Patent number: 10640275Abstract: A dual chamber storage device includes a first chamber having a base and a hollow body for storing a first material. A second chamber within the hollow body of the first chamber has a base, a hollow body for storing a second material, and a neck portion. A dispenser housed within the second chamber has a hollow body, a dispensing tip, and a cutting edge. A cap surrounds the end of the dispenser with the cutting edge, is rotatingly connectable with the second chamber neck portion, and is non-rotatingly connectable with the first end of the dispenser. When the cap is rotated relative to the second chamber neck portion, the second end of the dispenser moves toward the base of the second chamber and the cutting edge pierces the base of the second chamber thereby allowing the second material to enter the hollow body of the first chamber.Type: GrantFiled: June 12, 2018Date of Patent: May 5, 2020Assignee: BIO-TECHNE CORPORTIONInventors: Paul V. Patent number: 10625287Abstract: An anti-loosening emulsion pump comprises a press head, a toothed sleeve, a cylinder and a piston rod, wherein the press head and the toothed sleeve are respectively provided with standing tooth pieces and standing tooth blocks interacting with each other. When the press head is rotated in a locking direction, the standing tooth pieces can move beyond the standing tooth blocks, and when the press head is rotated in an opening direction, the standing tooth pieces and the standing tooth blocks interact with each other, the rotation of the press head can be prevented. The press head of the anti-loosening emulsion pump further includes a press mouth which is movable relatively. The anti-loosening emulsion pump of the present invention can prevent the press head from being open due to such reasons as impact and the like, and can prevent the toothed sleeve from loosening from the opening of the container.Type: GrantFiled: August 21, 2014Date of Patent: April 21, 2020Inventor: Yao Wu Ding

Patent number: 10626589Abstract: A flush toilet comprises a bowl portion including a waste receiving surface, a rim portion formed on the top edge portion thereof so that inner circumferential surface thereof rises essentially vertically, and a shelf portion formed between the rim portion and the waste receiving surface; a water spouting portion for spouting flush water onto the shelf portion to form a swirl flow; and a water conduit for supplying the flush water to the spouting portion. The water spouting portion is formed in the front region of the bowl portion, and a part of the inner circumferential surface of the rim portion is formed in an inward-facing overhanging shape; and the water spouting portion is covered by the overhanging part of the rim portion such that a user cannot observe the water spouting portion when viewing from diagonally forward and above the bowl portion.Type: GrantFiled: August 17, 2012Date of Patent: April 21, 2020Assignee: TOTO LTD.Inventors: Yu Yamasaki, Masaaki Inoue, Masahiro Nakamura

Patent number: 10626560Abstract: A rail heating head includes a vented enclosure and an induction coil. The induction coil is positioned within the vented enclosure. When in use, the vented enclosure is positioned adjacent a lateral portion of a train track rail. To be positioned adjacent to the head, the web, and the foot of the train track rail, a rail-bracing wall of the vented enclosure has a convex exterior surface and a concave interior surface. The induction coil has an oblong, concave shape and is pressed against the concave interior surface. Thus, the induction coil can induce eddy current magnetic fields in the head, the web, and the foot maximizing surface area. The larger surface area results in molecules in a large area being activated and leads to more heat. An eddy current deflecting magnetic shield further directs magnetic fields towards the train track rail.Type: GrantFiled: December 6, 2017Date of Patent: April 21, 2020Inventor: Jeffrey Ross Johnston

Patent number: 10618711Abstract: A tamper-evident closure (101) comprises a first portion (105, 106) and a second portion (102, 104) comprising a window (103) through which a view of the first portion (105, 106) is visible. The second portion (102, 104) is rotated relative to the first portion (105, 106) upon first opening of the tamper-evident closure (101), from a first position in which the first and second portions (105, 106; 102, 104) are in a first relative relation and a first view of the first portion (105, 106) is visible through the window (103), to a second position in which the first and second portions (105, 106; 102, 104) are in a second relative relation and a second, different view of the first portion (105, 106) is visible through the window (103). A locking mechanism irreversibly locks the first and second portions (105, 106; 102, 104) in the second relative relation.Type: GrantFiled: November 29, 2016Date of Patent: April 14, 2020Assignee: Obrist Closures Switzerland GmbHInventor: Allison Weir

Patent number: 10618076Abstract: A condiment dispensing device is provided that, when activated by a user, may expel a condiment from a condiment cartridge secured within the condiment dispensing device. The condiment dispensing device includes a recess at its bottom portion in which a dampener member may be secured. When the dampener member is secured in the recess, the bottom portion of the dispensing device is flat, which results in the device being orientation within a holder in a consistent and predictable fashion. Because the dampener member may be made of a rubber or soft plastic, when the condiment dispensing device is placed in the holder, substantially less impact and noise are created than if the dispensing device were construed entirely made of metal.Type: GrantFiled: January 2, 2019Date of Patent: April 14, 2020Assignee: HUHTAMAKI, INC.Inventors: Stephen M. Patent number: 10589916Abstract: An apparatus includes a box including one or more side walls, each of which defines an inside surface. A bag is disposed in an internal region defined by the box. Drinking water is contained in the bag, the water being non-alcoholic. The bag is adapted to protect the water from contaminants, tastes, and odors, each of which originates from either the bag itself or a source external to the bag. A water-resistant coating may be applied to the respective inside surfaces. When condensate forms on the bag, the water-resistant coating at least resists absorption of the condensate into the one or more side walls. The apparatus may include a spout, which permits the water to be dispensed from the bag for human consumption. In an exemplary embodiment, the water is treated with a sanitizing additive such as, for example, ozone. The apparatus mitigates the environmental impacts of drinking water packaging.Type: GrantFiled: November 16, 2018Date of Patent: March 17, 2020Assignee: REVOLUTION RESOURCE RECOVERY INC.Inventor: Ralph Douglas McRae

Patent number: 10577239Abstract: A material transfer system for storing, transferring and dispensing viscous material, such as fluids and liquids, includes a material containment vessel with an upper region incorporating a motive force and a bottom region with a material ingress and egress opening. A diconical or other shaped force transfer device is located in the material containment area. The force transfer device is an energy transducer when the material containment is filled with highly viscous materials, such as adhesives, sealants, mastics or lubricating greases. The system's performance can be improved by applying a surface treatment to the wetted surfaces of the system to change the physical properties at the fluid/vessel interface.Type: GrantFiled: January 7, 2019Date of Patent: March 3, 2020Assignee: C.H.&I.
