Abstract: Videos to be hosted at an asset hosting platform and submitted by an owner of the videos are received. The videos are provided for consumption by users of the asset hosting platform. The historical data identifies a historical popularity of one or more of the videos. Whether the historical data associated with the one or more of the videos satisfies a viewership rate specifying a rate of viewership over a predetermined period of time for the one or more of the videos is determined. Responsive to determining that the historical data associated with the one or more of the videos satisfies the viewership rate, the owner is determined as eligible to participate in a video performance sharing program. A communication for a client device associated with the owner of the videos to invite the owner to participate in the video performance sharing program is generated.

Abstract: An aircraft media projection system is provided with a deployment subsystem having an interface to supply an enablement signal with an identification code, in response to an aircraft maintaining a selected midair position in the atmosphere above the ground. A location subsystem determines the midair geographic location of the aircraft, and a communications subsystem, typically a cellular link, has an interface to receive verification information including the enablement signal, identification code, and geographic location, and an interface to transmit the verification information to a server. In one aspect, the system may include a WiFi hotspot that is available for use by the public at large. A targeting software application permits the selection of the midair position from a plurality of potential midair positions. Each potential midair stationary position may have a corresponding weighted value. In another aspect, the system may include a media projection subsystem to selectively project media.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for generating a proposed bid includes receiving an input generated by a first content provider as part of a bidding process where content providers bid for opportunities to provide content for publication. The input indicates (i) a resource for publishing first content from the first content provider and (ii) a campaign characteristic associated with the first content. The method includes determining a proposed bid for the first content provider based on the input and on historical data from the bidding process associated with the resource. The method includes presenting the proposed bid to the first content provider.

Abstract: Various methods are provided for facilitating access to linked information to GPS or short-range wireless equipped devices. One example method may comprise receiving, via a network, an indication of an interaction between a primary device and a third-party device, the indication comprising at least a first element and a second element, the first element indicative of user identification information and the second element indicative of at least one of a location or a bounded region, determining, as a function of at least the first element and the second element, a data object that upon validation is configured for use a subsequent interaction, and transmitting, to a mobile device, an electronic communication comprising an indication, configured for rendering on the mobile device, of the data object.

Abstract: A mobile media projector system is provided with a chassis, configured for attachment to a mobile platform, having a screen deployment mechanism. A viewing screen is selectively deployable when the mobile platform is parked in a stationary geographic location. An imaging projector subsystem projects an image onto the deployed viewing screen. Typically, the chassis is configured for attachment to an automotive vehicle with a roof, and the viewing screen is deployed over an exterior surface of the automotive vehicle. The system may include a WLAN and/or WPAN access point. A targeting application may select the geographic location from a group of stationary geographic locations, each having a weighted value. A second mobile media projector system includes a chassis configured for attachment to a roof of an automobile having a side mirror. An image projected onto the side mirror is reflected onto a surface such as the automobile door.

The microprocessor runs a software application for delivering an applet application to the networked device and managing the delivery of the applet application. The applet application provides for the display of information on the networked device by an applet. The database stores a first set of information relating to the user, and the memory device includes a second set of information for comparison to the first set of information, and a third set of information for display by the applet. The microprocessor compares the first set of information to the second set of information to determine whether to transmit the third set of information to the networked device for display by the applet.

More specifically, one of the cross-correlations may be as between the top N now-hottest topics being focused-upon by a first social entity and amounts of focus ‘heat’ that other social entities (e.g., friends and family) are casting on the same topics in a relavant time period.

A processor identifies an action the gesture is mapped to. A processor determines whether the user is authorized to complete the action mapped to the gesture detected. Responsive to determining that the user is authorized to complete the action mapped to the gesture, a processor completes the action the gesture is mapped to.

Abstract: An influence system for predicting advertisement impact for audience selection. An advertising probe campaign is operated by sending an advertisement to each entity in a treatment group of entities. A control group of entities which excludes the treatment group entities is selected and no campaign advertising content is sent to the treatment group entities. An influence model is created by comparing features of the treatment group converters to features of the control group converters. An individual frequency cap is selected for each entity that is a candidate for the advertising campaign based on a result of applying the influence model to the features of the candidate entity. The entity may be selected to receive an advertisement based on the individual frequency cap. Some embodiments are integrated with a real time bidding (RTB) exchange and a bid response may be configured based on the results of applying the influence model.

An influence model is created for each campaign by comparing features of the treatment group converters to features of the control group converters. A campaign is selected for an opportunity to expose a specified entity to advertising based on the result of applying each respective campaign's influence model to features of the specified entity.

Abstract: A system and method are provided for a pedestrian thoroughfare portable media projection kiosk. The method provides a portable kiosk chassis located in a pedestrian thoroughfare. A media projection subsystem attached to the kiosk projects a media message and creates a media enablement signal. The media message may be a visual display, an audio broadcast, or both. The method verifies that media has been projected in response to receiving a media enablement signal. Verification information is supplied that includes the media enablement signal, and the verification information is communicated to a server. The verification information may be communicated using a cellular telephone, an IEEE 802.11 Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) device, an IEEE 802.15 Wireless Personal Area Network (WPAN) device, or combinations thereof. Alternatively, or in addition, the kiosk may provide a publically accessible cellular telephone booster, a WLAN access point (AP), WPAN AP, or combinations thereof.
