Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to integrated modular display panels. In one embodiment, modular display panel includes a casing having a recess. The casing includes locking points for use in attachment to an adjacent casing of another modular display panel. A printed circuit board is disposed in the recess and a plurality of LEDs attached to the printed circuit board. A driver circuit is attached to the printed circuit board. A heat sink is disposed between a back side of the casing and the printed circuit board. The heat sink thermally contacts the back side of the casing and the printed circuit board. A framework of louvers is disposed over the printed circuit board. The framework of louvers is disposed between rows of the LEDs. The framework of louvers is attached to the printed circuit board using an adhesive.

Abstract: On a name badge, the rear part (2) of which, formed as a plastic injection moulded part, has a hook-shaped clamping limb (10) for the attachment of the name badge to an item of clothing, the clamping limb (10) is provided with a slot (14) into which an abutment (15) projects to improve the seating of the name badge on the item of clothing.

Abstract: A sign and display system including a faceplate, lens, backing plate, and at least one magnet is described. The faceplate includes a viewing aperture and the back of the faceplate includes a recess in which the at least one magnet is mounted. The recess in the faceplate is configured to receive the lens and backing plate. The lens may include one or more edge protrusions configured to enter one or more small recesses in the side of the faceplate recess to secure the lens to the faceplate. When the lens and backing plate are positioned in the recess of the faceplate, the one or more magnets exert a force on the backing plate to secure the faceplate and lens to the backing plate. An insert capable of displaying text and/or graphics can also be positioned between the lens and backing plate in the recess of the faceplate.

Abstract: A corrugated display sign with a main body having an inner surface and an outer surface, with the body including a first portion and a second portion. The sign further includes at least one or more formers, and in some embodiments two or more formers, secured to the first portion of the inner surface of the main body, with the formers each including a tab section that secures the former to the main body, a front body portion with a wing portion, and a back body portion with a wing portion. Further, the second portion of the main body is folded around the first portion and the formers, so as to create an elongated elliptical shape for the sign. The display sign is capable of being erected from a knockdown configuration to an erected configuration by folding the former body portions and the wing, and folding the second portion of the main body around the first portion and the formers.

Abstract: A vehicle seat bar assembly having a seat with first and second engagement members. A rear seat bracket extends between the first and second engagement members of a seat. A torsion bar extends between the first and second engagement members and is operably engaged therewith. The torsion bar includes an intermediate bracket engagement portion and a first and second linear portion that extends between the first engagement member and the intermediate bracket engagement portion and the second engagement member and the intermediate bracket engagement portion. The torsion bar also includes a first and second distal end configured to engage the first and second engagement members, respectively, which induces a torsional resistance in the torsion bar when the seatback is at a fully reclined position and when the seatback is at a fully folded position.

Abstract: Frame kits and frames are disclosed herein. In an example, a frame kit includes at least two frame legs. Each frame leg has two edges, where one of the two edges of each frame leg is to abut another of the two edges of an adjacent frame leg when a frame is constructed with the frame legs. Each frame leg includes a non-foamed polymer exterior wall; a hollow space defined by the non-foamed polymer exterior wall; and an expanded foam material positioned within the hollow space.

Abstract: An instant book binding system and book cover for rapidly binding single- or double-sided documents, photographs, pages, and other forms of hardcopy media into soft or hard cover books is disclosed. The book binding method using the book cover or system can be performed without special skills or training, and does not require the use of ancillary equipment. The book cover and system can be used in conjunction with output on a wide variety of media types, finishes, and stock weights from any type of printer or copier, or with photographs. The finished books retain the appearance and function of conventional mass produced soft and hard covered books.

Abstract: Disclosed is a displayed device having a top and bottom elongate rail and a display module for displaying alpha numeric information to passengers on a mass transit vehicle. The display modules may be mounted along a top and bottom edge directly to the top and bottom elongate rails. End caps are mounted to the ends of the elongate rail forming a structurally sound frame about the display module.

Abstract: A sign stanchion includes a support frame having a first side and a second side. A plurality of substantially horizontal backer panels are mounted to the support frame, extend between the first and second sides of the support frame and are substantially vertically spaced apart from each other. At least one sign includes a main panel, a first tab coupled to a top of the main panel by a first bend and a second tab coupled to a bottom of the main panel by a second bend. The at least one sign is mounted to at least one of the plurality of backer panels by inserting one of the first tab and the second tab between two of the plurality of backer panels.

