Abstract: A data storage system allows a user to search a secondary copy such as a back up, archive, or snapshot and receive an abbreviated version of the secondary copy of the file system as a result of the search. The abbreviated version of the secondary copy of the file system may include metadata such as a listing of secondary copy data that correspond with a search term or other filtering criteria provided by the user. An operating system of the user's computing device may mount the abbreviated version so that it can be displayed within a view of the file system of the computing device. Once a user selects one or more desired data objects listed in the abbreviated version, the selected actual one or more data objects are retrieved from secondary storage.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed towards methods and systems for providing relevant video scenes in response to a video search query. The systems and methods identify a plurality of key frames of a media object and detect one or more content features represented in the plurality of key frames. Based on the one or more detect content features, the systems and methods associate tags indicating the detected content features with the plurality of key frames of the media object. The systems and methods, in response to receiving a search query including search terms, compare the search terms with the tags of the selected key frames, identify a selected key frame that depicts at least one content feature related to the search terms, and provide a preview image of the media item depicting the at least one content feature.

In embodiment(s), a search request for television media content can be initiated by a viewer, and television media content that is relevant to the search request can be identified. A plurality of database objects, such as tables, can be retrieved, and relationships between them determined. The relationships are between various attributes of the database objects. A plurality of pathways are determined between at least two target database objects, where the path determination does not consider attribute-level relationship information. After a path is determined, the relationship-level information can be added. A summary of the path, and relationship information, can be displayed to a user. A user can select paths to remove from the display, and can indicate one or more database objects that are required for a valid path, one or more database objects that are prohibited from valid paths, or combinations thereof. A user can select a path, and a query language statement to implement the path can be generated and displayed to the user.

For an update of a content item of a search index of a search service provided by the content management system ranking metrics are calculated using a set of one or more search queries from a collection of search queries previously received by the search service. At least one statistic is computed using the calculated ranking metrics and compared with at least one statistic provided by a statistics history database. Depending on the result of the comparing, the update of the content item is flagged as fraudulent or as non-fraudulent.

Abstract: Methods, non-transitory computer readable media, and devices that more effectively manage snapshots by creating a namespace including files described by stored file recipe objects and each comprising fragments, directories described by metadata in the file recipe objects and each comprising one or more of the files, and snapshots described by stored snapshot request objects. Content of one of the directories are identified based on an identification of corresponding ones of the file recipe objects that existed within the namespace at a specified time. At least one of the files, included in the identified content and existing within the namespace at the specified time, is accessed in response to one or more received requests. A garbage collection operation is periodically performed to delete the recipe objects that are marked for deletion by tombstone objects and are unreferenced by any of the snapshots as determined based on the snapshot request objects.

Abstract: Systems and methods provide multi-version concurrency control of database records with uncommitted transactions. The system and methods may include receiving a query regarding a transaction counter number. When a transaction header identifying data is updated with the assigned transaction counter number, the updated transaction header may be used in identifying data as an instance of multiversion concurrency control information by the received query. A key lookup may be performed, and when the key lookup encounters an uncommitted row for a transaction number, a corresponding transaction header identifying data to identify a data array element to determine whether the transaction number is committed, and determining the transaction counter number when the transaction number is committed. The transaction counter number may be stamped on the row version record when it is determined that the row is committed.

In one aspect, a method includes scoring candidate answer passages. Abstract: A system can provide a visual representation of an inventory of data entities for a distributed computing system. Inventory data including cost and operational data for data entities such as data centers, servers, and virtual machines, can be converted into a format file. The format file can be used to create a tree of nodes and node summaries corresponding to the data entities. A user interface can display hierarchical and isolated views of the tree revealing parent child relationships between data entities within a computing system infrastructure. Node summaries including cost and utilization data can be displayed to reveal how specific sub-costs such as labor and licensing, are driven by data entities in one level of the infrastructure and pushed to respective parent or child data entities in other levels. Views of the tree can be used to determine areas of inefficiency or reduced value within the computing system.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a chatbot with a stance taking. Opinions may be extracted from candidate replies during a processing of conversation, and the extracted opinions may be compared with the stance taken by the chatbot so as to perform selection on the candidate replies and remove the candidate replies which have conflicts with the stance taken by the chatbot. With such technical solutions, the stance taken by the chatbot may be exhibited.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for personalizing a search of a search service. The search service comprises a search index with content items of a search type being used as first search results for first search queries issued by the client application and providing second search queries to be executed for retrieving second search results to be returned in reply to the first search queries. The method comprises using information specifying external content items imported by the client application to amend a set of content items for extracting one or more keywords comprised by the imported external content items. A second search query suitable for retrieving the set of content items being amended with the imported external content items is determined. The determined second search query is modified by adding the extracted keywords as additional search parameters.
