The method may further include selecting, using the comparison scores, a reviewed transaction record. The reviewed transaction record may correspond to a comparison score. Abstract: A method of tracking inventory comprises providing a dispenser. The dispenser includes a body laterally extending between a first end and a second end. The dispenser also includes a stopper slidably coupled to the body to move between the first end and the second end and a biasing member coupled to the stopper to bias the stopper towards the second end. A plurality of identifiers are displayed on the biasing member. The method includes securing a plurality of units within the dispenser between the stopper and the second end, and displaying at least one of the plurality of identifiers to a user of the dispenser, the at least one of the plurality of identifiers corresponding to a total number of units in the dispenser.

Abstract: In some embodiments, a counting machine may include a counting area configured to count a plurality of items. The counting area may include a fixed pressure plate, a movable pressure plate, and one or more sensors configured to measure the distance between the fixed pressure plate and the movable pressure plate, and a processor configured to determine the number of items in the counting area by comparing a sampled thickness value to the thickness of the items located between the fixed pressure plate and the movable pressure plate.

Abstract: Images are captured of a customer during a transaction at a transaction terminal along with images associated with items of the transaction and any bags or cart used to hold the items. The images are processed to track any movement and locations of the customer, items, bags, and cart relative to a known location of the transaction terminal. When a transaction payment is required for the transaction and movement is detected in a direction that is moving away from the transaction terminal before a payment notification is received for the transaction, one or more alerts are raised as an indication to staff and/or security systems of a potential in-progress walk-away theft.

Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein include systems and methods for systematic crowdsourcing of geolocation data. Transaction data that includes an identification of a point of sale device and an identification of a payment vehicle used in the transaction can be received. A confidence in a location of the point-of-sale device can be calculated. When the confidence of the location of the point-of-sale device is lower than a threshold confidence, a location of a device associated with an owner of the payment vehicle can be determined. An updated confidence in the location of the point-of-sale device can be generated based at least in part on the location of the device.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for providing a range of prices for a range of predicted performance wall-clock computing times for executing a desired software operation. A user uploads data of a desired software operation to a service provider. The service provider analyzes the data using a resource estimation model, determines resource options, and converts the resource options into a range of prices and corresponding predicted performance wall-clock times for execution of the desired software operation. The user selects a particular price and corresponding predicted performance wall-clock time and requests execution of the selected software operation using the resource option associated with the selected price and corresponding wall-clock time. An opportunity is provided to the user to optimize price based on either a need for more timely solutions or a need to minimize costs.

Abstract: Described are systems and methods for in-facility purchase of items from a single seller when those items are offered for sale by multiple sellers. For example, a materials handling facility may include two or more sellers (Seller A and Seller B) that offer items for sale within the facility. A user may pick items from Seller A and items from Seller B and complete an in-facility purchase of those picked items from one of the sellers, such as Seller B, by payment of the purchase price and applicable taxes to that seller. At a subsequent time, for example when the user exits the facility, Seller B may pay Seller A at least a portion of the purchase price for the Seller A items sold by Seller B as part of the in-facility purchase.

Abstract: Systems and methods of analyzing on-shelf price tag labels and products at a product storage facility include an image capture device that captures one or more images of one or more product storage structures at a product storage facility. A computing device communicatively coupled to the image capture device analyzes the images of the product storage structures captured by the image capture device and detects individual price tag labels and individual products located on the product storage structure. Based on the detection of the price tag labels and the products, the computing device also defines separate product storage spaces of the product storage structure, determines which price tag labels are allocated to which of the separate product storage spaces, and associates in a database the price tag labels allocated to the product storage spaces with the products stored in those product storage spaces.

The feeding table is configured to place at least one item to be sorted each provided with a radio frequency tag. Tag information of each radio frequency tag includes sorting destination information. The first radio frequency tag reader is configured to read tag information, and send the tag information to the control server. The control server is configured to determine sorting destination information of the item to be sorted according to the tag information, determine a target collection container according to the sorting destination information, and send a delivery instruction to the sorting robot. The sorting robot is configured to, in response to the delivery instruction, deliver the item to be sorted to the target collection container.

Abstract: A system is provided for netting obligations between entities of a cycle of obligations. Each obligation specifying a quantity of an item that a from-entity of the cycle is obligated to provide to a to-entity of the cycle. For each entity, the system determines whether the sum of its inventory of the item and the quantity of the obligation on which it is a to-entity is sufficient to satisfy the obligation on which it is a from-entity. When sufficient, the system identifies one or more netting transactions to settle the obligations of the cycle. The system then directs the execution of the netting transactions and settlement transactions to effect and record the settling of the obligations.

Abstract: Examples provide a system for managing inventory updates based on RFID data using product in-scope and out-of-scope rules (PISOS). The PISOS system adjusts on-hand inventory count values for an item upward based on item scan data if the scan data identifies a higher number of instances of a given item than is recorded in on-hand inventory. The PISOS system does not permit adjusting on-hand inventory downward based on the scan data indicating fewer instances of the given item within an item display area than is recorded in on-hand inventory unless a set of PISOS rules indicate the given item is in-scope for downward adjustments. If the item is out-of-scope, no downward adjustments to on-hand inventory are made based on the number of items detected during the scan.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods that may advantageously apply machine learning to accurately manage and predict inventory variables with future uncertainty. In an aspect, the present disclosure provides a system that can receive an inventory dataset comprising a plurality of inventory variables that indicate at least historical (i) inventory levels, (ii) inventory holding costs, (iii) supplier orders, and/or (iv) lead times overtime. The plurality of inventory variables can be characterized by having one or more future uncertainty levels. The system can process the inventory dataset using a trained machine learning model to generate a prediction of the plurality inventory variables. The system can provide the processed in inventory dataset to an optimization algorithm. The optimization algorithm can be used to predict a target inventory level for optimizing an inventory holding cost. The optimization algorithm can comprise one or more constraint conditions.

Abstract: Systems and methods include onboarding services for retailer devices, guest user services for a user device, and operational services provided to the retailer devices and the guest user services for dispatching beverage orders. The onboarding services map retailer inventory of a retail establishment to a standardized product schema. Upon detecting that the user device is within a predetermined distance of the retailer device, the system generates and presents a user preference by performing a rationalized perato analysis on an order history associated with the user device. The order history and the preference are mapped to the standardized product schema. The user device receives a beverage order selection and, in response, the system generates a randomized order image to be presented at the user device and the retailer device. A transaction corresponding to the beverage order selection is executed at a point-of-sale (POS) system.
