  • Patent number: 11939776
Abstract: A slatwall assembly and related slatwall for covering an existing wall. The slatwall assembly includes a surface profile and a reinforcing profile, at least one of the two being attachable to the existing wall. The surface profile includes a front vertical panel that is positionable with respect to the existing wall to define a gap therebetween and provide coverage thereto. The reinforcing profile is operatively coupled to the surface profile. The material of the reinforcing profile can be stronger than the material of the surface profile for reinforcement thereof when coupled together. The reinforcing profile can be operatively coupled to the surface profile so as to be held together for attachment onto the existing wall. The surface profile can be configured to cover at least a portion of the reinforcing profile, so as not to expose the reinforcing profile when an entire slatwall is assembled from the plurality of slatwall assemblies.

  • Patent number: 11933039
Abstract: A mounting and alignment system for building panels. A mounting bracket comprises a lower component affixable to a building support and an upper component from which a panel can be hung. A bearing assembly between the upper and lower components transfers load from the upper component to the lower component and allows the horizontal position of the upper component and thereby the panel to be easily adjusted. Mullion guides on the sides and extending over the panel top interact with mullion guides on other panels and automatically adjust the horizontal position of a panel as the panel is lowed in place from a relatively large horizontal placement tolerance a smaller placement tolerance required for other interacting structures on adjacent sides of installed panel. After the panel is installed, mullion guides on the adjacent panel sides can be removed.

  • Patent number: 11905701
Abstract: A method and apparatus according to which a blast resistant shelter is assembled. The blast resistant shelter includes first and second structural members, a third structural member coupled to the first and second structural members, a first airway adjacent the third structural member, and a first blast panel pivotably mounted to the third structural member and adapted to pivot thereabout in response to a blast wave. In a first configuration, the first blast panel is detachably connected to a first portion of the blast resistant shelter and prevented from pivoting about the third structural member so that the first blast panel obstructs air flow through the first airway. In a second configuration, in response to the blast wave, the first blast panel is detached from the first portion of the blast resistant shelter and permitted to pivot about the third structural member to permit air flow through the first airway.
