Abstract: A software package comprising a plurality of software objects and package metadata is accessed and used to provide a graphical user interface including a first area in which details about the software objects are displayed and a second area where a user can select a location path, in an analytic cloud tenant on which the package is to be imported. A selection is made of the location path for at least one resource object. The system determines if the package metadata is of a type that includes information about a parent resource object but not descendant resource objects and not ancestor resource objects other than the parent resource object, for each resource object in the plurality of software objects, and if so, recursively identifies a parent object for each resource object in the plurality of software objects. The ancestor hierarchy from the recursively identified parent object(s) is reversed and inverted.

Abstract: Systems and methods for mobile communication platforms are described. In one embodiment, a method for distributing contextual information over a network to a first remote subscriber computer comprises receiving contextual information at a transmission server sent from a data source over a network, storing the remote subscriber's preferences relating to defined communication aspects, configuring the contextual information accordingly, and providing a configurable viewer application to the first remote subscriber for installation on the remote subscriber computer, the configurable viewer application including an interactive graphical user interface for viewing the configured contextual information. In a further aspect, the method includes sending a first encoded short URL for downloading the configurable application in a message to the first remote subscriber's computer.

Abstract: Techniques and mechanisms for monitoring and processing telemetry information of an Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) packet in a network. The IPv6 packet includes an IPv6 header having a Segment Identifier (SID) field, and a function field. According to this disclosure, the function field may include a function associated with an operation for collecting telemetry information of a first node indicated by the SID field. When the function executed by the first node, it may collect the telemetry information from the first node, and export the telemetry information to a collector node. Further, the function may indicate an operation for collecting the telemetry information of a set of paths including one or more nodes, where the telemetry path can be changed dynamically. In this way, each node in the telemetry path may define a new path for collecting the telemetry information.

Abstract: Systems and methods for implementing filters within computer networks include obtaining blocklist data that includes blocklist entries for a network. Each of the blocklist entries includes one or more network traffic attributes for identifying traffic to be blocked. In response to receiving the blocklist data, a filter based on a common network traffic attribute shared between at least two of the plurality of blocklist entries is generated. The filter is then deployed to a network device within the network such that the filter may be implemented at the network device to block corresponding traffic.

Abstract: Domain-based server-selection computer-implemented processes and machines implement an extension of RAFT consensus for leader selection based on patterns of update data proximity. Accounts involved in payment or other transactions are maintained as “sharded” data across data store instances that are split into shards according to their temporal activity. If the domain attributes for a node exceed a threshold and are greater than the other nodes, the node is designated as a leader node and the others are designated as follower nodes. This provides an additional optimization in network performance by introducing insights in normal operations within a domain in a distributed network. If the domain attributes do not exceed the threshold and/or are not greater than the other nodes, a traditional consensus algorithm is used to select leader and follower nodes.

Abstract: A user device configured to operate in a blockchain network includes a communicator; a memory; and a processor configured to: based on a peer-to-peer communication based content being received from at least one of a plurality of external apparatuses constituting the blockchain network, generate, through the communicator, block information related to the received content, store the generated block information in the memory, and transmit, through the communicator, the generated block information to the blockchain network; based on a user command for reporting the received content being received, transmit information on the reported content to the blockchain network; identify, based on verification on the reported content performed by at least one administrator device from among the plurality of external apparatuses, whether or not the reported content corresponds to an illegal content; and based on the reported content corresponding to the illegal content, block distribution of the received content.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems, non-transitory computer-readable media, and methods for dynamically providing a activity dashboard for display within a graphical user interface. In particular, the disclosed systems can intelligently display, within the activity dashboard, insights of digital activity within an application of a child account. For example, the disclosed systems can monitor digital activity associated with recent contacts and groups, contact updates, and digital media items exchanged in messaging chat threads. In turn, the disclosed system can selectively surface one or more portions (and/or indications) of the monitored digital activity in the activity dashboard along with corresponding actionable options available for user selection.

Abstract: A smart gateway device for a first network associated with a building management system (BMS) is configured to discover a physical device and generate a new virtual device responsive to a determination that a device identifier of the physical device does not match any device identifiers in a virtual device registry. The virtual device registry provides mapping between the new virtual device and the physical device. One or more data points of the new virtual device correspond to one or more data points of the physical device. The smart gateway device is configured to receive data values for the one or more data points of the physical device and update the one or more data points of the new virtual device with the data values for the one or more data points of the physical device. The virtual device is configured to represent the physical device on the first network.

