Abstract: A bicycle carrier rack mountable to a vehicle includes a mounting member configured to abut against the vehicle and a flexible strap coupled to the mounting member, the flexible strap having a free end. A blocker is disposed at the free end of the flexible strap and a hooked end piece is removably coupled to the free end of the flexible strap. The hooked end piece includes a distal end having a hooked portion and a proximal end. A cover has a passage extending therethrough from a first end of the cover to a second end of the cover. The cover is slidably disposed about the flexible strap and configured to enclose the blocker and a portion of the hooked end piece within an interior of the cover. The blocker inhibits movement of the flexible strap through the proximal end of the hooked end piece in the proximal direction.

Abstract: A holder for receiving and releasably retaining ferrous metal ammunition magazines for firearms in a pocket of a garment includes a rare earth magnet positioned in a passage formed centrally through a ferrous metal plate, with the passage having a front end region that is sized to retain the magnet within the passage. A rear opening of the passage is closed by a flat central region of a C-shaped ferrous metal retaining member that has spaced, forwardly extending right and left arms for retaining an ammunition magazine therebetween and in contact with a front surface of the metal plate. An elongate reverse-bent metal clip positioned rearwardly of the retaining member is configured to grip garment pocket material to secure the holder where desired.

Abstract: An ergonomic infant carrier comprises a contoured shell having a non-planar base and contiguous perimeter side wall upstanding from the base. At least one carrying strap which is attached or attachable to the contoured shell is also provided. The base includes a bottom portion, a head portion extending from a first end of the bottom portion, and a foot portion extending from a second end of the bottom portion opposite the first end. The head and foot portions extend upwardly from the bottom portion to meet the side wall, and the bottom portion has a width which is less than that of the head and foot portions. The reduced width enables the side wall to define a waisted portion partway along the longitudinal extent of the infant carrier to accommodate a side of a carer. A method of preparing an ergonomic infant carrier is also provided.

Abstract: An arm band case for portable electronic device is disclosed. The arm band case may be secured to the user with straps and includes a pocket having a transparent window that provides visibility to the touchscreen of the electronic device and a plurality of powered light sources that are configured to illuminate the arm band and thereby provide added visibility to the user when in use. The arm band case is formed of multiple layers that encapsulate the light sources while allowing access to the battery housed therein and while facilitating the transmission and dispersion of light to illuminate the arm band.

Abstract: A system for holding an electronic device includes a body and a connection device for connecting an electronic device to the body, at least a portion of the connection device attached to the body. The system further includes a clip, the clip having a top portion and a bottom portion, the clip attached to the body. The system further includes a cam lever, the cam lever oriented in the body and in communication with the clip, the cam lever having a first position and a second position, the first position characterized by the cam lever not engaging the clip, the second position characterized by the cam lever engaging the clip, and causing the top and bottom portion of the clip to be pushed together.

Abstract: A movable platform system for a cargo bed of a pickup truck includes left and right parallel rail assemblies mountable in the bed and left and right platform supports carrying a plurality of roller bearings that engage two surfaces on each rail. A platform suspended from both platform supports is slidable between a forward and rearward position on the rail assemblies. A locking mechanism connected to the platform support allows the platform to be secured in a forward and rearward position.

Abstract: There is provided a device for securing a compact portable device to an external arrangement and the device includes a base attachable to the external arrangement, a panel, an attachment for securing the compact portable device to the panel, and a movement element movably connecting the panel to the base in a manner such that the panel can selectively be oriented in one orientation to support the compact portable device in generally facing relationship to the base generally and in another orientation in which the compact portable device is not in generally facing relationship to the base.

Abstract: A container and mounting bracket system configured to be mounted to and secured in a vehicle. The container and mounting bracket system extend laterally with respect to the vehicle at a rear of the vehicle when mounted in and secured in the vehicle. The mounting bracket system and container system cooperate to allow the container system to rotate about a spindle at one end of the mounting bracket system such that the container system extends out the back of the vehicle, allowing access to a cargo area of the vehicle.

