  • Patent number: 10438421
Abstract: A parking status system overlays upon images of a street, a lot, or a garage with representations of parked vehicles the status of any parking space shown in the image. A user retrieves the merged image with the vehicles parking in select spaces through a wireless communications network from the parking management computer system. The user then verifies payment status of multiple parking spaces simultaneously as the user patrols a beat on foot or in a vehicle. The present invention operates upon existing web browsers. The present invention allows a user to select any view within 360 degrees of the user's position in different sizes and while in motion. The present invention refreshes the status of parking spaces and subscriber vehicles at a regular interval. The invention transforms parking space, payment, and subscriber data into parking space status shown in real time to a user.

  • Patent number: 10121287
Abstract: A method for determining a fare for a transport service is provided. One or more processors determine that the transport service is in progress for a first user. A request to share the fare for the transport service in progress with a second user is received over a network from a first computing device of the first user. A confirmation that indicates that the second user is to share the fare is received over the network from a second computing device of the second user. A first amount of the fare for the first user and a second amount of the fare for the second user is determined.

  • Patent number: 10104028
Abstract: A method of processing messages executes at a computing device having one or more processors and memory. The memory stores one or more programs configured for execution by the one or more processors. A first message for a user is analyzed for a structured content element. When found, content from a data source distinct from the message is obtained by executing an associated action. A first message display state is formed for the message comprising a message notification and the content. A messaging application user interface, comprising an electronic message list with a plurality of objects, is updated. Responsive to selection of a first object of the plurality of objects, the first object representing the first message, the user is enabled to toggle the first message display state between first and second display states, the second display state differing from the first by providing direct access to the first message.

  • Patent number: 10089594
Abstract: This invention relates to a system and method for monitoring the cold chain integrity of at least one packet of environmentally sensitive goods. The system comprises a monitoring unit applied directly to the goods packet, the monitoring unit comprising an environmental sensor monitoring an environmental condition to which the goods are subjected to and an optical output device for conveying environmental condition data. The system further comprises a camera operable to capture the environmental condition data conveyed by the optical output device, a memory for storing the environmental condition data captured by the camera and a processor for analyzing the environmental condition data. The use of a camera allows for a very simple, robust and inexpensive optical output device (e.g. an LED) to be used. The arrangement reduces the equipment cost significantly thereby allowing application across a wider range of products and provides greater flexibility and possibility for analyzing the cold chain integrity.

  • Patent number: 10062047
Abstract: Computer program products, methods, systems, apparatus, and computing entities are provided for automated loading and retrieval of items. In various embodiments, items are received at a loading station where identification data may be captured for each item and handling instructions may be generated. In some embodiments, a label having indicia associated with the item may be generated and affixed to the item. The items may then be deposited through an access door into the vehicle identified in the handling instructions. Once the items are loaded into the access door, an automated load/unload device may deposit the item in the appropriate storage location. The automated load/unload device may also retrieve and rearrange items as desired.

  • Patent number: 9947063
Abstract: Methods and systems can automate the delivery of motor vehicle fuel while reducing the need for operator involvement and driving to a gas station. A server with access to a database and in wireless communication with computers installed in a motor vehicle can collect data from the computers including vehicle fuel level and vehicle geographic location. The data can be compared to a fuel level threshold and geographic boundary. The data can be transmitted wirelessly through a wireless network to the database. A mobile fuel tanker truck can be dispatched to the vehicle's location when at least one of: fuel service is requested by a user of the vehicle or the vehicle's fuel level falls beneath the fuel level threshold. Fuel service can be requested by a user via a smartphone running an application that enables the monitoring, management, selection, and ordering of fuel service.
