  • Patent number: 9362733
Abstract: A dielectric cover system for an insulator supporting a high voltage conductor is molded to fit over the insulator to cover at least a top portion of the insulator and the conductor in contact with the insulator. A bolt through the cover is inserted to a depth to engage a reduced-diameter neck area of the insulator to prevent the cover from being rotated about the insulator during a high wind condition. Other securing devices may instead be used that allow the cover to be freely placed over the insulator and then effectively restrict an inner diameter of the cover at a reduced diameter portion of the insulator, such that the securing device blocks the cover from being lifted off the insulator and rotated about the insulator.

  • Patent number: 9318885
Abstract: A protective sheath device for use in protecting lead wire cables from contamination during use in a hospital or other medical setting is described. A glove-like component having fingers, with each finger intended to protect one lead wire, is placed on a base or mounting piece. The base has extensions that fit within the fingers, and the fingers are gathered to reduce their length. This facilitates placement of a lead wire cable within each finger. Once the cables are placed within the fingers of the glove-like component, the base can be discarded and the terminal heads of the lead wire cables are grasped and pulled to extend the fingers of the glove-like component and to protect a length of the lead wire cables. If the base is a mounting piece, it is preferably retained for later uses and is made of a material such as rubber or plastic that can be sanitized and reused.

  • Patent number: 9247633
Abstract: A drive circuit is laminated via a high exothermic element disposed on a power circuit, and it is configured so that the average thermal expansion coefficient of the side of the power circuit of the drive circuit board may be larger than the average thermal expansion coefficient of the side opposite to the power circuit. Thereby, the drive circuit board will be curved in the same direction as the power circuit board when the power circuit board is curved due to heat generation from the high exothermic element accompanying the operation of the module. Thereby, in a high-capacity module, while attaining reduction in size and weight, reduction in surge, and reduction in a loss, poor junction between the high exothermic element of the power circuit and the drive circuit board can be suppressed and heat generating from the high exothermic element can be more effectively released.
