Abstract: A fishing rod holder assembly for securing, transporting and dispensing a plurality of fishing rods is disclosed. The invention herein provides a convenient way to secure, transport and dispense fishing rods from a vehicle such as a pickup truck. The fishing rod holder rotates and tilts the fishing rods to a stowed position to prevent the fishing rods from being bounced around and becoming damaged, especially during transport. The invention lowers the fishing rods to a horizontal position during transport to prevent possible damage to the expensive fishing rods as a result of their sticking up above the profile of a pickup truck and being exposed to the high velocity air when traveling at expressway speeds or becoming entangled with low hanging vegetation or other obstacles while driving down a road.
Abstract: The present invention contemplates a variety of apparatuses for carrying and concealing a weapon holster on a lower leg. A device is provided that offloads weight associated with a leg-carried weapon and eliminates torque forces caused by walking with said weapon. Supplies or alternative weapons can also be carried. The device includes an anterior exoskeleton bracket and, in some embodiments, a foot orthosis. A holster is mounted near the top of the device. The exoskeleton, attaching to the foot orthosis or a shoe/boot, provides ankle support and offloads the weight of the weapon. A variable resistance linkage is integrated into the exoskeleton. The resistance is adjustable for a particular user based on physical condition.

Abstract: An adjustable device for supporting a load includes a belt for fastening about a user's waist. A rod includes two rigid elements. One of the elements is longitudinally slidable relative to the other element so as to adjust a length of the rod. A lower end of the rod is attachable to the belt and an upper section of the rod is attachable to a shoulder harness that is placeable on the user's shoulders for carrying the load. A control is operable by the user when carrying the load to unlock a locking mechanism that, when locked, fixes the length of the rod. When the control is operated concurrently with movement of the user's shoulders relative to the user's waist, the length of the rod is changed to adjust a distribution of a weight of the load between the user's shoulders and waist.
