  • Patent number: 10797634
Abstract: A solar panel mounting device can secure solar panels to roof structures. The solar panel mounting device allows for position adjustment lengthwise along a base via a threaded locking fastener. The base being mountable to a roof surface either directly or optionally via flashing. In addition, the height of a platform that can be used to seat one or more solar panels can be adjusted relative to the roof surface. The solar panel mounting device is so structured so that both the locking fastener and the height adjuster can be accessed from above the solar panels. This allows for both position and height adjustment after the solar panels are installed.

  • Patent number: 10738436
Abstract: Embodiments of the present foundation for wind turbine generators comprise four structural members: a relatively long central hollow pier, several arm grade beams, a continued grade beam and a continued shear key. The central hollow pier positions in the center of the foundation system, arm grade beams are arranged evenly in radial direction and extend from the pier to the continued grade beam. Continued grade beam is arranged circumferentially in outer periphery and the continued shear key is built below it. Arm grade beams have a varied section with the far end embedding into ground. The top of the continued grade beam matches the top of arm grade beams, while the continued shear key embeds deeper into ground. All structural members are constructed of cast-in-place concrete reinforced with rebars, and all connections are fixed and rigid. The present foundation uses the ground to shape and form the structural members, no formwork, backfilling and compaction is needed.

  • Patent number: 10724201
Abstract: A method for the construction of an improved tank base. A tank base is constructed for protection against accidental spills and/or leaks associated with a tank battery. The improved tank base comprises at least one part of a suitable substrate, which allows for the adhesion of an elastomer such as polyurea. Polyurea is preferably applied using a spray device which yields an average coverage of about 50-80 mils, and most preferably 60 mils. If more than one substrate is used, one or more substrates can be bound together with a fastening system. Once pressure is applied in the form of weight, the fastening system can be removed, resulting in an improved tank base having at least one seam and impervious to the fluid of the tank battery.
