Abstract: A poster clamp (1) comprising first and second members (3, 5), the members (3, 5) comprising first and second gripping surfaces (7), respectively, for gripping opposing sides of a poster or a like, and a poster mounting system comprising a hoarding (208) and a plurality of such clamps (1), and a wire (210) on which the clamps (1) are to be mounted for tightening a poster within the frame of the hoarding (208).

Abstract: A sign and display system including a faceplate, lens, backing plate, and at least one magnet is described. The faceplate includes a viewing aperture and the back of the faceplate includes a recess in which the at least one magnet is mounted. The recess in the faceplate is configured to receive the lens and backing plate. The lens may include one or more edge protrusions configured to enter one or more small recesses in the side of the faceplate recess to secure the lens to the faceplate. When the lens and backing plate are positioned in the recess of the faceplate, the one or more magnets exert a force on the backing plate to secure the faceplate and lens to the backing plate. An insert capable of displaying text and/or graphics can also be positioned between the lens and backing plate in the recess of the faceplate.

Abstract: A system for mounting a badge to a component of a vehicle is provided. The system comprises a mounting base including a fastening aperture extending in a direction through a plane defined by the mounting base, a trim ring coupled with a peripheral edge of the mounting base and configured to selectively mount the badge between the trim ring and the mounting base when said trim ring is coupled with the peripheral edge, and a flexible fastening member including a first end that is fixedly coupled with the mounting base and a second end that is positioned within the fastening aperture. The flexible fastening member is configured to be positioned around at least a portion of a component of a vehicle and between the mounting base and the badge to fasten the badge to the vehicle.

Abstract: The present invention discloses an armrest for a vehicle, the armrest having a front end, a rear end, and two sides; an intake port formed in the front end of an armrest body; an exhaust port formed in the rear end of the armrest body; a blower installed in the armrest body, the blower being connected to the exhaust port by an exhaust duct, and to the intake port by an intake duct, wherein the intake duct is configured to extend rearward from the intake port, branch off into a plurality of diverged parts, and converge prior to connection with the blower; a plurality of cup holders arranged in a row and positioned forward of the blower and proximate to the diverge parts of the intake duct; and a thermoelement disposed on each of the cup holders, the thermoelement being brought into close contact with the intake duct.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an armrest that includes a rotating shaft, an intake port, an exhaust port, an internal duct and a cup holder. The rotating shaft is disposed in the rear end of the armrest body and configured to pivotally connect the armrest body to a seat so that the armrest body may alternate between a retracted position in which the armrest functions as a seatback and an unfolded position in which the armrest functions as an armrest. The intake port, exhaust port, and internal duct are configured to provide heating and cooling of the cup holder.

Abstract: Headrests for motor vehicle seats. The headrests may include a fixed part, a moving part movable with respect to the fixed part from a rest position to an active position, with connection means connecting the fixed part and the moving part to determine the path and the position of the moving part. A drive device drives and moves the moving part with respect to the fixed part in the event of a crash. Movement of at least one portion of the moving part to a forward position with respect to the active position may be provided by a damping assembly. The damping assembly may also allow the backward movement to the active position after an impact of the user's head on the moving part, absorbing energy in the backward movement.

Abstract: A device is disclosed for the safe, secure and reliable display of a municipal meter parking ticket, or similar item, from the interior of an automobile or motor vehicle. The device includes a base with a rotating lid. The rotating lid locks or engages over the municipal meter parking ticket which is on the base. Additionally, a chamber may be formed with a slot through which the municipal meter parking ticket is inserted.

Abstract: A compact merchandise display system for showcasing an item has a base with a transparent or translucent cover located on a base top surface. The system has a rotating platform located on the base top surface having a first light. The system has a control system having a microprocessor, a sensor, a power supply, a power switch, a speaker, a microphone, and a memory component located in the microprocessor. A sound is recorded by the microphone and stored into the memory component of the microprocessor. Upon activation of the microprocessor via the sensor, the sound is played via the speaker, the rotating platform is energized via a platform motor, and the first light is activated.

Abstract: I provide a hang tag, preferably used for a saleable item such as clothing, that is convertible into a storage container. The storage container can then be used to store the purchased item. In a method of use, a user can remove the hang tag from a recently purchased saleable item of clothing, and, through a series of folds and interlocking of panels, create the storage containers in which the user could place the item.