Abstract: A collapsible display device includes a stand that includes a first part that supports against an underlying supportive surface, and a pole having a first end removably secured in said first part. The display device includes an essentially rectangular screen to be assembled to and disassembled from the display device and a first coupling arranged at a second end of said pole to cooperate with a second coupling arranged at a first short end of said screen. The first part includes at least one first fastener arranged at a shorter distance to the supportive surface than an at least one projector. The screen includes at least one second fastener arranged at a second short end to magnetically fasten to the at least one first fastener, a first magnetic strip arranged in connection with a first longitudinal end, and a second magnetic strip arranged at a second longitudinal end.

Abstract: Flexible indicia bearing labels are placed on armored electrical cable at spaced apart intervals while the cable is being moving continuously from an armoring station to a takeup reel or accumulator. A label dispenser places labels in a U shaped recess of a body which is moveable toward engagement with the cable. Opposed rollers fold one edge of the label over into engagement with the surface of the cable and the other edge of the label over onto itself in overlapping relationship. The cable is passed through a heat tunnel to shrink the labels into tight engagement with the cable. A controller monitors movement of the cable and controls actuators for applying and folding labels onto the cable at spaced apart intervals.

Abstract: An interactive electronic greeting card with pop up feature includes a three-sided pocket or cavity which houses various electronic and mechanical components and a pop up element. In a first position, the pop up element is substantially contained within the greeting card pocket or cavity. When the push button is depressed, the pop up element is ejected or “pops up” out of the greeting card pocket or cavity, revealing a greeting or other printed indicia. The push button also initiates playback of a pre-loaded digital audio file, which may be a spoken message, a sound, a song, music or other such audio recording. Manually pushing the pop up element back into the cavity ends playback of the audio.

Abstract: A seat back structure includes a web extending about a central opening, and an inner flange extending about an inner perimeter of the web adjacent to the central opening. The seat back structure also includes an outer flange extending about an outer perimeter of the web. The inner flange, the outer flange and the web form a channel extending about the seat back structure, and the seat back structure is formed from a single piece of material.

Abstract: A display tool is configured to maneuver a fabric swatch covering and includes a swatch deck and a support arm attached to a lifting tab to maneuver the lifting tab away from the swatch deck. A substrate is attached to the swatch deck and configured to support the support arm when the lifting tab is distant the swatch deck. A first swatch covering front side is attached to the support arm. A first plurality of support veins front side is attached to the first swatch covering back side and the first plurality of support veins back side is attached to the substrate. The support arm can be supported against the substrate to display the first swatch covering and the first plurality of support veins from the support arm.

Abstract: A vehicle seat can include a seat bottom frame having a front, a back opposite the front, and enclosing a volume. Pivotally connected to the back of the seat bottom frame can be a seat back frame and pivotally connected to the front of the seat bottom frame can be a seat leg rest. The seat leg rest has a length. Mounted in the volume of the seat frame are at least two leg rest springs which are connected to the leg rest. When the leg rest springs are actuated, the seat leg rest can be directly pivoted approximately and incrementally parallel with the seat bottom frame. The two leg rest springs are mounted a first distance apart and the first distance is less than half of the length of the leg rest.

Abstract: A corrugated display sign with a former panel secured to a backer panel. The former panel includes a central section opposed by two lateral sections, two support members partially cut away from the central section and maintaining a connection with the central section via at least one fold line, and two or more preformed slits, with one slit positioned adjacent to the support members. The display sign further includes a graphic panel operable to be wrapped around exterior edges of the lateral sections, and having ends secured to the backer panel. The display sign is capable of being erected from a knockdown configuration to an erected configuration by folding the lateral sections away from the central section and wrapping the graphic panel about the lateral sections.

Abstract: A memory mechanism is provided with engagement portions, a housing recess, a memory plate, and engagement receiving portions. The engagement portions are provided to an adjacent pair of pawls, respectively. The housing recess has a cylindrical shape and is provided to a first member. The memory plate is formed in an annular shape which is cut at one point. The memory plate is housed within the housing recess while being reduced in diameter with the cut portion disposed between the engagement portions. The engagement receiving portions are respectively adjacent between the engagement portions of the memory plate, to the engagement portions. The engagement portions are engaged with and disengaged from the engagement receiving portions as the pawls move in the radial direction.

Abstract: A label and labeling system for identifying the volume of a specimen within a specimen collection container are disclosed. The system includes providing a specimen collection container having an open top end, a closed bottom end, and a sidewall extending therebetween forming an interior adapted for receiving a specimen therein. The specimen collection container also includes a label having a label body disposed over at least a portion of the sidewall, in visual alignment with a colored background. At least one of the sidewall of the specimen collection container and the label body have printing disposed thereon having a color that is substantially identical to the colored background against which the specimen collection container will be viewed. At least one of the sidewall of the specimen collection container and the label body may have colorless indicia having a surface enhancement feature for providing visual distinction.
