Abstract: A cap for a tubular balm dispenser is disclosed. The cap includes a base portion and a sidewall. The sidewall extends perpendicularly from the base portion and defines a recess for receiving a tubular balm dispenser. The cap is open at one end opposite the base portion. The cap is formed from an elastomeric material. The sidewall has an inner sidewall surface removably attachable to the dispenser and configured to resist rotation of the tubular balm dispenser relative to the cap; wherein the elastomeric material provides a friction between the tubular balm dispenser and the cap when the tubular balm dispenser is inserted into the recess and seated against the base portion.

Abstract: A personal care system or fluid supply system with components specifically designed and arranged to speed up the process of initially priming an applicator of the personal care system with a fluid. The personal care system may include a personal care implement having an applicator and a fluid supply system disposed within the personal care implement. The fluid supply system may include multiple reservoirs, both filled with a fluid, and one of which has an absorbent member disposed therein. A first capillary member may extend from one of the reservoirs to the applicator and a second capillary member may extend from the reservoir with the absorbent member therein to the applicator. The fluid may travel faster along the second capillary member to speed up the priming process.

Abstract: A cosmetic package for applying a composition including a cosmetic, care or pharmaceutical composition onto the keratinous substrate such as skin, lips, under eyes, eyelids, cheeks, or any other part of the body. The cosmetic package comprises a cosmetic container and a cosmetic dropper coupled to the cosmetic container. The cosmetic dropper further comprises a massage ball, a bulb portion, a cap and a pipe. The massage ball is made of a heat transfer material to transfer the heat or cold on contact with the keratinous substrate of a user.

Abstract: A multi-unit cosmetic applicator comprising; a body have a first end and a second end, wherein the first end has a threaded opening to a first internal compartment and the second end has an opening to a second internal compartment, a threaded cap with a brush sized to interface with the threaded opening, a first cosmetic agent housed within the first internal compartment and designed to interface with the brush, a cosmetic agent, a mechanism integrated into the opening of the second internal compartment, wherein the mechanism is able to independently advance the second cosmetic agent, a first cap sized to fit over the opening and secure to the body, wherein the cap has a brush secured to a top, and a second cap sized to fit over the brush and secure to the first cap.

Abstract: The device for packaging and applying a product, notably a liquid cosmetic product, comprises a container delimiting an internal reservoir for storing said the product, and comprising an opening providing access to the reservoir, a closure member mounted removably on the container so as to move between a position in which the container is closed and an open position, and a member for applying the product. The closure member bears the application member. The container internally comprises a narrowing of the section delimiting the opening providing access to the internal reservoir of the container. The application member extends at least in part through the access opening, sealing the said opening closed when the closure member is in the closed position, the application member being situated outside the container when the closure member is in the open position.

Abstract: A rotary cosmetic container includes an upper cover, an inner cover, a cartridge assembly, and a lower cover, which are arranged coaxially. The interior of the lower cover is vertically hollow, and the lower cover includes an upper end opening and a lower end opening. An internal thread is provided on the inside of the upper cover, and at least one first protrusion is provided on the outside of the inner cover. When the inner cover is placed in the upper cover, the first protrusion is engaged in the internal thread. When the upper cover rotates around the lower cover axially, the first protrusion is driven by the internal thread to drive the inner cover and the cartridge assembly to move up and down, so that the cartridge assembly retracts into or protrudes out of the lower end opening of the lower cover.

Abstract: Medical adhesive applicators are disclosed which allow medical adhesives to have long storage life and be easily dispensed in a controlled manner. In one embodiment, the applicator has a frangible glass vial with the medical adhesive. The frangible glass vial is held in a plastic enclosure with a dispensing tip. Attached to the plastic enclosure is a squeeze tube capable of imparting air pressure into the enclosure. In another embodiment, the applicator has a proximal chamber containing medical adhesive, a distal chamber for dispensing medical adhesive and one or more rupturable membranes between them. In another embodiment, an applicator pad is sized to retain the total volume of adhesive and initiator so that, in use, the entire volume of adhesive liquid is first loaded into the pad. So loaded, the adhesive and initiator mix evenly to provide an adhesive layer that cures puddle-free.

Abstract: A highly concealable handheld tactical pen weapon having the appearance and aesthetics of a pen-like instrument but which contains a hinging element which allows a rear ring-like element to rotate up to almost one hundred eighty degrees to the main body of the pen. The articulating ring provides a finger hold which allows the weapon to be used more effectively in a thrusting movement.

Abstract: A four color multi-pencil capable of one-handed operation is presented. Each color is contained in a cartridge assembly and each cartridge assembly may be individually selected for use and the material within the cartridge advanced for dispensing by means of a single pressing motion. The multi-pencil is designed to be a “snap together” assembly. No fasteners or adhesives are required. The multi-pencil contains a main body and a barrel. Housed within the barrel are a plurality of cartridge assemblies. Housed within the main body are a plurality of slide members for actuating the cartridges. Each cartridge assembly contains a mechanism for advancing drawing material or material to be dispensed.

Abstract: A toothbrush device having a body defining a cavity and an input port disposed on the body in fluid communication with the cavity. The input port permits brushing by-products to pass through the input port and into the cavity while restricting passage of the brushing by-products outward from the cavity. In one form, the toothbrush device includes an elongated handle with a reservoir having at least a portion disposed within the handle. The reservoir is sized to hold a predetermined amount of oral care product, and a mouthpiece is in fluid communication with the reservoir to discharge the oral care product from the reservoir.

