Abstract: A shelf section adapted to fit against a wall section where there are exposed 2×4 wooden posts at spaced intervals. The shelf section has a horizontal platform, part of which is positioned between adjacent 2×4 posts, and the other part extending outwardly from the posts. A pair of mounting flanges attach to the outer surfaces of the 2×4s, and a pair of braces extend between the flanges and the platform. The shelf section is designed to be made from a single metal sheet cut to the appropriate dimensions and configuration, and is arranged so that a plurality of shelf sections can next within one another for storage, transportation, etc.

Abstract: A stud bridging/spacing member (30) generally having at least three longitudinally spaced apart notches (26) for receiving and engaging therein a web of a metal stud. The notches (26) extend at an incline to the longitudinal axis of the elongated member.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for installing backing in walls which include a first, second and third upright U-shaped stud. A first backing member has a first end, a second end, a top, a bottom, a first side and a second side. The first backing member is disposed between the first and second studs. A second backing member has a first end, a second end, a top, a bottom, a first side and a second side. The second backing member is disposed between said second and third studs. A hinge is operatively attached to the first side of the first and second backing members for permitting the second backing member to pivot with respect the first backing member between a first position wherein the first side of each of the first and second backing members are substantially in the same plane and a second position whereby the first and second backing members are not in the same plane. This permits the first backing member to be placed between a first and second adjacent vertical stud.

Abstract: A trash receptacle device includes a pair of railings. Each of the railings has an open side such that the open sides are positioned such that they face each other. Each of the railing is mountable to a bottom wall of the glove compartment. A housing has a lower wall, a first side wall, a second side wall, a third side wall and a fourth side wall. The first and second side walls are positioned opposite of each other. Each of the first and second side walls has an elongated slot therein positioned generally adjacent to and extending along the lower wall. A pair of carriages, each of the carriages is slidably mounted on one of the rails. Each of the carriages is removably attached to the housing such that said housing is extendable along said rails.

Abstract: A storage and display unit for prepaid telephone calling cards, collectible cards, and the like which is made, at least in a major part, of a substantially transparent plastic having a reasonable amount of impact resistance to breakage, the unit being combinable with other units to assemble larger units, the unit providing one or more bins holding cards that are for sale, with the cards in view through the transparent portions of the unit, and arranged to have a key-lockable cover to at least deter unauthorized removal of cards. The unit also provides for display of a card's face to indicate the type of card in each card bin. The display can be arranged to be on the front or back of the unit, or both. When on the back, the unit is best oriented so that the display card seen through the transparent unit back is facing customers, and the locked cover is facing the clerk or other salesperson who has a key and is authorized to remove cards for sale.

Abstract: A track assembly, adapted to be mounted in a housing, having first and second rail members aligned with one another and allowed limited relative longitudinal movement with respect to the other. The joined first and second rail members have a mounting bracket attached to distal ends of the rail members. A spring, positioned between the rail members, provides a force extending the distance between the distal ends of the rail members. A locking mechanism interacts with the rail members and has a locked position resisting inward movement of the distal ends. The method of installing the track assembly in a rack is accomplished by compressing the track assembly to reduce its overall length prior to positioning it between opposing rack members. The track assembly is released to securely engage the opposing rack members and locked in position.

Abstract: The key organizer has a housing with a first section and a second section which are pivotally connected. First and second drums are rotatably mounted on axles within a cavity of the housing. A first belt is engaged with the first and second drums and has a plurality of suspension points for hanging articles thereon. A drive mechanism is connected to one of the drums for rotating one of the drums to cause rotation of the belt. A switching device is connected to the drive mechanism for selectively continuously activating the drive mechanism. Third and fourth drums are mounted onto the axles in spaced relation to the first and second drums. A second belt engages these drums. The drive mechanism has a gear train with a drive gear and additional gears which matingly engage the drive gear. A locking mechanism locks the first and second sections together. A light can be mounted onto one of the first and second sections for illuminating the housing cavity.

Abstract: A foldable desk includes a top and a first leg and a second leg are respectively and pivotally connected to an underside of the top. Two rollers are connected to the underside of the top and one of the first leg and the second leg has two rollers connected thereto. The two legs can be pivoted parallel to the top and the rollers on the top and one of the two legs may roll on the ground.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a shelf adapter for attachment to a conventional towel rack for use in a bathroom, shower stall, or the like. The present invention comprises a pair of parallel generally horizontal members having a female and male telescoping attachment means mounted onto a pair of leg-like mounts which are fastened around the towel rack so as to be removably, fixedly attached to the towel rack. The purpose of the telescoping members is to allow the shelf to be removably, fixedly attached to towels racks of various sizes wherein the telescoping members can be adjusted to fit towel racks of varying lengths. Furthermore, the parallel members have indentions or cutouts disposed therein which form semi-circular cutouts for receiving bottles or bottle necks of various bottled bath condiments which the user might use. The bottles are mounted upside down into the semi-circular cutouts in order to always have the liquid contained in the bottle disposed near the outlet end of the bottle.

Abstract: A control system (10) is built with functional modules expandable system, usually containing electronic circuit boards (24). The packaging of the modules allow a variable number of modules to be vertically stacked together to form a variably sized control system. There is a module having a housing which engages the housing of an abutting module in a physically locked relationship, based upon four locking elements. There are modular units (16, 18, 20) which can be joined vertically by having two interlocking control units in the front of each module and two interlocking control units in the back of each module. Placed above the uppermost intermediate module is a top module (12) for the control unit. Placed below the lowermost intermediate module is a bottom module (14) for the control unit.

