Abstract: A wireless communication network serves a wireless data service to a wireless User Equipment (UE). In the wireless communication network, a network controller receives a service request from the wireless UE. The network controller responsively indicates the service request to a Unified Data Management (UDM). The UDM receives the indication. The UDM identifies provisioned service values for the wireless UE. The UDM retrieves updated service values for the wireless UE. The UDM identifies a set of the provisioned service values that correspond to the updated service values. The UDM generates new provisioned service values by overriding the set of the provisioned service values based on the updated service values. The UDM transfers new provisioned service values to the network controller. The network controller receives the new provisioned service values. The network controller serves the wireless UE based on the new provisioned service values.
Abstract: Pump systems with pinch valves for surgical procedures. At least some of the example embodiments are pump systems including a stationary housing defining a front face. A tube support extends outwardly from the front face for aligning and supporting a first tube and a second tube. At least one pinch member is movable relative to the tube support by a power actuator operably coupled to the at least one pinch member and configured to have three orientations that define: a first arrangement of the pinch member relative to the tube support configured to pinch closed the first tube, a second arrangement of the at least one pinch member relative to the tube support configured to pinch closed the second tube, and a third arrangement of the at least one pinch member relative to the tube support configured to pinch closed neither the first tube nor the second tube.

Abstract: A switch assembly configured to determine when input received from a switch is caused by proper actuation of the switch and should be accepted, or is caused instead by a fault in the switch or in the intervening circuitry and should be ignored and/or reported. The switch assembly optionally includes a logic circuit that is electrically connected to the switch. The logic circuit may provide power to the switch, for example, as a time varying signal, which may then be presented to the logic circuit as input when the switch is properly actuated. The logic circuit may then compare the input from the switch with the signal sent to the switch to determine if a fault is present, or if the switch is operating properly.

Abstract: A computing device obtains settings for a design of an experiment. The settings include a first sample size that indicates an amount of members for a first group observed as part of the experiment, a design quality metric that assesses, based on the first sample size, a quality of the design for the experiment prior to conducting the experiment, and a parameter pertaining to the first group. The computing device also displays first and second graphs of the design quality metric on a graphical user interface. The first graph is displayed as a function of the first sample size and the second graph is displayed as a function of the parameter pertaining to the first group. The computing device also receives a first user indication to change one or more of the settings, and then updates both the first and second graphs to account for the first user indication.

Abstract: This invention provides novel compositions comprising an anti-inflammatory agent and a mydriatic agent suitable for intraocular use, particularly ketorolac or pharmaceutically salts thereof and phenylephrine or pharmaceutically salts thereof, which are free of any buffering agent and yet, surprisingly, maintain stability for significant periods of time (e.g., at least about 3 months). The present invention also relates to a process of preparing such compositions and use thereof, e.g., in combination with intraocular ophthalmologic irrigation solutions.

Abstract: A normally-off HEMT transistor includes a heterostructure including a channel layer and a barrier layer on the channel layer; a 2DEG layer in the heterostructure; an insulation layer in contact with a first region of the barrier layer; and a gate electrode through the whole thickness of the insulation layer, terminating in contact with a second region of the barrier layer. The barrier layer and the insulation layer have a mismatch of the lattice constant (“lattice mismatch”), which generates a mechanical stress solely in the first region of the barrier layer, giving rise to a first concentration of electrons in a first portion of the two-dimensional conduction channel which is under the first region of the barrier layer which is greater than a second concentration of electrons in a second portion of the two-dimensional conduction channel which is under the second region of the barrier layer.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a fluid sealing member and a motor for preventing or reducing chances of fluids and/or substances or products from entering the motor chamber or cavity of a motor and causing damage to the motor's internal components and/or causing the motor to make undesirable noises or sounds. The present invention is also directed to a motor having a fluid sealing member, and to a fluid pump having a fluid sealing member. The present invention is further directed to a fluid pump that comprises a jet assembly and a motor assembly, which comprises a motor. The fluid pump may further comprise one, some or all of the following: a fluid sealing member, a mounting housing member or coupling device, a gasket or seal, a liner (when a liner is not already provided or present), and a driven magnetic disc assembly having a magnetic pole array.
Abstract: A plug connector assembly includes first and second connector housings, a rotary lever, and a slide. The rotary lever has side faces each having a guide path into which in each case a guide pin on the second connector housing is inserted and is displaced along the guide path by rotation of the rotary lever whereby the connector housings move toward one another and electrical contact elements thereof connect. The slide is movable on the second plug connector housing. A driver element of the rotary lever cooperates in a form-fit manner with a driver element of the slide when the rotary lever rotates causing the slide to linearly move. A locking element of the slide is displaced relative to a locking element of the first connector housing when the slide linearly moves whereby a form-fit locking action between the locking elements may be established or cancelled.
