Abstract: One embodiment provides a method, including: obtaining at least two documents, wherein one of the at least two documents comprises a revision different than another of the at least two documents; identifying, within each of the at least two documents, portions corresponding to groups of text containing a conceptual unit; assigning at least a subset of the identified portions to a category type corresponding to a topic of a given portion, wherein the assigning comprises (i) generating a semantic tag for the identified portions in the subset and (ii) tagging the identified portions in the subset with the semantic tag; and determining changes between the at least two documents, wherein the determining comprises (iii) aligning given portions across the at least two documents based upon a relationship between the given portions across the at least two documents, (iv) identifying semantic differences between the aligned portions, and (v) identifying any remaining unaligned portions.

A first pass metadata hash is calculated for each of the objects in an object-set that is subsequently transferred from the first to the second site. Responsive to the second site, a second pass metadata hash is calculated for remaining objects of the object-set that are identified by the second site at a sub-object level using a predetermined size.

Abstract: Presented herein are methods, non-transitory computer readable media, and devices triggering a metadata recovery process within a network storage system, which include: dividing metadata into metadata segments, wherein each of the metadata segments is tasked to perform a specific file system operation function, validating each of the metadata segments during the specific file system operation function; upon failure to validate at least one of the metadata segments, triggering an automatic repair process while maintaining the operation function tasked to the metadata segment, and upon finalizing the automatic repair process, resuming the specific file system operation function tasked to the metadata segment.

Abstract: Systems and methods for automatic error rejection are provided. Systems and methods described herein bypass the creation of a staging table at the outset and, instead, attempt a direct merge from a source data location to a target data location. In the event that the merge fails, then a temporary/staging table can be loaded where errors can be logged, validations can be performed, and erroneous data can be corrected.

Abstract: A ring replication system receives and redundantly stores electronic data for access by users. Two or more storage devices are configured in a ring and circulate received data to each other. At least one such device receives incoming data records from an external source. One storage device is designated as the ordering device for assigning a sequence order to each data record, and the assigned sequence order is circulated around the ring. After confirming that the assigned sequence order has been indexed within each storage device on the ring, data records may then be accessed by users. One or more access portals may be coupled to one or more storage devices in the replication ring for providing users with access to stored data records. Data records are accessed in accordance with the assigned sequence order. A related method for redundant storage of data records is also disclosed.

Abstract: Searching stored content is disclosed. A first mapping is created from an object to one or more stored relational database tables. A second mapping is created from the object to an indexer schema. One or both of the following is done: 1) using the first mapping to translate a search request expressed in an abstract query language to a first query language associated with the relational database; and 2) using the second mapping to translate the search request to a second query language associated with the indexer schema.

Abstract: In one example, a method includes obtaining cluster and machine configuration information, sending a restore request for one or more machines, and loading a backup of a virtual machine, the backup having been created by a federated backup process involving the physical proxy node, and the virtual machine includes data that resides on a virtual federated database that is an element of a cluster environment and to which respective databases of each of a plurality of nodes of the cluster environment are mapped. Next, the virtual machine is taken offline after the backup of the virtual machine has been loaded, and after the virtual machine has been taken offline, the virtual machine is removed from the node where it resides. The backup of the virtual machine is then restored, and the restored virtual machine brought online, after which the restored virtual machine is enabled as a cluster-wide virtual machine.

Abstract: A production host for hosting applications includes a persistent storage and a production agent. The persistent storage stores application data of the applications. The production agent obtains a backup analysis request for an application executing on the production host; in response to obtaining the backup analysis request: obtains an identity of the application; identifies backups in a backup storage, wherein the identified backups are associated with the identity of the application; performs a backup policy compliance analysis of the identified backups to generate a backup protection map for the application.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer readable media for performing metadata-driven data collection are disclosed. In some examples, a method includes receiving a request for system status data for components of a distributed computing system while the distributed computing system is in operation. The request includes metadata specifying a data collection sequence for collecting component-level system status data. The components include compute components, network components, and storage components. The method includes obtaining, using the metadata, the component-level system status data by querying protocol-based data collectors in an order, one after the other, as specified by the data collection sequence specified by the metadata. The method includes assembling the component-level system status data into assembled status data and storing the assembled status data in memory and/or a repository.

Abstract: Managing backup copies in a right to delete personal data environment is described. A system creates a revised backup copy by deleting any data that a deletion request ledger specifies for deletion from a backup copy that was created for a data object. The system associates an updating time with the revised backup copy. The system retrieves the revised backup copy in response to receiving a restoration request corresponding to the revised backup copy. The system enables restoration of the data object by deleting any data i) that the deletion request ledger specifies for deletion from the revised backup copy and ii) that is associated with a deletion request time which is subsequent to the updating time.