Abstract: A system and method for hanging a picture frame on a wall, comprising the steps of providing a picture frame with a hanger, for receiving a nail therein and a marking device temporarily secured to the picture frame and disposed near the void for receiving the nail; pressing the picture frame with the marking device protruding out from the picture frame, so that the marking device makes a perceivable mark on the wall, then removing the marking device; inserting a nail, screw or a length adjustable wall auger into the wall at the mark; and hanging the picture with the hanger so that the nail, screw or a length adjustable wall auger occupies some of the space earlier occupied by the marking device.

Abstract: A collectibles display case includes a durable frame, a front window, a rear window, and a placeholder. The front window includes a picture-frame type transparent front securely attachable to a front inside location of the frame. The back window includes a transparent back window similar to and removably located opposite the front window. The placeholder includes a corresponding pair of flat, durable frame-shaped mats with exterior perimeters of the same shape as the frame. The pair of mats each has a central rectangular opening. The placeholder is securely and removably mounted within a middle portion of the frame between the windows. The rectangular openings allow a packaged collectible having a thickness, such as a blister packed item to be “sandwiched” between the frame components and viewable housed between the windows.

Abstract: This application relates to a structure for a license plate. Specifically, it relates to a device for attaching a license plate to a vehicle. In particular, it relates to a license plate frame for a vehicle which both supports the license plate and has a fin extending therefrom to protect the vehicle.

Abstract: Moisture-activated invisible stencil technology is created by applying a moisture-blocking agent in accordance with an artwork is applied to a base substrate. The base substrate is preferably fabricated of a moisture absorbing material. When the object is subjected to moisture, moisture wets to the exposed portion of the base substrate and is repelled in the areas where the moisture-blocking agent is applied thereon. The wetted portion of the base substrate changes in shade or color to expose the concealed image. The moisture-activated invisible stencil technology can be applied for simple aesthetic applications or advanced for applications to identify wet objects. The advanced applications can include warnings for wet roadways, pool decks, umbrellas, and the like.

Abstract: A backlight section is adapted for use in connection with a large format graphic illumination system. The backlight sheet has one or more electroluminescent panels attached to it. This backlight sheet will be mounted onto a display surface. The graphic sheet is then mounted over the assembled backlight sheet having the electroluminescent panels thereon.

Abstract: A wall panel system includes first and second support members, mounting brackets, a backer board, and a graphic panel. The first support member includes a first substantially planar panel and a first reception cavity. The second support member includes a second substantially planar panel and a second reception cavity. The mounting brackets are configured to each be selectively coupled with the retail display. A first mounting bracket couples the first support member to the retail display, and a second mounting bracket couples the second support member to the retail display. A rear surface of the graphic panel faces a front surface of the backer board. Top edges of the backer board and the graphic panel are each slidably received in the first reception cavity. Bottom edge of the backer board and the graphic panel are each slidably received in the second reception cavity of the second support member.

Abstract: A modular LED light unit for mounting to an object to illuminate distally located objects comprises a circuit board supporting a plurality of LED lights and a light permeable front cover. The circuit board includes a plurality of apertures with the LED lights being reverse mounted to the circuit board such that each LED light is located by and extends into a separate one of the apertures. The front cover includes an outer surface and an inner surface and at least one optical structure located on the outer surface or inner surface. At least one of the LED lights is axially aligned with the optical structure whereby light emitted from the aligned LED lights is directed into the optical structure.

Abstract: A luggage tag system includes a main portion comprising an elongated portion for forming a loop to attach the luggage tag system to a piece of luggage; a removable portion detachable from the main portion; a unique serial number provided on both the main portion and the removable portion; an area of the removable portion comprising a printed coupon or prize indicator; and an adhesive panel covering the area to prevent the area from being seen until the adhesive panel is removed. Any portion of the adhesive panel that is separated from the removable portion of the tag system loses its ability to adhere to the removable portion so that premature removal of the adhesive panel, in whole or in part, is detectable.

Abstract: Systems and methods of artificial snow dispersal are disclosed in which rapid evaporating snow is produced from a fluid. Two lines, an air line and a fluid line, are configured to substantially reach the top of or near the top of the tree. The respective lines may be configured to move air and fluid to the top of the tree. At the top of the tree there may be a nozzle with air escape holes configured around the exterior of the component. An output membrane may attach to the middle of the nozzle. The fluid line emits a small amount of fluid into the fabric. The air that passes into the fabric causes small foam bubbles. The air that passes through the external section of the output membrane may then peel the foam bubbles off thereby creating artificial snow.
