  • Patent number: 11135417
Abstract: A medical valve which is able to more reliably support an outer peripheral part of an elastic valve body with respect to a housing, and prevent a problem of the elastic valve body becoming dislodged inward. A medical valve includes an elastic valve body with annular grooves formed thereon and a tubular support part formed at an outer peripheral side of an annular joining part positioned between the annular grooves. Inside and outside holding parts engage the annular grooves provided to the valve inside and outside surfaces of the annular joining part. The outside holding part and inside holding part are provided to an opening member, and with the tubular support part, a part projecting inward in an axial direction is sandwiched and supported between the inside holding part and outside holding part.

  • Patent number: 11097058
Abstract: Improved apparatus for use with medication in fluid form, which is particularly beneficial for medications having a relatively high viscosity. The disclosed syringe adapter has an opening that is relatively large, as compared to a conventional needle, and thus affixing the disclosed syringe adapter to a syringe improves syringeability of higher-viscosity medications. When the disclosed syringe adapter is affixed to a pistol-grip or tab-handled syringe, the medication withdrawn into the pistol-grip syringe can be more easily administered from the syringe barrel. In some embodiments, the syringe adapter will be replaced with a needle prior to injecting the medication, while in some other embodiments, the needle is affixed to the in-place syringe adapter for the injection.

  • Patent number: 10918815
Abstract: A probe may be inserted into a body cavity to perform diagnostic intervention(s), therapeutic intervention(s), or both. The probe may be inserted through a body aperture that is naturally occurring or man-made, intentionally or by accident. The body aperture may form a seal encircling the probe so that insufflation retention material may be effectively retained in the body cavity so that an operator can perform the intervention(s). However, there may be leakage of the insufflation material. The insufflation retention device is configured to form an effective seal contactingly adjacent the body aperture and to provide a passageway for the introduction of the probe into the body cavity, such that a diagnostic intervention or therapeutic intervention or both may be performed.
