  • Patent number: 9916314
Abstract: An AND operation is performed for an integrated appearance map of a compression code of character data “”, an integrated appearance map of a compression code of character data “”, and an integrated deletion map for a segment. The AND result is “1100” and it is found that the character data “” and “” are likely to be present in the segments (sg1(1)) and (sg1(2)). Since the segments are specified from the AND result, the AND operations are performed. As a result, the segments are specified and the AND operations are performed. As a result, a file number 3 is specified from the segment (sg0(1)) and a file number 19 is specified from the segment (sg0(5)). Therefore, it is found that both of the character data “” and “” are present in compression files (f3) and (f19).

  • Patent number: 9904728
Abstract: A method and associated system for processing messages. An action to be subsequently performed on the message is identified. In response to the action being identified, one or more word objects are extracted from the message. A first combination of one or more concepts is derived. from the one or more word objects. Each concept of the one or more concepts is associated with at least one object of the one or more word objects. Each word object is an instance of the associated concept. A first interest value associated with the first combination is determined. In response to a determination that the first interest value is at least a specified first threshold value, a concept interest dataset that includes combinations of concepts is updated. The updated concept interest dataset includes the first combination and a cumulative interest value that encompasses the first interest value.

  • Patent number: 9881170
Abstract: A method for authenticating file operations on files and folders stored in a database file system where the database file system can authenticate a client-user request based upon the client-user's database credentials. The database file system has the capability of storing file permissions based on database credentials. Once a client requests a certain file operation, the client's operating system first determines whether the client has sufficient privileges to perform the requested file operation. If the client has privileges, the client operating system forwards the file operation request to the database file system. The database file system then authenticates the client, based on his database credentials, to determine whether or not to perform the requested file operation.

  • Patent number: 9826751
Abstract: Food products and systems and methods for their production involve microfiltration (“MF”) of fluid skim to form a MF retentate, combining the MF retentate with cream and subjecting the combination to ultrafiltration (“UF”) to form a UF retentate. Prior to UF, the composition is formed of non-acidified components. Following UF, the UF retentate is acidified and forms a food product including a high solids content. The solids content may be further increased using evaporation. The resulting cheese or cheese base contains a lower whey protein ratio in a fat:casein:whey protein ratio compared to systems and methods that do not employ MF.
