Abstract: A pressure vessel includes a body with a closed end and a neck extends from the other end of the body and encloses an opening. A metal collar is mounted to the neck. A valve device is engaged with an inner periphery of the neck and has a peripheral wall extending through the opening. The peripheral wall is folded outward to wrap and position the collar.

Abstract: A separable container apparatus for providing a convenient means of storing food products. The separable container apparatus includes containers each having an open top, a bottom wall, and a peripheral side wall assembly securely and integrally attached to and extending upwardly from the bottom wall with the containers being detachably connected to one another to essentially form a single structure having a plurality of storage compartments; and also includes lids being removably attached to any combination of attached containers.

Abstract: A handle accessory includes an elongate rim mount having by parallel, spaced inner and outer flanges forming a downwardly directed receiving groove which is adapted to engage over and receive a bowl rim. A thumb rest extends outward from the outer flange along the lower edge portion thereof and centrally thereof. This rest has an upwardly curving outer end portion which tends to assist in retaining the thumb on the rest and preventing any accidental slipping therefrom. An upper flange, which is preferably coextensive with the length of the rim mount, tapers upwardly and inwardly relative thereto, providing a scraping edge against which the filled spoon can be easily slid to level the food, preferably no higher than the upper rim of the spoon. It will also be recognized that this upper flange an effective splatter shield for the outwardly positioned thumb.

Abstract: A housing case for apparatus, which has both a display window and opaque ornamental layer on the surface of housing case, includes a transparent synthetic resin sheet. The synthetic resin sheet is provided with opaque printing layer in a pattern having unprinted portion corresponding to the display window. The synthetic resin sheet is formed into a shape of housing case. A formed product of transparent synthetic resin is insert-formed on the backside of the formed synthetic resin sheet. In the housing case, the forming of a ornamental pattern on the surface of housing case and a dispaly window can be made at the same time when forming a body of housing case(FIG. 1).

Abstract: A packaging container is formed from preformed, rigid base and cover units of U-shaped cross-section, the cover unit configured so that the side walls fit within and are embraced by the side walls of the base unit when assembled as a container. The base unit forms an end closure from first and second closure panels extending from an end of the base unit. The closure panels are separated from the base unit and each other by first and second fold lines. The base unit side walls having mitered corners at a juncture with the first closure panel and the first closure panel side walls have mitered corners adjacent the base unit for forming a square comer when folded. The first closure panel side walls also have mitered corners adjacent the second closure panel and the second closure panel side walls have mitered corners adjacent the first closure panel for forming a square corner when folded to form the end closure.

Abstract: An auxiliary handle of an L shape spanner comprises a handle, and at least one hollow. The handle has a hollow structure, and two sides thereof are spaced with at least one groove for being inserted by the cylinder. The center of the handle has a spanner through hole and an extension portion. The cylinder has at least one spanner fixing holes for being inserted by the L shape spanner and being fixed therein and thus, the cylinder is embedded into the groove of the handle. A short rod of a selected L shape spanner is be inserted into the cylinder of the spanner retaining hole so that a long rod protrudes from the spanner through hole so as to be formed with an L shape spanner with a T shape auxiliary handle; only one handle can match with L shape spanner of different size. The auxiliary handle can be varied easily by assembly and can be operated easily.

Abstract: A liquid-container housing for receiving, supporting, protecting, and securing a liquid container, which has a spigot adapted to allow a user access to the liquid within the container. The housing is adapted to be fixedly mounted upon a vertically extending support structure and includes a base and a lid having a double-wall construction. The base and lid combine to define four side walls, a bottom wall, and a top wall and expose the spigot for access by the user to the liquid in the container. At least one of the group including the four side walls and the top wall is rotatable about an axis defined by a hinge formed on the housing to define a closable opening to the housing such that the housing is adapted to receive, support, protect, and secure the liquid container and facilitate the insertion and removal of the liquid container. A boss depends from the base and is adapted to accommodate the support structure so as to fixedly mount the housing to the support structure.

Abstract: A compartmentalized trash can for sorting and storing different kinds of recyclables. A plurality of partitions are disposed in, and divide, a container into a plurality of sub-chambers. A lid is hingedly attached to, and selectively opens and closes the container. An apparatus opens the lid by use of a foot of a user. A liner bag removably lines the container and is defined by a peripheral flange, and includes a plurality of sub-liner bags that are formed together as one piece, with each sub-liner bag lining an associated sub-chamber. Each sub-liner bag is defined by a flange. The flanges of adjacent sub-liner bags are common, and solely by themselves, without any other attachments, attach the plurality of sub-liner bags to each other. The flanges of the plurality of sub-liner bags are divided lengthwise by perforations.

