  • Patent number: 8713471
Abstract: A system and method for providing an intelligent visual data scrollbar position indicator whereby data is organized into a data table of two or more data entries with each data entry having one or more data fields. The data table is displayed to a user in a data table user interface display and a scrolling capability is provided whereby a user can scroll through the data entries in the data table via the data table user interface display and one or more user interface devices. At least one data field of the one or more data fields associated with the two or more data entries is selected as a “data display field” and a portion of the data in the selected data display field is selected as “display data” based, at least in part, on the data display field selected and the rate of change of the data in the selected data display field. Then as the data entries are being scrolled through, the selected display data for each data entry is displayed to the user as each data entry is scrolled through.

  • Patent number: 8694906
Abstract: A cloud computing infrastructure administration system can track use of cloud computing resources by customer, hardware utilization, and geographical location in a unified manner, the cloud may be administered much more efficiently. A cloud computing visualization tool can use the tracked data to provide multiple visualization options to aid in cloud computing management. For instance, usage can be tracked and information displayed on a per-customer, per-machine, per-location, and/or other basis. Thus, administrators can, for example view a particular customer's use of resources regardless of location but also view a location's allocation of resources regardless of customer. The tool can be configured to restrict access by login, and thus customers or other parties other than administrators may view data.

  • Patent number: 8281243
Abstract: The present invention provides a worker with information about work to be paid attention when the work is displayed in the moving image data. Work content for each of steps of the work to be carried out on a product is stored as moving image data in a storage unit. In response to a desired step being selected on a display device, the moving image data corresponding to the selected step is read from the storage unit. Playback of the moving image data is started on the display device. When starting the playback of the moving image data, a time bar where a progress of the playback of the moving image data is indicated by a slider. Attention work is predetermined within the step of the work. An occurrence timing of the attention work is displayed corresponding to the time bar.

  • Patent number: 8261206
Abstract: Computer hardware logic displays a computer-generated geographic map on a video display through the use of a receiving logic and a zooming logic. The receiving ic detects an input signal for initiating a map zoning mode for an initial computer-generated geographic map. This map zoning mode prevents zooming of the entire initial computer-generated geographic map. The zooming logic zooms a user-selected area on the initial computer-generated geographic map, thus generating a zoom window that displays and overlays an enlarged view of the user-selected area over the initial computer-generated geographic map.
