  • Patent number: 11875363
Abstract: A method and system for generating recommendations across multiple product or service domains are disclosed. The system includes a plurality of domain servers for handling user events and for interfacing with users via the Internet, a database for storing the user events, and a recommendation engine. The recommendation engine further includes one or more computer programs containing instructions for collecting the user events across a plurality of product or service domains in the database, receiving a triggering event for recommendations, analyzing the user events to formulate correlations between the user events in the database, and generating recommendations in response to the triggering event in accordance with the correlations between the user events in the database. The disclosure uses user input data from different domains for producing recommendations in any of those domains. The disclosure allows for access to a greater amount of user input data which in turn improves the quality of recommendations.

Abstract: One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods for mailbox-based coupon display are provided. For example, a plurality of email messages stored in a mailbox of a first email account of a first user may be identified, and may be evaluated to identify a plurality of coupons. The plurality of coupons may be analyzed to determine one or more coupon features. User data and/or activity data associated with the first user may be analyzed to determine one or more user features. A predictive model may be tuned based upon the one or more coupon features and/or the one or more user features. A set of scores may be generated for the plurality of coupons based upon the predictive model. A graphical user interface may be controlled based upon the set of scores to display one or more coupons.

  • Patent number: 11790030
Abstract: Disclosed here is a system that can obtain attributes of an advertisement, where an attribute has a continuous value, and a range of acceptable values is uncertain. The system can create a file including contents that when provided to a predetermined function produce a value of the attribute. Based on the file, the system can generate values corresponding to the attributes. Based on the generated values, the system can create the advertisement. The system can obtain a response data to the created advertisement and can fit a multidimensional function to the attributes and the user response data. Based on the multidimensional function, the system can determine next values and next ranges, where the next values and the next ranges indicate an improvement in the response data.

  • Patent number: 11748631
Abstract: Genetic modeling is used to generate new term sets from existing term sets within a population cluster. Term attributes corresponding to a first plurality of term sets are encoded as genes for a computer-executed genetic algorithm. Clients are clustered in categories based on client attributes. The genetics algorithm is applied to a category of clustered clients to distribute the term sets to clients in the category. A first subset of terms sets is removed after receiving, within a first duration of time, a number of client responses that falls below a first threshold. A second subset of term sets is retained after receiving, within a second duration of time, a number of client responses above a second threshold. The second subset is bred using the genetic algorithm and a second plurality of term sets is generated based on the results.

  • Patent number: 11620669
Abstract: Systems and methods for digital coin exchange. A digital coin platform receives a distribution request from an entity server comprising digital multimedia content associated with an entity. Digital coins are created responsive to the request. Each digital coin comprises a first coin associated with the entity and a second coin associated with consumers. The first and second coins are linked via linking information. The first coins are transferred to the entity server. A consumption request including the digital multimedia content is transmitted to a consumer device. Responsive to an indication that the content is at least partially consumed via the consumer device, one or more second coins are transferred to the consumer device. The digital coins and the transferred first and second coins are recorded. The transferred second coins permit the consumer device to perform transactions associated with the entity.

  • Patent number: 11574321
Abstract: Social media content items are mapped to relevant time-based media events. These mappings are used as the basis for calculating metrics based upon the mappings, and ratings of the time-based media there from. Audience response metrics (ARMs) are calculated from the mappings, which provide an indication of audience engagement or response. In addition, ARMs provide information about the virality, depth, and breadth of the response by the viewing audience. The calculated metrics are stored and are used to generate ratings for the time-based media. The ratings may be published in whole or in part, e.g., as part of a ratings system.

  • Patent number: 11562393
Abstract: A self-consistent inception architecture includes a process that integrates online data and offline data to determine an estimated lift (“prior lift”) in the number of unique visitors (UVs) to a website caused by a television (TV) spot airing on an offline medium. The prior lift is used to adjust a UV profile of the website. A baseline thus produced is fitted through an inception process in which a locally weighted scatterplot smoothing algorithm is applied iteratively until a final baseline converges. The baseline from the inception process is used to determine a calculated lift. If the prior lift and the calculated lift are not consistent (e.g., within a threshold), the process is run iteratively until the prior lift and the calculated lift are consistent. The calculated lifts can be used to determine and visualize performance metric(s) relating to media creatives such as TV spots airing in the physical world.

  • Patent number: 11514492
Abstract: In general, techniques are disclosed to facilitate communicating within computer networks. For example, a layer three (L3) router including a service card and an interface card may be configured to perform the techniques. The interface card receives a query from a network that sources communications in accordance with a plurality of models. The query may specify a customer device and one of the sourced communications, and request that the service card select one of the models for the specified sourced communication and the specified customer device. The service card further stores data defining a profile for the one of the customer devices. The service card may also, in response to the query, analyze the profile data for the specified customer device to determine the selected one of the models for the specified sourced communication with respect to the specified customer device.

  • Patent number: 11475487
Abstract: A method for collaborative instantiation of remote session objects and interactive video-based modification thereof includes receiving a uniform resource locator (URL) via a first graphical user interface (GUI). A request is generated based on the URL, and is sent to a remote server. In response to the request, a data object including product data is returned, and the product data is modified, so as to generate normalized product data. A host server causes playback of a video within a second GUI that is associated with a mobile device of a user. A product selection is received at the host server during playback of the video and in response to a user interaction with the video. Normalized product data associated with the product selection is identified, and a message including the identified normalized product data is sent to the remote server to cause instantiation of a software shopping cart.
