Abstract: A personal care brush includes a brush head portion and handle portion with an exposed groove for receiving a first container that stores one to six doses of a facial or oral care product. The groove leads to a channel that runs through the brush head to an opening at a bristle frame side of the brush head. A pushing member is manually advanced along the groove to push product from the first container into the channel and out through the opening. A member located at a backside of the brush head is movable relative to an axis of the toothbrush. The member has a first position for personal care applications and a second position for facilitating exposure of the channel for channel cleaning.

Abstract: An applicator having an upper cap with a base having a first tubular member and a feed tube, a free end of which extends from the base, and an opposite end adapted to engage a container valve such as an aerosol can. The applicator includes a lower cap having a second tubular member adapted to be removably attached to the container. The upper cap is attached to the lower cap such that the first tubular member is slidably inserted into the second tubular member. The upper cap is movable relative to the lower cap from a first position, in which the feed tube free end is disengaged with the valve, and a second position, in which the opposite end of the feed tube is engaged with the container valve and pushes it to an engaged position such that container contents are released through the feed tube.

Abstract: Discharge ports of liquid floor finish applicators are known to clog if proper steps are not taken immediately after use. Complicating this clogging problem are the facts that floor finishes are formulated to dry quickly when exposed to air and applicator cleaning creates waste and takes considerable time and effort. Accordingly, applicant's invention addresses the problem of clogging by using a liquid reservoir to enclose the applicator's discharge port thus preventing it from clogging when not in use. To illustrate applicant's invention, a backpack floor finish applicator system dispenses liquid floor finish through a hose and a pump that forces the finish through a nozzle onto the floor. The invention uses a non-contact switch that activates a light which alerts the operator when the nozzle is exposed to air which will cause clogging thereby reminding the operator to position the nozzle within the liquid reservoir when not in use.

Abstract: An applicator includes a closure cap including inner retaining members; an application head including a housing, a support, and a coupling member wherein the housing includes an axial channel with the support substantially disposed therein, an inclined surface having an application face and holes, and roller-balls disposed in the holes respectively; the support includes a stair adjacent to the holes, and the coupling member includes a neck member at a first end and being urged against the support, an internally threaded member adjacent to a second end and disposed through the neck member, a mating retaining member disposed on an outer surface of the neck member between the inclined surface and the internally threaded member, the mating retaining member being secured to the retaining members; and a container assembly including an externally threaded neck at one end and threadedly secured to the internally threaded member.

Abstract: An applicator and dispensing device adapted to enclose a solid product within a holder which is enclosed by an outer shell. The outer shell can rotate relative to the holder via a hinge and then push a support cup that contains the product along a channel and through an orifice in the holder, thus exposing the product for use. In an embodiment, the holder contains an indentation or hole that locks with a corresponding peg located the outer shell when closed. In an embodiment, the holder and outer shell are prevented from moving longitudinally relative to one another by virtue of configuring the lower position of the guideway such that it beneficially locks with the guide when the device is in a closed position.

Abstract: In an assembly device between an applicator assembly and a head of a bottle, the applicator assembly includes at least two sub-assemblies of parts, a first sub-assembly referred to as an outer sub-assembly, and a second sub-assembly referred to as an inner sub-assembly. The inner sub-assembly is mobile in translation in the outer sub-assembly, along a main direction combined with the main longitudinal extension direction of the outer sub-assembly, along a course limited by a blocking member. The blocking member is in an embedded connection with the outer sub-assembly.

Abstract: An integrated highlighting marker includes a multi-component marker ink comprising a base colorant and a tinting colorant. The marking system also includes a highlighting component configured to transform the base colorant from a first colored state to a second colored state based on the tinting colorant. The highlighting component may be configured to transform the primary base colorant from a colored state to a transparent state to reveal the tinting colorant.

Abstract: A fluid supply apparatus with leakage protection. The apparatus includes a housing defining a storage cavity having a total volume including a fluid portion and a gas portion. The storage cavity extends along a cavity axis from a first end to a second end. A capillary member is fluidly coupled with the fluid. A vent tube having a primary vent passageway and a plurality of vent apertures is located in the storage cavity. The primary vent passageway forms a pathway from the vent apertures to the external atmosphere. Fluid cannot flow through the vent apertures at ambient temperature and pressure equilibrium. The vent apertures may be located and arranged on the vent tube such that irrespective of vertical and angular orientation of the housing relative to a gravitational vector at least one of the vent apertures is in spatial communication with the gas.

Abstract: A finger fitting-type makeup tool includes: a container where an eyelash cosmetic material is received and is open at an upper end thereof; an application unit coupled to the upper end allowing a user to fit their finger thereinto to apply the cosmetic material; and a middle unit for detachably coupling the application unit to the container. The application unit includes: a finger fitting part which provides a fitting space where a user can insert his/her finger from above; an outer tube which surrounds the circumference of the finger fitting part and is open at an upper side thereof; an elastic support part fixed to an inner surface of the finger fitting part; a stick extending downward from one point of the inner space of the outer tube; and a brush arranged on an end portion of the stick to be usable for dipping and applying of the cosmetic material.

