  • Patent number: 11273340
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a slip training device. The training device comprises an outer frame having two ends; a plurality of platforms disposed on the outer frame, and at least one rotatable element disposed below each platform for enabling the movement of the platform with respect to the frame. Each platform is configured to be either movable along the frame or stationary with respect to the frame. In use as a slip training device, a user steps on one end of the device and walks across the device, not knowing whether a platform is moveable or stationary. If the user steps on a moveable platform, then the user will need to use balance to prevent a fall. If the user steps on a stationary platform, then the user can walk across that platform normally. Whether a particular platform is moveable or stationary can be changed each time the user traverses the device.

Abstract: Training equipment is configured for targeted muscle actuation. The training equipment contains a muscle-powered actuating element and a damping system having two components that can move in relation to one another. One of the components is operatively connected to the actuating element, such that a movement of the actuating element can be damped. A field-sensitive rheological medium and a field generation system are associated with the damping system, in order to generate and control the field strength. A damping characteristic can be influenced by the field generation system. A control system is suited and configured to control the field generation system in a targeted manner in accordance with a training parameter, such that the movement of the actuating element can be damped taking into account the training parameter.

  • Patent number: 11266871
Abstract: A stair exerciser apparatus for simulating stair climbing includes a frame, a lower shaft and an upper shaft mounted rotatably on the frame, a conveyor operatively engaged with the upper shaft and the lower shaft, a plurality of steps, a flywheel and a one-way clutch mechanism. The plurality of steps are joined to the conveyor for movement with the conveyor. The flywheel is operatively engaged with the conveyor. The one-way clutch mechanism is operatively engaged with the conveyor and the flywheel. The one-way clutch mechanism is configured to selectively couple the conveyor with the flywheel such that motion of the plurality of steps in a first step direction drives rotation of the flywheel when the one-way clutch mechanism is engaged, and the one-way clutch mechanism decouples the conveyor from the flywheel when the one-way clutch mechanism is disengaged.

  • Patent number: 11246731
Abstract: Described is an exercise tool. More particularly, it is a therapy and exercise tool specifically devised as a foot-therapy and toe-aligning device to align, separate, and stretch toes. The foot-therapy and toe-aligning device comprises a frame with a plurality of posts connected with the frame. The device is formed of an elastic material such that a user may place at least one of the plurality of posts between a user's toes and pull the post to stretch and elongate the post between the toes. Upon release, the elastic material of the post causes the post to attempt to return to its original shape, thereby causing it to expand out and conform its shape to fit snugly against the user's toes. Additionally, the elastic material allows the toe posts to be positioned and maintained at numerous locations between the user's toes for customizable positioning between the toes.

  • Patent number: 11213712
Abstract: A exercise device includes: a u-shaped frame; first and second arms pivotally coupled to ends of the frame; a first pair of bands that resist pivotal movement between the u-shaped frame and each of the first and second arms; and an arm bar. The arm bar is releasably coupled proximate to the free end of each of the first and second arms. As configured the device is usable for a first set of exercises. A first end of each of a second pair of resistance bands is respectively secured in proximity to first and second ends of the arm bar. The second ends of the second pair of resistance bands have loops fixedly secured thereto. When the arm bar is not releasably secured to the first and second arms, it is usable in combination with those bands and loops for a second set of exercises, providing a full body workout.

  • Patent number: 11179591
Abstract: A weight sled that allows both linear and non-linear movements such that resistance training can be performed in the frontal, sagittal, and combined frontal/sagittal planes, and which allows easy movement for transportation, storage, and retrieval from storage. The weight sled uses one or more swiveling, pivoting, or omni-directional wheels that allow all or a portion of the sled to be moved laterally. The addition of wheel configurations allowing of lateral movement of all of, or a portion of, the weight sled greatly expands the utility of weight sleds because movement in any direction can be trained, whether in the sagittal body plane (forward/backward movements), the frontal body plane (lateral movements), or a combination of the two. Additionally, the plurality of wheel configurations allows for a variety of storage arrangements.
