  • Patent number: 6764150
Abstract: A jacket for a lock latch, a lock latch incorporating such a jacket that allows a second slide member of a slide to engage and couple a first slide member of the slide without requiring manual manipulation of the lock latch, and a slide incorporating the same are provided. The jacket is slidably coupled to the lock latch which is coupled to the second slide member and is slidably moveable between a first position and a second position along the lock latch. When the second slide member is retracted relative to the first slide member during coupling of the second slide member to the first slide member, the jacket moves to the first position preventing the lock latch from interlockingly coupling with the first slide member. When the second slide member is extended relative to the first slide member, the jacket moves to a second position allowing for the interlocking coupling of the lock latch with the first slide member.

  • Patent number: 6758025
Abstract: A swimming pool construction is of the type using metal fabricated walls and a plastics liner covering the walls and a rigid excavated pool base. The metal fabricated walls include spaced inner and outer panels defining therebetween a crawl space. The inner panels define the inner surface of the pool. The outer panels engage the surrounding soil. The panels are mounted on support members and rails supported on pairs of piles at spaced positions around the periphery of the pool. The panels are supported initially on bottom rails which are used as forms to cast a concrete layer therebetween. The panels are supported in spaced positions temporarily by a rigid arch form into which is cast a cast concrete arch allowing the rails and the arch form to be removed for re-use. The arch is cast integrally with a concrete floor which sits on supporting panels bridging the rails and resting on flat top supporting surfaces of the concrete piles.

  • Patent number: 6755493
Abstract: A wall mounted cabinet with an improved hinge design having a mounting frame, a cabinet body and a pair of improved hinge apparatus. The hinge apparatus includes a hinge shaft attachable to a side of the mounting frame in such a manner that the hinge shaft is slidably adjusted along the mounted frame side and a hinge plate attached to the cabinet body. The hinge shafts can engage the hinge plates, securing the cabinet body to the mounting frame, or disengage the hinge plate, thereby allowing the removal of the cabinet body from the mounting frame. Fasteners secure the hinge shafts to the side of the mounting frame and maintain the hinge shafts in the desired position. The fasteners can only be removed from the inside of the cabinet, thereby providing a secure enclosure when the cabinet body is attached to the mounting frame and secured.

  • Patent number: 6746091
Abstract: A keyless locking system for a cart includes a lock mechanism with a drive mechanism in the form of a solenoid that is electrically coupled to an integrated circuit and a long lasting power supply. In an unenergized state, an armature of the solenoid prevents operation of the lock mechanism to release drawers supported by the cart. Upon entry of a correct access code via a keypad associated with the integrated circuit, current is supplied to the solenoid to permit operation of the lock mechanism and thereby release the drawers. Advantageously, the lock mechanism only draws from the power supply to temporarily release the solenoid only thereby requiring minimal power and significantly reducing the re-charging, replacement and maintenance requirements for the power supply and the down time for the cart.
