Abstract: A curable liquid composition includes a monomer having an SI value of less than 3.0 and a photopolymerization initiator having a weight average molecular weight of 500 or greater, wherein the curable liquid composition is negative in skin sensitization.
Abstract: Embodiments in accordance with the present invention encompass compositions encompassing a latent organo-ruthenium compound, a pyridine compound, a photosensitizer and an ultra violet light blocking compound along with one or more monomers which undergo ring open metathesis polymerization (ROMP) when said composition is exposed to suitable actinic radiation to form a substantially transparent film or a three dimensional object. Surprisingly, the compositions are very stable at ambient conditions to temperatures up to 80° C. for several days and undergo mass polymerization only when subjected to actinic radiation under inert atmosphere such as for example a blanket of nitrogen. Accordingly, compositions of this invention are useful in various opto-electronic applications, including as 3D printing materials, coatings, encapsulants, fillers, leveling agents, among others.
Abstract: A composition, method, and system for directly printing and creating complete functional 3D electronic circuits and devices without any thermal or laser post-processing treatment, by using at least Triphenylamine (TPA) as a powder binding agent. The composition can have mechanical characteristics that allow it to be melted and extruded on a structure, and electrical properties that allow it to function as at least one of a conductor, insulator, resistor, p-type semiconductor, n-type semiconductor, or capacitor.
Abstract: Cure in place pressure sensitive adhesive compositions are described that comprise one or more of a bodying component, a structural diluent, a radical diluent as well as additives such as crosslinkers, external catalysts, photoinitiators and stabilizers/process aids. The bodying component can be acrylic or non-acrylic.

Abstract: Embodiments in accordance with the present invention encompass a two component composition containing in one component a latent organo-ruthenium carbide catalyst, and in another component a photoactive acid generator or a thermally active acid generator, and either of the components containing a mixture of photoactive compound along with one or more monomers which undergo ring open metathesis polymerization (ROMP) when said components are mixed together and exposed to a suitable radiation (or heat) to form a three-dimensional (3D) object. The three-dimensional objects so formed exhibits improved mechanical properties, particularly, high heat distortion temperature, impact strength, elongation to break, among others. Accordingly, compositions of this invention are useful as 3D inkjet materials for forming high impact strength objects of various sizes with microscale features lower than 100 microns, among various other uses.
Abstract: The present invention is drawn to UV-curable ink and coating compositions comprising acylphosphine oxide photoinitiators and acids. The acids may be inorganic or organic acids, or acids generated by a photoacid generator during UV-cure. Incorporation of the acids into the UV-curable ink and coating compositions results in a reduction of migratable aldehydes that are produced by acylphosphine oxide photoinitiators during UV-cure. The ink and coating compositions are particularly useful for use in applications N that require low migration of low molecular weight materials, such as, for example, food packaging.
