Abstract: A variable difficulty balance board for standing desk and fitness use is provided. The balance board facilitates the conditioning and rehabilitation of the nerves, bones, muscles, and joints of the body by limiting the range of motion and biomechanical forces around the longitudinal and lateral axes. The balance board comprises a deck, a fulcrum receiver, and a fulcrum insert. The fulcrum insert is press-fit into a fulcrum cavity of the fulcrum receiver. The fulcrum insert extends outward from the fulcrum receiver and provides an area where the balance board can pivot. The fulcrum insert may be replaced by the user such that it may occupy either a first orientation or a second orientation within the fulcrum cavity. The first orientation and the second orientation configures the fulcrum insert such that it provides a lateral or longitudinal axis of balance relative to the deck, respectively.
Abstract: A climbing wall assembly comprising at least one wall panel (2) arranged to provide at least a portion of a climbing wall (1), a number of hand hold structures (5) to be placed to the at least one wall panel (2) and a number of integrated fastening elements (3) arranged in the at least one wall panel (2) for receiving the hand hold structures (5) to be placed to the at least one wall panel (2).
Abstract: A seated leg extension exercise station and or a seated leg curl exercise station integrated into an exercise machine comprising an indirect alignment pivot mechanism to control the motion of the user engagement ankle pads such that the user's ankles and the machine's ankle pads are aligned to move in the same arcing path throughout the exercise motion and wherein all of the components of the indirect alignment pivot mechanism are located below the top surface of the seat pad during at least a portion of the exercise motion such that there is unobstructed access to the top surface of the seat pad when the user enters and exits the machine.
Abstract: A stretching and exercising device is beneficial for torso flexibility, having a configurable structure in which the curvature of the platform is adjustable. The platform can be varied in curvature from a substantially flat configuration to a generally semi-circular configuration. The platform is supported by a gear train connected to the platform, wherein the platform has a plurality of discrete parts. An adjustment member having a manually adjustable variable length connects opposite ends of the gear train, so that the curvature of the platform is determined by the adjusted length of the adjustment member.
Abstract: The mouthpiece includes an enhanced mouthpiece, a data sensor, and a personal data device. The data sensor collects data regarding the bite force, the number of bites and the duration of each bite. The data sensor wirelessly transfers the collected data to a personal data device.
Abstract: Balance training aids are disclosed. Example embodiments disclose a user placing all or part of their body weight on a top surface of a platform that is sitting atop an unstable base member and attempts to balance or complete a balance challenge. In example embodiments, the user places at least a portion of one foot atop the platform during the balance challenge. Adjustability features can be provided so as to provide a varying degree of adjustability to the unstable base member, and thus, provide a varying degree of balance challenges or levels of difficulty.
Abstract: A weight delay device for weight training equipment includes a delay member vertically movable between a second top dead point and a second bottom dead point, and a locking assembly vertically movable with the main weight device of the weight training equipment and having a positioning member selectively locatable at a first position or a second position. When the positioning member is located at the second position and the main weight device starts to move from the first bottom dead point to the first top dead point, the positioning member and the delay member are combined with each other, so that the delay member moves with the main weight device to the first top dead point.
Abstract: An exercise device for performing squat movement including a base part for supporting the device against a surface, a first tube member attached to the base part, a second tube member movable with respect to the first tube member, an elastic member resisting the downward movement of the second tube member and moving upward the second tube member with respect to the first tube member, and a seat member for pressing down the second tube member, the seat member being attached to the second tube member.
Abstract: An exercise machine which allows for a wide range of exercises while maintaining improved balance and control for the exerciser. The exercise machine generally includes a frame having a first track, a carriage movably connected to the first track, a first platform and a second platform connected to the frame, a first stationary handle extending upwardly from the upper surface of the first platform, and a second stationary handle extending upwardly from the upper surface of the first platform.
Abstract: A steering assembly for a mounted bicycle is disclosed herein. The steering assembly includes a support base and at least one omnidirectional roller assembly extending from a bottom surface thereof. The at least one omnidirectional roller assembly is operatively disposed in direct contact with a ground surface and is structured to facilitate movement of the support base along the ground surface in a plurality of different arcuate and linear paths to accommodate varying trail measurements of a bicycle. The varying trail measurements of the bicycle are defined by varying angles of the bicycle relative to the ground surface during operative use of the steering assembly.
Abstract: A conveyor chain which is designed to be used on a stepmill to form into steps on the side interacting with a user, but which can fold into a generally flat configuration when returning to the top of the tread. Each step is designed to be formed of four generally identical segments where both the segments forming the tread and kickplate can fold relative to each other and each of the tread and kickplate can fold at a midpoint between two segments.
Abstract: A weightlifting bar and a weight equipment system may provide grooves and/or spaces that may provide a color. The placement of the grooves and/or spaces may prevent users from improperly utilizing the weightlifting bar and weight equipment system when lifting the bar. The weightlifting bar and weight equipment system may also prevent injury to users by providing guidelines to ensure symmetry of user hands and/or fingers along the weightlifting bar.
Abstract: A multi-room in-home harness system is disclosed. Specific implementations may include a first plurality of tracks including a first track system in a first room, a trolley that may be configured to moveably couple to a track of the first plurality of tracks and move along a horizontal plane of the track, and a cart coupled to the trolley, where the trolley may be configured to move the cart along each track of the first plurality of tracks and may also be configured to transfer the cart from the first plurality of tracks to a second plurality of tracks in a second room.