Abstract: Novel tools and techniques are provided for implementing service diagnostics and provisioning via a service action guidance engine (“SAGE”). In various embodiments, SAGE may autonomously analyze data to identify any issues with provisioning one or more first services, among a plurality of services, to a first customer of a service provider. SAGE may autonomously identify one or more first automation actions from a plurality of automation actions to address at least one first issue identified based on the analysis, and may autonomously send one or more first instructions to one or more first automation bots, among a plurality of automation bots, to perform the identified one or more first automation actions. SAGE may also generate and present one or more guidance messages to call center users to guide interaction between customers and the call center users, based on analysis data associated with provisioning of services to the customers.

The network device may calculate a first hash value based on the first configuration data and may generate a first operational object based on the first configuration data and the first hash value. The network device may receive a second configuration object associated with the application of the network device and may parse the second configuration object to identify second configuration data. The network device may calculate a second hash value based on the second configuration data and may determine whether the first hash value matches the second hash value. The network device may prevent, based on the first hash value matching the second hash value, generation of a second operational object based on the second configuration data and the second hash value.

Abstract: A method of distributing data in a distributed storage system includes receiving a file, dividing the received file into chunks, and determining a distribution of the chunks among storage devices of the distributed storage system based on a maintenance hierarchy of the distributed storage system. The maintenance hierarchy includes maintenance levels, and each maintenance level includes one or more maintenance units. Each maintenance unit has an active state and an inactive state. Moreover, each storage device is associated with a maintenance unit. The determining of the distribution of the chunks includes identifying a random selection of the storage devices matching a number of chunks of the file and being capable of maintaining accessibility of the file when one or more maintenance units are in an inactive state. The method also includes distributing the chunks to storage devices of the distributed storage system according to the determined distribution.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for acquisition of an Address Resolution Protocol (ARP)/IPv6 neighbour cache at a user plane function (UPF) entity without performing deep packet inspection for every packet that traverses a network. The ARP broadcast/Internet Control Message Protocol version 6 (ICMPv6) neighbour solicitation multicast from any Ethernet client (a user equipment (UE) or clients behind the UE or clients in a data network (DN)) is responded to by the UPF entity itself, by looking up the ARP/IPv6 Neighbour cache built in the UPF entity, irrespective of whether the UPF entity acts as the core Ethernet switch or whether the core Ethernet switch is in the DN. The solution is simplified to always intercept ARP at the UPF entity and respond to it based on a local ARP/IPv6 Neighbour cache.

A social media channel associated with the user is identified, wherein the social media channel includes shared media. A graphical social icon representing the social media channel is generated based on the shared media. A plurality of icons, including the graphical social icon, are displayed responsive to the request. A selection of the graphical social icon causes at least a portion of the social media channel to be rendered with a computing workspace.

Abstract: A network traffic correlation engine monitors inbound and/or outbound connection information received from on each host computer system on a network. Each host device on the network store data logs corresponding to information corresponding to communications sent by the device and received by the device. The network traffic correlation engine correlates connections between different hosts throughout the network. If the network traffic correlation engine identified unmatched outbound and inbound connections, the network traffic correlation engine generates an alert to initiate further investigation and may also provide a mapping of the communications showing a possible start device for the connection and/or a type of access that the connections may now be providing.

Abstract: Embodiments of this present disclosure may include a system that includes a first network device. The first network device may perform an operation according to a device configuration file. The system may also include a second network device that directly communicatively couples to the first network device through a peer-to-peer (P-P) communication network. The second network device may include a backup file of the device configuration file. The second network device may transmit the backup file of the device configuration file to the first network device in response to detecting that the first network device is lacking the device configuration file.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to monitoring network traffic of an embeddable browser displayed by an application executing on a mobile computing device. In some embodiments, a first layer of the application manipulates one or more user interface elements displayed in the embeddable browser. The first layer of the application then detects network requests made by one or more application programming interfaces (APIs) executed by the embeddable browser in response to the manipulating. In some embodiments, the first layer sends to a second layer of the application results of observing network requests. In some embodiments, the second layer of the application displays, in real-time, information corresponding to the results of observing network requests.

Abstract: Systems and methods pattern detection in service tickets are disclosed. According to one embodiment, an analytics computer application may: (1) determine a service ticket threshold for an Information Technology (IT) resource; (2) receive a plurality of service tickets for the IT resource; (3) pre-process text of the plurality of service tickets; (4) identify keyword patterns in the pre-processed text of the plurality of service tickets; (5) group the plurality of service tickets into subsets of service tickets based on the keyword patterns; (6) determine that a number of service tickets in one of the subsets of service tickets exceeds the service ticket threshold; (7) identify an IT component associated with the subset of service tickets; (8) identify users affected by the IT component; and (9) notify the users affected by the IT component of an issue with the IT component.