Abstract: A computer enclosure (1) includes a chassis (10), a cover (20), a turn support (40) and a locking device (50). The chassis defines a plurality of slots (17) in a pair of opposite sills (16) thereof. The cover has a plurality of catches (21) for the engagement with the chassis at the slots. The turn support is attached to the chassis. The locking device includes a turn cap (60), a cam (52), a washer (54), and a bolt (56). The turn cap and cam are rotatably secured to the cover with the washer and the bolt. Rotation of the turn cap causes corresponding rotation of the cam. When rotated, the cam acts on flanges (46, 48) at an opening (42) of the turn support. The locking device thereby drives the cover to move forward or rearward. The catches of the cover accordingly engage with or disengage from the chassis.

Abstract: A building system includes structural insulated panels having an inner insulating core such as of foam plastic or agri-board and strong thin facings such as of plastic impregnated/reinforced paper on opposed surfaces of the insulating core. The impregnated/reinforced paper provides the panel with high strength and facilitates attaching the panel to dimensional lumber or to similar adjacent panels. The opposed outer facings overlap/extend beyond the insulating core's edges in various configurations so as to provide several different panels, each adapted to satisfy a specific structural purpose. In a first configuration, three edges of the outer facings overlap respective edges of the insulating core for also overlapping a base plate, a top plate and an adjacent stud, panel, window or doorjamb.

Abstract: The drawer structure enables drawer space to be conveniently divided, and includes L-shaped dividers cut to a desired length and placed within the drawer, and formed in any combination of width and length to fill the drawer bottom and providing individual compartments within it. Additional division of the drawer space is provided by transversely extending dividers that are mounted to the upstanding legs of desired ones of the L-shaped dividers. These transversely extending dividers may include a number of snap-off portions to accommodate the width of the space being transversely further divided.

Abstract: The invention is directed to a tray which includes a base having an upwardly opening open-ended groove and a member slidable in the groove for limited right-to-left and left-to-right movements in a horizontal plane. Upper surfaces of the base and the slidable member lie substantially in a common plane such that at least two input devices, such as a keyboard and a mouse, can be supported thereon on substantially the same horizontal plane.

Abstract: An art table having a top surface, two ends, and a lower tray. Each end has two legs. A brace is placed at each end supporting a plurality of holders, where drawing materials can be placed. Wheels are attached to two legs of one end. A paper dispenser is placed under the top surface and holds a roll of paper, so that paper can be fed over the top surface for drawing. The lower tray serves as a brace to provide extra support for the table and also serves as a holding place for extra papers and drawing materials.

Abstract: Device for adjusting a mounting angle of an LCD for a refrigerator including an LCD rotatably mounted on a front surface of a door of a refrigerator by a hinge, and mounting angle adjusting means in rear of the LCD for rotating the LCD to an angle centered on the hinge shaft, thereby permitting the user to watch the most clear image, and improving a freedom of design.

Abstract: A display unit is adapted to be mounted to a holiday tree. The display unit comprises a plurality of table tops, each of the table tops having an outer diameter which generally conforms to the cross sectional outer diameter of the holiday tree at differing heights. In addition, each of the table tops has a cutout where the trunk of a holiday tree extends through. Further, each of the table tops is divided into two portions along a join line extending through the cutout. The table tops are supported by legs extending between adjoining table tops and between the bottommost of the plurality of table tops and the ground.

Abstract: A stabilizing and enclosure system for a series of side-by-side mobile storage units. Each mobile storage unit includes a storage member, such as a cabinet assembly, mounted for extendible and retractable movement relative to a base which is rigidly fixed to a supporting structure such as a floor. A stationary stabilizing member is provided for each storage unit. An extendible and retractable engagement mechanism is interposed between each stabilizing member and the storage member of each storage unit, and is movable along with the storage member upon movement between its extended and retracted positions for maintaining engagement of the storage unit with the stabilizing member, to prevent the storage unit from tipping. In one embodiment, each stabilizing member is in the form of a top panel which overlies one of the storage units. Adjacent top panels are connected together, and each top panel is preferably engaged with the storage unit base by a vertical post.

Abstract: A computer enclosure includes a cage (10), a small drive bracket (30), and a cover (80). The cage includes a front panel (12) and a side panel (14). The front panel is rearwardly stamped to integrally form a vertical plate (122) opposing the side panel. The vertical plate and the side panel each form two locking members (132, 142). The small drive bracket includes two flanges (40, 46), each defining two locking cutouts (42, 48). A horizontal plate (60) is secured on the small drive bracket. The combined small drive bracket and horizontal plate is attached within the cage, with the locking members engaging in the corresponding locking cutouts. The horizontal plate is connected between a bottom portion of the vertical plate and the side panel. The combined vertical plate, side panel and horizontal plate cooperatively constitute a large drive bracket (70). The cover is attached to the cage.

Abstract: An anchorage for a post-tension system including an anchor body having an interior cavity and a generally flat end surface, a tendon extending through the interior cavity of the anchor body, a plurality of wedges in interference-fit relationship between a wall of the interior cavity and a surface of the tendon, a cap member positioned outwardly of the flat end surface, and a ring juxtaposed against the inner surface of the cap member. The ring is physically deformed so as to provide a visual indication of a desired amount of tension applied to the tendon. The ring is received within an annular slot formed in the flat end surface of the anchor body.