Abstract: A holder for ammunition and, in particular, to a flexible holder that conforms to curved surfaces especially useful for holding shotgun shells. The holder is a flexible band of separate ammunition shell or cartridge holders which enables the wearer to quickly and easily access the ammunition. The band may be attached to the wearer's arm, belt, or other conveniently accessed location. The band is molded in one piece in a sheet-like configuration and folded to form three-dimensional receptacles and belt loops.

Abstract: A holster system including an elongated backer plate having a plurality of slots, a hinge that pivotally connects a first end of the backer plate to a first end of the cover plate, a resilient lock that releasably connects a second end of the backer plate to the second of the cover plate, an adjustable spacer located between the backer plate and cover plate, the cover plate, the hinge and resilient lock is adapted to accept a range of different sizes of belts worn by a human user and wherein the adjustable spacer may be inserted into any of the plurality of slots to accommodate the different sizes of belts and a police or military holster rotatably attached to the backing plate.

Abstract: A pair of ladder rack assemblies each attachable to the bed of the truck. The pair of ladder rack assemblies are positioned apart from each other along a longitudinal length of the bed of the truck to support opposing ends of the ladder. Each ladder rack assembly comprises of a first support member attachable to the side of the truck. A first swing arm pivotally attached to the first support member, a second swing arm pivotally attached to the first swing arm. The first swing arm can move between a first position in the bed of the truck and a second position extending upward from the bed of the truck. The second swing arm can move between a first position substantially parallel with the first swing arm and a second position substantially perpendicular to the first swing arm.

Abstract: A painting caddy device carries paint and a painting tool in an upright position to prevent spilling while attached to the body of the user. The device includes a mounting panel and a reservoir having a closed bottom, an open top and a perimeter wall extending between the closed bottom and the open top. The perimeter wall has an outwardly flared section adjacent to the open top. The outwardly flared section extends around lateral sides and a front side of the perimeter wall. A pivot arm has a first end rotationally coupled to the mounting panel and distal ends relative to the first end being rotationally coupled to an associated one of the lateral sides of the reservoir. A receptacle extends from the reservoir having an open upper end for receiving a paint brush for storage adjacent to the reservoir.

Abstract: A cargo handling device is disclosed for a vehicle. The cargo handling device comprises a base and a lower track. A traveler and a storage unit slidably engage the lower track between a proximal end and a distal end. A linear actuator displaces the traveler between the proximal end and the distal end. A telescoping actuator is pivotably coupled to the traveler and the storage unit. A contracted length in the telescoping actuator maintains the traveler abutting the storage unit during displacement of the traveler between the proximal end and the distal end. An extended length in the telescoping actuator displaces the storage unit from the traveler upon the traveler positioned at the distal end. The extended length defines a horizontal displacement and a vertical displacement of the storage unit from the traveler for positioning the storage unit adjacent the surface.

Abstract: A portable docking device includes a mounting device that is configured to be attached to a user. The mounting device includes a user attachment mechanism that has a docking area and first ferromagnetic material attached to the docking area. A portable device holder is configured to receive and hold securely a portable device. The portable device holder includes second ferromagnetic material positioned on the portable device holder so as to allow the portable device holder to be securely attached to the mounting device by a magnetic field generated by at least one of the first ferromagnetic material and the second ferromagnetic material.

Abstract: An article carrier is an apparatus designed to transport, protect, and organize a user's equipment and personal items, particularly when spending time outdoors. The article carrier features a backpack as well as a deployable cushioned/padded seat that allows the article carrier to be utilized with existing outdoor equipment such as a tree stand. The article carrier may be mounted to a structure or object such as a tree. The backpack provides a cushioned/padded backrest as well when utilizing the seat. The article carrier features a left wing and a right wing that provide further storage capacity and organization for the user's equipment and personal items. The left wing and right wing may be repositioned and are detachable from the article carrier and may comprise varying numbers and types of storage compartments. The article carrier may be utilized in a compact configuration for compactness or alternatively, in a deployed configuration.
