Abstract: Systems and methods for using machine learning to dynamically manage product catalogs are disclosed. According to certain aspects, a set of machine learning models may analyze a set of data identifying a product to create or update a data record associated with the product, where the set of machine learning models may include a brand assignment model, a category assignment model, and a tag assignment model. Further, an entity resolution model may refine the data record, which may be organized according to a set of hierarchical data for the product. Additionally, a product catalog may be updated to identify the product according to the set of hierarchical data for the product.

Abstract: The technology disclosed herein enables configuration and sharing of a coverage map which displays asset data. In various implementations, an asset owner provides access to select portions of asset data, such as vehicle performance data, to an end-user. The asset owner configures a coverage map to display the selected data according to the type of asset data to be displayed, the scope of the data to be displayed, and other map attributes. Once configured, a URL is generated which the fleet operator provides to the end-user.

For example, a computing system includes one or more processors in communication with a memory. The one or more processors are configured to receive communication data of a current communication associated with a customer, apply the communication data to an emotion-based indexer as input wherein the emotion-based indexer includes a set of machine-learning models for a set of emotion factors, generate as output from the emotion-based indexer a set of emotion factor values for the current communication wherein each emotion factor value indicates the measure of a particular emotion factor in the current communication, apply the set of emotion factor values to an emotion classification model, and classify the current communication into an emotion state based on the set of emotion factor values.

Abstract: Cameras capture images of shelves/displays having items. The images are processed to identify real-time item counts on the shelves and/or empty or partially empty shelves with less than a configured number of items. Notifications or messages regarding item counts and/or empty shelving conditions are sent through an Application Programming Interface (API) to consuming services in accordance with custom defined rules. In an embodiment, real-time item counts and/or empty shelving conditions are dynamically reported through the API based on on-demand requests from the consuming services.

Abstract: Implementations ingest records across multiple accounts hosted by different service providers and augment the records with metadata. For example, ingesting can include processing the records to identify transactions in the records and to discover additional aspects of the transactions. In some implementations, metadata can be used to augment the identified transactions in the records, where metadata can include a category, a digital receipt, a user tag such as a geotag, and other suitable metadata. The ingesting and augmenting the records can populate a coordination data structure with identified transactions and their associated data elements. These identified transactions can then be queried and a result set of transactions that span the different user accounts can be returned. In some implementations, the transactions can be queried using the augmented metadata, or other suitable pieces of information for the transactions.

Embodiments include selecting weights for the user-level mean, the user-level standard deviation, the global mean, and the global standard deviation based on a total number of the historical invoices of the user. Embodiments include determining an expected range for the value based on the user-level mean, the user-level standard deviation, the global mean, the global standard deviation, and the weights. Embodiments include determining that the value is outside the expected range.

Abstract: A medication inventory system may include a medication tray that includes compartments for storing respective medications. The medication tray may include a boundary wall defining a boundary outline of the medication tray, and the medication tray may have a tray identifier associated therewith. The medication inventory system may also include a user device that includes a housing, a camera carried by the housing, a display carried by the housing, and a controller coupled to the camera and the display. The controller may generate on the display a bounding box overlay image on a live image from the camera of the medication tray, capture an image from the camera when the bounding box overlay image is aligned relative to the boundary outline of the medication tray. The controller may also generate a current medication stocking list of the medication tray based upon the captured image and the tray identifier.

Abstract: Arrangements for haptic feedback control are provided. In some aspects, registration data may be received from a user. For instance, a user may identify one or more devices (e.g., payment devices such as credit or debit cards, mobile devices, or the like) associated with the user. In some examples, the user may also select customized haptic feedback associated with different feedback outputs. After receiving registration data, the computing platform may receive a request to process a transaction. The transaction may be initiated at a point-of-sale system of an entity via the payment device or card of the user. Transaction details may be analyzed to determine or identify a feedback output (e.g., approved, denied, request additional information or the like). Based on the identified feedback output, a feedback output command or instruction may be generated and transmitted to the payment device for execution.

Abstract: The disclosed system and method relate to automatically detecting empty spaces on retail store shelves, identifying the missing product(s) and causing the space to be replenished or restocked. For example, stores may use shelf-mounted imaging devices to capture images of shelves across the aisle from the imaging devices. The images captured by the imaging devices may be pre-processed to de-warp, de-skew images and stitch together multiple images in order to retrieve an image that captures a full width of a shelf. The pre-processed images can then be used to detect products on the shelf, identify the detected products. An iterative projection algorithm or product fingerprint matching algorithm can be used to identify the products. When an incorrect product listing or an empty shelf space is encountered, a message may be sent to the store employee to remedy the issue.

Abstract: A dispenser for hygiene products includes an electromechanical switch that is configured to operate when a hygiene product is dispensed. The action of dispensing the hygiene product causes the electromechanical switch to convert the mechanical energy associated with the dispensing action into electrical energy. The dispenser is configured to use the electrical energy to emit a signal such that the dispenser emits two signals each time a hygiene product is dispensed. A system for monitoring the consumption of hygiene products in a dispenser includes a dispenser as described above and a receiver for wirelessly receiving the emitted signal, the receiver being positioned remotely from the dispenser, and a central computer or server for receiving data from the receiver. A method of monitoring a dispenser for hygiene products is also provided.