Abstract: In a pencil lead manufactured through a baking step regardless of being a black lead or a colored lead, the mechanical strength of the pencil lead is further increased by coating a surface thereof with a resin. A pencil lead includes a baked lead body whose surface is covered by a covering layer made of resin that has a scratch hardness of HB or greater. The scratch hardness of the resin as a subject resin is defined as a lowest hardness index of a tester pencil that is able to form an indentation on a surface of a horizontal flat plate coated with a 5-?m thick film of the subject resin, when the surface is scratched by the tester pencil being pressed onto the surface at an angle of 45° with a load of 7.355 N.

Abstract: An applicator used for evenly spreading a cream from a tube to which the applicator is attached. The applicator has a base unit that fits over the opening in the tube of cream and directs the cream through a hole in applicator unit, which is the upper part of the invention. The applicator unit has a spreader, which evenly distributes the cream onto a non-planar surface. The spreader is made from flexible, resilient material, and has a tip and wings that emanate out from the hole in the top of the spreader. When the applicator is used to spread cream in a crevice, the tip retains any excess cream behind it, and the wings bend back and evenly spread the cream along the sides of the crevice. The wings have side bevels that remove any sharp edges on the wings.

Abstract: Cleaning tools for cleaning toilets, particularly the interior of a toilet bowl, where bleach is provided within the cleaning tool itself, e.g., in a disposable, single use cleaning head. The tool may include a handle, a cleaning head attachable to the handle, a nonwoven material having an exterior surface and an interior surface, and a solid cleaning composition stored adjacent to the interior surface of the nonwoven material. The solid cleaning composition includes solid bleach, and may also include a solid surfactant. The cleaning composition may be confined within the nonwoven material (e.g., in a pouch), but upon contact with water, dissolved cleaning composition is able to migrate through the nonwoven material, through a scrubbing layer, and be delivered to the surface being cleaned. Release may achieve at least a 3-log reduction in Staphylococcus aureus within 5 minutes.

Abstract: A combination of a container made out of rolled laminated plastic or rolled laminated metal, combined with a child-resistant locking assembly between the container and a cap removably affixed to the container. The container includes a closed rear end, a front wall and a flexible sidewall between the closed rear end and the front. The cap includes a central post inserted into a dispensing opening in a dispensing nozzle of the contain to reduce the possibility of contents in the container seeping out of the dispensing nozzle after the sealing cap is affixed to the nozzle.

Abstract: A hand-held applicator includes a first applicator layer adjacent a first reservoir and a finger-receiving space for holding the applicator. When the first applicator layer is external facing, the fill material is dispensed outside the applicator and when the first applicator layer faces into the finger receiving space the fill material is dispensed into the finger-receiving space and applied to the finger or fingers in the finger-receiving space. The applicator may further include a second applicator layer adjacent a second reservoir and opposite the first applicator layer and first reservoir to securely store and dispense a second amount of the fill material. Reservoir access layers separate applicator layers and reservoirs, transform between a first, closed position where the fill material is securely stored in a reservoir and a second, open position where fill material is dispensed from a reservoir through an applicator layer.

Abstract: The invention is a lipstick container assembly that houses a plurality of lipsticks. Specifically, the disclosed assembly includes a housing and a lid. The interior of the container includes a plurality of lipsticks that can be advanced from the container via a slide as desired by the user. Particularly, a desired lipstick color can be selected by the user. The corresponding compartment slide can be moved in an upward direction along a groove to elevate the desired lipstick from an outlet in the lid. The lipstick can then be applied as needed by a user. When the slide is manipulated in a downward direction, the lipstick is reverted into the container interior for storage.

Abstract: The spray mop includes a handle having a mop head at its lower end and a grip at its upper end. The mop includes a receiver adapted to hold an inverted bottle of cleaning solution, as sold at retail with an attached sprayer. The mop includes an adapter that is screwed onto the bottle of cleaning solution after the original sprayer is removed, whereby the bottle of cleaning solution can be inverted and inserted into the receiver. A spring-loaded retainer securely holds the bottle of cleaning solution in the receiver so that if the mop is dropped, inverted, or bumped there will be no leakage, while a trigger on a handgrip at the upper portion of the mop handle activates a valve in the adapter whereby cleaning solution is dispensed through a spray nozzle at the lower portion of the receiver.

Abstract: An oral care implement and a method of forming the same. In one aspect, the invention can be an oral care implement having a handle and a head. The head has a basin cavity formed therein which has an open top end. An aperture is formed into the basin cavity that forms a passageway to an outer surface of the head. An applicator is positioned within the basin cavity so that a portion of the applicator protrudes through the aperture. The oral care implement also includes a head plate with a plurality of tooth cleaning elements mounted thereon. The head plate is coupled to the head and encloses the open top end of the basin cavity.

Abstract: Cosmetics packaging and applicators are described. The cosmetic applicator includes a main body portion having a protrusion. The main body portion includes a product delivery passageway and an applicator having a rounded application surface coupled to the protrusion. The applicator has an opening for dispensing the product and is formed from a thermal storage material. The applicator may be a ball.

Abstract: A refill lipstick cartridge that prevents or avoids operation of the dispensing mechanism for the lipstick until the cartridge has been secured into the lower case of a lipstick case. The refill lipstick cartridge has a locked or non-functioning configuration, in which the lipstick cannot be dispensed from the refill lipstick cartridge until the refill lipstick cartridge is installed into the lower case of the lipstick case, and an unlocked or functioning configuration when installed into the lipstick case, in which the dispensing mechanism for the lipstick can function to both extend from the lipstick bullet, and retract the lipstick bullet into, the lipstick case, typically manually under the control of the user of the lipstick product. A locking mechanism that employs either friction or mechanical locking elements is manipulated to position the refill lipstick cartridge between the locked configuration and the unlocked configuration.
