Abstract: The invention relates to a joint cover comprising a base section to be fixed onto a support; a covering section; and one or more intermediate parts designed to receive the covering section by clipping, the intermediate part or parts defining a cavity for receiving a head of a longitudinal tab that the covering section comprises, and comprising on each side of a plane passing through an opening for access to the cavity, at least one external rib able to co-operate, by clipping of opposite shapes, with means of a longitudinal gully of the base section, and at least one internal tab for retaining said head in the intermediate part.

Abstract: In the structure of a vehicle-mounted display system, a pair of racks, that is, a first rack and a second rack, are secured to a sliding chassis which can move forward and backward inside a case. A pair of arms, that is, a first arm and a second arm, are swingably supported by a movable base which rotatably supports a monitor, with a third motor serving as a driving source of the monitor being disposed between the pair of arms. A first gear that engages the first rack and a first motor serving as a driving source of the first gear are installed on the first arm. A second gear which engages the second rack and a second motor serving as a driving source of the second gear are installed on the second arm. When the monitor is drawn in and out, both motors are operated in order to move both gears along their corresponding racks in the same direction, as a result of which the movable base is moved forward and backward.

Abstract: A safety cabinet is disclosed which includes an enclosure having a double-wall construciton and a pair of doors to selectively seal the enclosure. The safety cabinet includes a retaining system for retaining the doors in an open position and a closure system for automatically closing the doors. The safety cabinet also includes a latch system for selectively retaining the doors in a closed position to cover the enclosure. The latch system includes a paddle handle, first and second slide plates, a bullet slam latch, and first and second latch rod assemblies. The safety cabinet can be used to store, for example, flammable liquids, flammable waste, corrosives, pesticides, or combustible waste.

Abstract: An extendable table having a stowable leaf member. The table includes a first table section having a first table surface and a second table section having a second table surface. The second table section is movably coupled to the first table section in a coplanar relationship. A leaf member is further provided and is selectively positionable in an operable position between the first table surface and the second table surface and a stowed position below the table surface. A pivoting assembly couples the leaf member to the first and second table sections and permits the leaf member to rotate about a generally vertical axis and a generally horizontal axis between an operable position and a stowed position. When in this stowed position, the leaf member is generally nestled along the underside of the extendable table out of sight of a guest.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a control apparatus for an automatic-opened umbrella, which includes a button with an inner ring body having two engaging ends. The umbrella is also provided with a runner with engaging edge on both sides. The runner will be securely engaged with the ring body of the control apparatus when the umbrella is closed. So the umbrella can prevent from accidentally opened in use that obtains a utilized effect.

Abstract: A shelf mounting support includes an annular flange portion having a side surface from which projects a cavity defining body portion. The mounting support is adapted to extend through an aperture formed in a liner of an appliance with the body portion of the mounting support being inserted in a respective aperture from an outer insulation zone side of the liner. Each mounting support is held in the aperture through the use of one or more retainer elements in the form of an adhesive element or flexible grip members. Thereafter, the liner is positioned within an outer shell of the appliance and foamed insulation is then injected into the insulation zone and into the internal cavity of the mounting support to anchor the mounting support in position.

Abstract: A waterproof deck (10) is formed with a subfloor (20) having a waterproof sheet (30) covering the subfloor. A T-bar strip (32) has its stem (34) positioned at the edge of the subfloor, on the waterproof sheet. Protrusions (44) in the stem of the T-bar strip maintain the stem a sufficient distance away from the waterproof sheet and the underlying structure to form water passages at the free edge of the deck, which allows any water seepage through the concrete to drain at the free edge of the deck. Flashing at the sides of the deck shield the T-bar strip from direct contact with the adjacent vertical wall surfaces of the building structure.

Abstract: A cabinet locking system includes at least one cabinet having a housing and a plurality of separately openable compartments in the housing. The system has an interlocking device locking the compartments, that device including separate switchable locking devices mounted in the housing and assigned to the compartments as well as an access authorization device into which identification codes corresponding to the compartments may be entered. An electronic processing unit that is connected to the interlocking device and the access authorization device controls the locking devices in accordance with codes entered into the access authorization device so that by entering selected codes into that device, corresponding ones of the compartments are unlocked. The system also includes an interlock responsive to the opening of one unlocked compartment for preventing the opening of any other unlocked compartment.

Each individual accessory is able to be retained in a holding and transport position on the receiving shelf so that, by way of actuation by a release key or by a swivelling movement of an individual accessory, the accessory can be moved from its holding and transport position into a removal position.

Abstract: An improved hurricane and earthquake connector for buildings that has a solid front face as a fire-stop, and lower part for attachment to the top plate or wall sheathing of a wall. Attached to either side of the front face are perpendicular rafter tabs for connection to adjacent roof rafters. Below the rafter tabs are double bends, spacers, and plate tabs for attachment to the top of the top plate. The double bends and spacers allow the front face to completely block the opening between adjacent rafters and the roof and top plate, even on houses having different heel heights between the roof arid top plate. Above the rafter tabs are perpendicular sheathing tabs that can attach to the roof with bolts. Along side the sheathing tabs are gussets, parallel and planer to the rafter webs, for additional strength. Bolts can connect the roof tie from above the roof to adjacent connectors effectively tying down the roof to the rafters, and top plate.
