Abstract: A pre-packaged paint sample includes a sealed package, paint sealed within the package, and a new paint applicator sealed within the sealed package. For use, the package is shook to apply the paint to the paint applicator. The sealed package is opened, and the paint applicator is removed from the package. The paint applicator and used to apply the relatively small amount of the paint t. The pre-packaged paint sample can be useful in applications where only a small amount of paint is needed such as, for example but not limited to, paint sampling, paint touch up, and the like.

Abstract: A surface cleaning apparatus, such as a fluid delivery or steam mop, comprises a handle assembly comprising a steam distributor and a foot assembly pivotally attached to the handle assembly and comprising a base housing. The foot assembly can be used in two positions, whereby opposing sides of a cleaning pad on the base housing can selectively engage a surface to be cleaned. The foot assembly is further swivelable relative to the steam distributor, such that fluid can be delivered to the surface to be cleaned in both of the two use positions.

Abstract: A lip balm applicator product comprises upper and lower portions that are connectable together to define the applicator product being of a substantially spherical shape. A support platform is located in the lower portion and accommodates a quantity of lip balm having an arcuate surface. A lip balm comprises a composition of waxes and oils in solid form and formed to have an arcuate surface. The composition is formed to have the arcuate surface using a hot pour process. A method of manufacturing a lip balm comprises providing a receptacle having a concave arcuate surface. A lip balm material in a heated, liquefied phase is poured into the receptacle. Once poured, the heated, liquefied phase is allowed to solidify such that a surface of the solidified lip balm material has an arcuate configuration that corresponds to the concave arcuate surface of the receptacle.

Abstract: A direct-liquid writing instrument includes a penholder, an ink feeder and a nib. One end of the penholder is provided with a writing portion, and the other end of the penholder is provided with an ink storage portion. The nib is partially inserted into the writing portion. The direct-liquid writing instrument also includes a first baffle and a second baffle that are spaced apart from each other to form an air barrier layer. The first baffle is in contact with the ink of the ink storage portion, and the second baffle is adjacent the writing portion. Additionally, the first baffle is provided with a first air-guiding channel, and a second air-guiding channel is provided between the second baffle and the ink feeder. The ink feeder passes through the first baffle, the air barrier layer, and the second baffle to deliver the ink to the nib.

Abstract: A paint applicator, kit and methodology for using the same is disclosed. For example, a paint applicator that allows a user to load a desired amount of paint, such as a water based or other low VOC paint, into the paint applicator and an advancement mechanism that dispenses paint at a rate controllable by the user is disclosed. The advancement mechanism can include a system that translates a rotational force applied to an end cap of the applicator into a linear force that advances a piston which in turn applies paint to an applicator portion. The paint applicator may be reusable or may include a ratchet system that allows for only one-time use. The methodology and kit can incorporate a syringe for loading paint into the paint applicator, thus reducing the loss of paint through spilling.

Abstract: A device configured to facilitate the application of a liquid solution to the surface of the skin of a user via a series of stone and/or crystal roller balls. The apparatus is equipped with several roller beads which are in contact with the solution. The solution is preferably housed within a container, and the roller beads are incorporated into a head and/or end of the container. The stone rollers ensure that the solution is applied evenly via multiple rolling points to deliver the solution to the skin from underneath the roller beads. Stone/crystal employed in the creation of the rollers is preferably rose quarts or jade, although other minerals may be used.

Abstract: A fluid delivery apparatus including a reservoir containing at least one fluid. A capillary channel extends from the reservoir to deliver the fluids stored in the reservoir through one or more fluid outlets via capillary action. In one embodiment, an applicator formed of a capillary material is located within the outlet. A variety of fluids can be administered for therapeutic, hygienic, and/or other benefits. In one aspect, the apparatus includes a housing defining a reservoir; at least one fluid stored in the reservoir; and a capillary channel in fluid coupling with the at least one fluid, the capillary channel including a first capillary member and a second capillary member that circumferentially surrounds the first capillary member such that the first and second capillary members are concentric.

Abstract: A dual end container for products such as cosmetics provided. Specifically, a dual end container with a compact, integrated mechanism for selectively extending and retracting a first product or applicator without movement of a second product or applicator is disclosed. The dual end container includes a first cup, a second cup, which is at least partially housed within the first cup, and a driving member assembly, which includes a first driving member and a second driving member, between the first cup and the second cup. The first cup has a first male thread, the second cup has a second male thread, the first driving member has a first female thread, and the second driving member has a second female thread. The male threads interact with the corresponding female threads to extend and retract the corresponding cups.

Abstract: A lip balm applicator assembly for applying lip balm without touching the lip balm includes a canister that contains a viscous lip balm. The canister has a storage compartment integrated therein and the storage compartment is fluidly discrete from an interior of the canister. A lid is removably coupled to the canister for closing the canister. An applicator is slidably positioned in the storage compartment for storage. The applicator is dipped into the viscous lip balm in the canister to apply the viscous lip balm to lips without requiring the viscous lip balm in the container to be touched. In this way the applicator reduces transfer of bacteria to the viscous lip balm in the container.

Abstract: A writing instrument for primary use within carpentry a body that extends from a distal end to a proximal end having a marking tip. The body has a substantially round cross-sectional shape and the marking tip is offset from a center of the cross-sectional shape. The round shape can non-uniform, such as ovular or egg-shaped with the marking tip offset from the center of at least the length or the width thereof. The offset positioning of the marking tip relative to the outer surface of the body provides clearance to scribe a building material.

The most convenient and effective method for removing pathogens from the hands whether at home or outside the home. The head has a basin cavity formed therein which has an open top end. An aperture is formed into the basin cavity that forms a passageway to an outer surface of the head. An applicator is positioned within the basin cavity so that a portion of the applicator protrudes through the aperture. The oral care implement also includes a head plate with a plurality of tooth cleaning elements mounted thereon. The writing instrument may comprise one or more master reservoir, one or more slave reservoir, one or more slave reservoir gate and one or more master reservoir gate. The slave reservoir may have reducing cross-section, facilitating fluid flow towards nib of the writing instrument. The slave reservoir gate may comprise at least one of blocking element, blocking element seat, one or more gates, one or more covers and a combination thereof. The slave reservoir gate provides a connection between the master reservoir and the slave reservoir. Further, the blocking element rests over the blocking element seat due to gravity, restricting return flow of the fluid to the master reservoir. The master reservoir gate facilitates clean, easy and fast refilling of master reservoir using fluid container or fluid nozzle without the need of opening the master reservoir cap.

The method further includes directing the laser beam to move along the path to irradiate the deposited material (23) to provide a conductive track along the path. A selected orientation of the energy distribution within the cross-sectional area is aligned with the direction of movement of the laser beam.