Abstract: A nail polish removal kit includes a bottle, a removable lid on the bottle, a wand extending from the lid into the bottle, and one or more flexible daubers. The bottle has an upper portion having a first diameter, a lower portion having a second diameter that is larger than the first diameter, and a neck portion between the upper portion and the lower portion. The neck portion has a diameter that is less than the diameter of the upper portion and the diameter of the lower portion. A tubular passageway with a constant diameter is provided within the neck portion. The wand has a free end with an opening extending therethrough.

Abstract: A blotting and lipstick system in a single component wherein one end comprises a lipstick and the other end comprises a blotter. The blotting and lipstick system in one device provides a convenient way for a user to apply a beautifying cosmetic to the lips and then blot the lipstick to prevent the lipstick from getting on the teeth of the user. Both the lipstick and the blotter have a rotating mechanism whereby they can be raised or lowered for convenience.

Abstract: A dispenser includes a depressible thermal tip and a housing having a reservoir for containing a product, such as a cosmetic product or a medicinal product. The depressible thermal tip comprises a thermal applicator displaceable between open and closed positions. The thermal applicator may be depressibly coupled in a collar fixed to the housing, or the thermal applicator may be depressibly coupled in a button depressibly coupled in a collar fixed to the housing.

Abstract: A personal care device includes a handle including a head supporting a personal care implement, a cradle longitudinally extending from the head to a proximal extremity open to the cradle, an elongate opening open to the cradle and extending longitudinally between the head and the proximal extremity and defined by mutually respective longitudinal edges, and a container extending longitudinally through the cradle. The container is deformable and a longitudinal part of the container extends laterally outward from the cradle through the elongate opening beyond the longitudinal edges. The container includes a dispensing opening proximate to the proximal extremity that is normally closed by a closure. In another embodiment, the container is coupled in fluid communication to the personal care implement.

Abstract: A particulate-incorporating attachment for a drop spreader is provided that includes a two-portion mount bracket, an implement holder, and a rake/brush and optionally includes wheels. The bracket portions are connected to form a mount bracket over the rest brace of the drop spreader. The mount bracket mounts the implement holder, which supports the rake/brush in a suitable position to assist in the incorporation of infill material into the space between the grass tufts of synthetic turf or to assist in the incorporation of other dropped particulates into synthetic or natural turf or onto the ground.

Abstract: A pre-packaged paint sample includes a sealed package, paint sealed within the package, and a new paint applicator sealed within the sealed package. For use, the package is shook to apply the paint to the paint applicator. The sealed package is opened, and the paint applicator is removed from the package. The paint applicator and used to apply the relatively small amount of the paint t. The pre-packaged paint sample can be useful in applications where only a small amount of paint is needed such as, for example but not limited to, paint sampling, paint touch up, and the like.

Abstract: A surface cleaning apparatus, such as a fluid delivery or steam mop, comprises a handle assembly comprising a steam distributor and a foot assembly pivotally attached to the handle assembly and comprising a base housing. The foot assembly can be used in two positions, whereby opposing sides of a cleaning pad on the base housing can selectively engage a surface to be cleaned. The foot assembly is further swivelable relative to the steam distributor, such that fluid can be delivered to the surface to be cleaned in both of the two use positions.

Abstract: A lip balm applicator product comprises upper and lower portions that are connectable together to define the applicator product being of a substantially spherical shape. A support platform is located in the lower portion and accommodates a quantity of lip balm having an arcuate surface. A lip balm comprises a composition of waxes and oils in solid form and formed to have an arcuate surface. The composition is formed to have the arcuate surface using a hot pour process. A method of manufacturing a lip balm comprises providing a receptacle having a concave arcuate surface. A lip balm material in a heated, liquefied phase is poured into the receptacle. Once poured, the heated, liquefied phase is allowed to solidify such that a surface of the solidified lip balm material has an arcuate configuration that corresponds to the concave arcuate surface of the receptacle.

Abstract: A direct-liquid writing instrument includes a penholder, an ink feeder and a nib. One end of the penholder is provided with a writing portion, and the other end of the penholder is provided with an ink storage portion. The nib is partially inserted into the writing portion. The direct-liquid writing instrument also includes a first baffle and a second baffle that are spaced apart from each other to form an air barrier layer. The first baffle is in contact with the ink of the ink storage portion, and the second baffle is adjacent the writing portion. Additionally, the first baffle is provided with a first air-guiding channel, and a second air-guiding channel is provided between the second baffle and the ink feeder. The ink feeder passes through the first baffle, the air barrier layer, and the second baffle to deliver the ink to the nib.