Abstract: A vapor directing baffle for a beverage container. The combination of a beverage container and a tight fitting lid in combination with an internal baffle forces aroma laden vapor (located between the interior of the lid and the liquid surface of the beverage in the container) outward through openings in the lid, when the beverage container is tipped from the level position to the drinking position. This vapor pumping action places the outwardly flowing aroma beneath the nose of a user, thereby allowing the user to enjoy the aroma of the beverage.

Abstract: Compartmented food service articles with sharp angular junctions are thermoformed utilizing a plug-assisted thermoforming process. The plug is employed in connection with a thermoforming mold having a plurality of rib portions which project axially from a substantially planar mold surface of the thermoforming mold, and which rib portions define a plurality of angular junctions with the substantially planar mold surface. The plug includes a plurality of rib relief portions positioned and configured to fit about the rib portions of the mold in a forming operation at an axial clearance distance of about 0.125 inches or less from the angular junction of the rib portions of the mold with the substantially planar mold surface.

Abstract: A reclosable drinking straw for flexible or semi-flexible beverage containers including a pot-like closure cap externally mounted on a drinking straw end to be axially displaced between a closed position and an open position, the inner cap bottom portion being designed as a closing element for the drinking straw openings, and the cap wall comprising at least one lateral passage opening which in the open position is in flow communication with the drinking straw opening.

Abstract: A feeding cup for infants has a main reservoir communicating through a channel to a feeding spout. Breast milk placed in the reservoir enters the spout via the channel when the cup is tilted or when the sidewalls of the reservoir are compressed to create a pumping action. The reservoir is curved to fit a user's hand and has sidewalls that are thicker than the walls of the channel. The spout is designed to allow drop-by-drop dispensing of the breast milk.

Abstract: A containment article, such as a luggage article, is provided which comprises a pair of substantially identical plastic shells which are hingedly connected to each other. The invention also includes an improved telescoping handle assembly for an article, such as wheeled luggage as well as a unique and novel safety latch for a containment article.

Abstract: A container with separate storage spaces includes a body for retaining a first substance therein and a sealing structure securely attached to the body for hermetically sealing the first substance in the body. The sealing structure has a sealing package hermetically enclosing a second substance, whereby the second substance can be released from the sealing package to be mixed with the first substance by cutting open the sealing package with a cutting member slidably cooperative with the sealing structure. With the use of the sealing structure, the container of this invention allows a person to refill the first substance to the body and replace a cut-open sealing package with a new one on his own, without need of manufacturer equipments.

Abstract: An ice fishing bucket for organizing and transporting ice fishing rods and tackle. The invention includes a plastic bucket with a removable lid, the lid having a large hole cut in it and a foam ring fitted around the inner periphery of the hole. Slits are cut radially along the inner circumference of the foam ring for securing fishing rods. A foam disk with holes for receiving the handle ends of ice fishing rods is fitted into the bottom of the bucket. The holes are spaced in vertical alignment with the slits in the foam ring above. To organize the fishing rods, the handle of a rod is placed in one of the holes in the foam disk and the rod is then pushed into the corresponding slit in the foam ring on the bucket lid. Friction between the rod and the slits in the foam ring holds the rods in place. Other items such as tackle and lures may be placed in the center of the bucket.

Abstract: A cup holder for receiving a hot beverage carrying a cup of the type with a rim with an open top and a closed bottom end with a tapered outwardly and upwardly extending side wall between the bottom end and the top rim. The side wall has an outer surface heated by the hot beverage in the cup. The cup holder comprises a single molded piece free of overlapping joints and free of adhesive and having at least three upstanding segments with each segment having upper and lower extremities. Hinges interconnect the three upstanding segments to retain the segments in a circular configuration with the segments being outwardly inclined to form a lower aperture which has a size substantially less than the size of the top rim of the cup and an upper aperture greater in size than the lower aperture permitting the cup holder to be nested before use.

Abstract: A straw including a straw body defined therein with a passage extending throughout the length of the straw body, a bellows portion formed at a desired portion of the straw body, the bellows portion having a desired length, and a tube arranged in the bellows portion and integrally formed with the bellows portion, the tube having a desired elasticity and being configured in such a fashion that opposite inner surface portions thereof are in close contact with each other in a bent state of the bellows portion by a desired angle, thereby closing the passage of the straw body.

Abstract: A molded drain pan for use with a conditioning system. The drain pan has an inner and outer wall and a bottom creating a donut shaped annular pan to collect condensate. The pan contains a thin support rib, which is inclined to direct condensate towards a drain. The thin rib reduces heat transfer between the pan and a support structure.
