  • Patent number: 11586739
Abstract: A cyberthreat detection system queries a content database for unstructured content that contains a set of keywords, clusters the unstructured content into clusters based on topics, and determines a cybersecurity cluster utilizing a list of vetted cybersecurity phrases. The set of keywords represents a target of interest such as a newly discovered cyberthreat, an entity, a brand, or a combination thereof. The cybersecurity cluster thus determined is composed of unstructured content that has the set of keywords as well as some percentage of the vetted cybersecurity phrases. If the size of the cybersecurity cluster, as compared to the amount of unstructured content queried from the content database, meets or exceeds a predetermined threshold, the query is saved as a new classifier rule that can then be used by a cybersecurity classifier to automatically, dynamically and timely identify the target of interest in unclassified unstructured content.

  • Patent number: 11562026
Abstract: A method, a system, and a computer program product for accessing data. A data stream including a plurality of data elements is received. A mapping of the plurality of data elements is generated. Each data element is represented by a data node in the mapping. A linked list of the data nodes with starting and ending elements is generated. Each node is linked to at least another node and stores a count of a data element and the corresponding data element. The count represents a number of times the data element is present in the data stream. Each node is positioned in the generated linked list using the count of each data element. Data elements with a highest count are positioned proximate to the starting element and data elements with a lowest count are positioned proximate to the ending element. Data elements are accessed using the generated mapping.

  • Patent number: 11556699
Abstract: A client computing device includes at least one display, an embedded browser that includes first and second browsers, a migration user interface (UI) control and a processor. The first browser is to access a page from a source application for display, and the second browser is to access a form from a target application for display. The processor cooperates with the embedded browser in response to a user selecting the migration UI control to extract data from the displayed page, analyze the extracted data to determine a context of the data, and analyze the displayed form for target form fields. A pattern matching algorithm matches at least a portion of the extracted data to the target form fields. The matched extracted data is migrated to the displayed form as target data values associated with the target form fields.

  • Patent number: 11544326
Abstract: Database systems handle queries represented in different character sets. A database system allows data stored in the same database column to be represented in different character sets. In response to a query, the database system returns query results in the same character set as the received query even though the data stored in the database column is in a different character set. The database system creates and maintains a metadata table that stores attributes of database columns. The attributes of database columns include, among others, a data type, and a collation attribute. By tracking the collation attributes for data stored in database columns, the database system determines whether to convert data stored in a database column when processing database queries.

  • Patent number: 11537575
Abstract: Techniques are described for enabling real-time database performance measurement and tuning in a service provider network. To efficiently test one or more proposed configuration changes to a database in a service provider network, a database service is able to create a replicated copy of the database in an environment that mirrors that of the primary database. The database service then automatically causes database traffic destined for the primary database to be routed to both the primary database and the test database. Once the test database is created and traffic is routed to both databases, the database service obtains performance data by monitoring performance of both the primary database and the test database over a period of time. Based on the obtained performance database, the database service can automatically determine which of the primary database and the test database is exhibiting better performance.

  • Patent number: 11533063
Abstract: Tiers of compression algorithms may be determined using compression information collected regarding compression ratios achieved for data sets using compression algorithms. Each tier may meet specified criteria regarding expected compression ratios achieved for a specified portion or number of data sets. Compression algorithms of each tier may be implemented by a different hardware device that may include hardware accelerators for the algorithms of the tier. Different tiers, and thus different hardware devices, achieve different levels of compression. A recommendation may be provided using compression information collected, such as from one of the hosts, regarding which hardware device to use for compression. The recommendation may be to purchase a license to use or whether to purchase a particular hardware device for compression. Compression information may be collected by a host that issues tagged I/Os providing a hint regarding what compression algorithm to use for the particular I/O operation data.

  • Patent number: 11520754
Abstract: A separate, central server operating in a system including one or more database server machines and a graphical user interface displayed on a user's computer is disclosed and provides a technological improvement. In one example, computer-readable instructions are stored in computer memory on this shutdown control server. A user, such as a database administrator, may access the shutdown control server to initiate the shutdown, reboot, and/or restart of database services on one or more separate database servers. At least one advantage of such an arrangement is that the shutdown control server provides plug-and-play capabilities that may allow one or more database servers of one or more different database types to concurrently connect to the shutdown control server.

  • Patent number: 11513903
Abstract: In connection with a data distribution architecture, client-side “deduplication” techniques may be utilized for data transfers occurring among various file system nodes. In some examples, these deduplication techniques involve fingerprinting file system elements that are being shared and transferred, and dividing each file into separate units referred to as “blocks” or “chunks.” These separate units may be used for independently rebuilding a file from local and remote collections, storage locations, or sources. The deduplication techniques may be applied to data transfers to prevent unnecessary data transfers, and to reduce the amount of bandwidth, processing power, and memory used to synchronize and transfer data among the file system nodes. The described deduplication concepts may also be applied for purposes of efficient file replication, data transfers, and file system events occurring within and among networks and file system nodes.

  • Patent number: 11507570
Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices for scheduling of data processing tasks are disclosed. A method includes performing a modification on a first set of immutable partitions storing database data to generate a second set of immutable partitions. The second set is associated with a modified version of the database data. A change tracking entry is entered in a stream of tracking entries based on committing the modification. The change tracking entry includes an indication of the modification on the first set of immutable partitions. A stream offset of the stream of tracking entries is advanced based on the entering of the change tracking entry in the stream of tracking entries. The stream offset indicates a timestamp associated with a latest committed modification to the database data. A data processing task is scheduled for execution on the modified version of the database data based on the advancing of the stream offset.

  • Patent number: 11500903
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a generic multi-source heterogeneous large-scale data system, including a sync node config unit, an install & deployment unit, a block & pipelining unit, a unilateral sync unit, a bilateral sync unit and a correctness guarantee unit. The system operates on a middle layer which is above a node database layer and beneath an application logic layer. In a data synchronization process, a client end transmits captured local change information to a server end in accordance with a synchronization task plan; the server end receives and transfers the change information to an asynchronous parallel message processing mechanism to be stored in a corresponding message queue; the server end polls a local message queue for reading to-be-processed change information, and then performs subsequent data change in accordance with rules for heterogeneous data mapping, so as to maintain consistence of synchronized data objects between a source end and a target end.
