Abstract: Association means of a logistics system associates authentication information on a user with the package and storing the associated authentication information into a storage means; Instruction means instructs an unmanned aerial vehicle into which the package is to be loaded to move to the location, based on location information on a location of a collection destination or a delivery destination of the package. Arrival determination means determines whether the unmanned aerial vehicle has arrived at the location. Checking means checks whether the user is at the location based on the authentication information associated with the package and on a situation of the location detected by the unmanned aerial vehicle or details of communication to and from a terminal of the user. Movement control means moves the unmanned aerial vehicle toward the user at the location when the checking means confirms that the user is at the location.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing integrated, secure, and verifiable home services, such as delivery of physical items within a home and execution of services within a home, are disclosed. In certain embodiments, the system includes cameras, sensors and locks wirelessly connected and configured to provide information to a server associated with the delivery of items and services. In one embodiment, the disclosed methods track and deliver a package in a secure and verifiable manner through use of a time-limited electronic key. Other embodiments include apparatuses having wirelessly connected cameras that allow monitoring of the status of the delivery of an item or of services.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method and system for booking reservations in a booking system and synchronizing bookings among several booking systems. The system comprises at least one booking system; at least one service provider; a mediator service; a client, and at least one client terminal device that can be a mobile device and that includes a dialogue. The client uses the dialogue to enter information into the system and the mediator receives inquiries and answers from the at least one booking system, the at least one service provider, and the at least one client. The mediator transfers and adapts information between them. The method and system are particularly suited for use with mobile phone users by Small Message Service messages.

Abstract: A system for a dynamic weather-driven seat selection is provided. A computing device receives (i) weather data, (ii) venue data for a physical venue, and (iii) user preferences, the user preferences including preferred sun exposure information for a user. The computing device predicts cloud coverage and available shade for the physical venue, based, at least in part, on the weather data and the venue data. The computing device generates a sun exposure profile for the physical venue, based, at least in part, on the predicted cloud coverage and available shade. The computing device provides a user with a dynamic seat selection for a scheduled event at the physical venue based, at least in part, on the user preferences and the sun exposure profile.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention are directed to methods, apparatuses, computer readable media and systems for obtaining authorization for a plurality of split shipments associated with a single order. In particular, embodiments of the present invention allow a merchant to submit a separate split shipment authorization request for each of the plurality of split shipments. The split shipments authorization requests are linked to the original order using verifiable linking data. The linking data may be extracted from a previous (e.g., initial) split shipment authorization request and/or a previous (e.g., initial) split shipment authorization request. A mobile fuel tanker truck can be dispatched to the vehicle's location when at least one of: fuel service is requested by a user of the vehicle or the vehicle's fuel level falls beneath the fuel level threshold. Fuel service can be requested by a user via a smartphone running an application that enables the monitoring, management, selection, and ordering of fuel service.
