Abstract: Systems and methods for providing interactive content for display in low-bandwidth communication environments are provided. A system can receive request for a web page including primary content. The system can determine that the end user computing device is communicating with the data processing system via a network connection corresponding to a bandwidth below a predetermined threshold. The system can, responsive to determining that the network connection corresponds to a bandwidth below the predetermined threshold, provide the web page including the primary video content and web page code invoking a low bandwidth advertisement rendering script responsive to the request for the web page. The low bandwidth advertisement rendering script can be configured to cause the client device to receive an ad rendering application and an ad content package, and then render an interactive ad corresponding to the ad content package.

Abstract: A system and method for providing a content feed file for a content file to a content host. The method comprises delivering the content file and the content feed file to the content host, wherein the content feed file comprises one or more policies and the one or more policies direct the content host to manage the content file according to the one or more policies. After the content host processes the content file according to the provided policies, the content owner receives a status report wherein the status report comprises information about actions taken by the content host according to the one or more policies.

Abstract: A secure mobile financial transaction is provided by receiving a list of protection methods from an external terminal over a communication network. A matrix of protection methods corresponding to the external terminal is created based on the identified protection methods. Security-related information is received from one or more trust mediator agents over the communication network. Rules corresponding to the received security related information are retrieved, and at least one protection method is selected from the matrix of protection methods based on the retrieved rules. The selected protection method is transmitted to the trust mediator agents for implementation.

Abstract: Systems and methods for measuring brand uplift in a computer networked environment is provided. A data processing system can assign a first set of device identifiers to an experimental arm and a second set of device identifiers to a control arm. Computing devices associated with the experimental arm receive third-party content items promoting a brand for which a brand uplift experiment is performed, while computing devices associated with the control arm do not receive third-party content items promoting the brand. At the end of the experiment, a brand uplift metric value is computed by analyzing search query logs of the computing devices. The brand uplift metric value is then provided to an advertiser for display.

Abstract: A system for facilitating secure transactions between a purchaser and a vendor is provided. The system might include a purchaser token data capture device for reading token data into the system, an encryption module for encrypting the token data and a network based vendor input form for communicating the encrypted token data to the vendor. The system might further include a purchaser terminal for routing the encrypted token data to a transaction processing network or a vendor for providing payment and confirmation to the vendor of an authorized token.

Abstract: An approach is provided to analyze data center performance. The approach includes analyzing the data centers, with each of the data centers are represented by a plurality of data center records. Available capacity at each of the data centers is identified based on the selected data center's set of data center records. In addition, a current workload currently being performed by each of the data centers is identified. The approach compares the identified current workload of each data center with the identified available capacity at the other data centers. Data centers are added to a consolidation consideration list in response to the comparisons. The consolidation consideration list is further analyzed to select data centers for consolidation or elimination.

Access to social group identification data identifying two or more socially connected consumers and their respective financial data is obtained and analyzed to identify two or more spending and socially connected consumers. Two or more marketing program eligible spending and socially connected consumers who meet defined marketing program eligibility criteria are then identified and registered with the marketing program. Spending data associated with the registered spending and socially connected consumers is then monitored and when the spending data associated with the registered spending and socially connected consumers indicates the marketing program requirements of the social group-based marketing program have been met, the registered spending and socially connected consumers are provided the benefits of the social group-based marketing program.

Abstract: Disclosed is a manufacturing process and feature licensing system for provisioning personalized (device-unique) licenses to devices. The secure system uses a secure key wrapping mechanism to deliver the LSK to LPS. Another feature is that various network communication links are secured using standard security protocol. Application messages, license templates, licenses are digitally signed. The system is flexible, configured to allow multiple manufacturers and to allow various feature configurations via the use of License Template; scalable, as it is possible to use multiple LPS hosts to serve multiple programming stations; and available in that the delegation of license signing capability from CLS to LPS eliminates the dependency on unreliable Internet connections. Redundant LPS hosts provide high level of availability required for high volume license provisioning.

One example develops a campaign having a set of rules at a campaign management system. in addition, a communication channel is established between the campaign management system and a coupon generating subsystem. The campaign having a set of rules is provided from the campaign management system to the coupon generating subsystem via the communication channel. The coupon generating subsystem is authorized to independently generate a coupon based on the set of rules of the campaign without requiring communication between the coupon generating subsystem and the campaign management system.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus for digital content management and distribution are provided. In an example, a method of protecting digital content at a kiosk is provided. The method includes providing a plurality of memory devices, the plurality of memory devices having pre-loaded content thereon. A selection is received from a user. A memory device is selected from the plurality of pre-loaded memory devices that matches the selection from the user. A dock to which the memory device is to be coupled is determined. The memory device is protected with a unique key corresponding to the dock.

Abstract: Techniques for eliminating the need for merchants and acquirers to conduct Payment Card Industry (“PCI”) security audit procedures are provided. Merchants and acquirers can eliminate the operating expenses associated with conducting audits to ensure compliance with PCI Data Security Standards (“DSS”), while at the same time ensuring that cardholders' data remains secure, thus protecting the cardholders from fraudulent transactions. System security is further enhanced through the use of per transaction audits, with the scope of the audit being directly between the Point of Sale (POS) terminal and the payment processing network. PCI DSS compliance can thus be assured on a per transaction basis, as opposed to only ensuring compliance generally for a merchant or acquirer on a periodic basis. Per transaction PCI DSS compliance is assured, while at the same time eliminating the need for merchants or acquirers to conduct compliance audits.

Abstract: A system and method for verifying a digital signature on a certificate, which may be used in the processing of encoded messages. In one embodiment, when a digital signature is successfully verified in a signature verification operation, the public key used to verify that digital signature is cached. When a subsequent attempt to verify the digital signature is made, the public key to be used to verify the digital signature is compared to the cached key. If the keys match, the digital signature can be successfully verified without requiring that a signature verification operation in which some data is decoded using the public key be performed.

Sale events data is obtained associated with one or more sale events being sponsored by one or more merchants. Geographic position data associated with the consumer is the monitored and obtained. The merchant watch list data, the sale events data, and the geographic position data associated with the consumer, is then analyzed to identify matched sale event data representing sale events being sponsored by one or more merchants identified in the merchant watch list data and having sale event location data indicating a sale event location within a defined threshold distance of the approximate current geographic location of the consumer, and/or an anticipated future geographic location of the consumer. Sale event alert data is then provided to the consumer.

A page may include critical content items designated to load earlier than non-critical content items. In instances where there is a delay due to latency in generating or retrieving the critical content items, one or more non-critical content items may be promoted to load earlier than initially designated. By promoting non-critical content items to load during the period in which the loading of the page may otherwise be stalled, overall page load times may be reduced.

Abstract: A support system negotiates secure connections on behalf of multiple guest systems using a set of credentials associated with the guest systems. The operation of the secure connection may be transparent to the guest system such that guest system may send and receive messages that are encrypted or decrypted by the support system, such as a hypervisor. As the support system is in between the guest system and a destination, the support system may act as a local endpoint to the secure connection. Messages may be altered by the support system to indicate to a guest system which communications were secured. The credentials may be managed by the support system such that the guest system does not require access to the credentials.
