Abstract: A comprehensive process for the separation, isolation and characterization of a combination of two or more steviol glycosides from extract of Stevia rebaudiana plants and their use in sweetening compositions are disclosed. Combinations of two or more steviol glycosides from Stevia rebaudiana are characterized. The combinations of two or more steviol glycosides can be used as sweetness enhancers, flavor enhancers and sweeteners in foods, beverages, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. A method for isolating combinations of two or more steviol glycosides is also disclosed.

Abstract: Rebaudioside M compositions with improved aqueous solubility and methods for preparing the same are provided herein. The rebaudioside M compositions include (i) disordered crystalline compositions comprising rebaudioside M and rebaudioside D, (ii) spray-dried compositions comprising rebaudioside M, rebaudioside D and steviol glycoside mixtures and/or rebaudioside B and/or NSF-02, (iii) spray-dried compositions comprising rebaudioside M, rebaudioside D and at least one surfactant, polymer, saponin, carbohydrate, polyol, preservative or a combination thereof. Sweetened compositions, such a beverages, containing the rebaudioside M compositions with improved water solubility are also provided herein.

The method may include receiving a query that includes a plurality of predicates and identifying one or more applicable files including database data satisfying at least one of the plurality of predicates. The identifying the one or more applicable files including reading metadata stored in a metadata store that is separate from the database data. The method further includes pruning inapplicable files comprising database data that does not satisfy at least one of the plurality of predicates to create a reduced set of files and reading the reduced set of files to execute the query.

Abstract: A method for automatically constructing and organizing a navigation graph includes receiving input data including a plurality of reports, at least two of the reports including plots, extracting a plurality of variables from the plots, building a knowledge graph from the input, wherein each node of the knowledge graph is associated with an individual one of the plots and an edge is added between two of the nodes sharing at least one of the variables in common, adding an edge weight to each of the edges of the knowledge graph, and organizing the nodes of the knowledge graph for navigation, wherein the knowledge graph is displayed in a user interface.

Abstract: Disclosed are processes for preparing dry or powder dairy compositions having low lactose contents and containing polyphenol compounds. The resultant dry or powder dairy compositions can be used to form reconstituted fluid dairy products, which can have improved organoleptic properties, such as less cooked flavor, sulfur odor, and brown color.

Abstract: Food products and systems and methods for their production involve subjecting pasteurized milk to a concentration process thereby forming liquid concentrated milk, then fermenting the liquid concentrated milk to form a fermented concentrated milk product. The food product is formed without the fermented concentrated milk product and the food product reaching a temperature of 145° F.

The subject invention relates to a process for the production of a milk product enhanced with oligo-saccharides, characterized in that lactase and transglucosidase are used to treat milk raw materials. The subject invention further relates to the milk product of the process of the invention, whose oligo-saccharide content reaches a functional level. Abstract: A natural language interface for databases (NLIDB) component of a database-management system receives a user-submitted natural-language query. The NLIDB parses the query into keywords and maps each keyword onto a corresponding query fragment that identifies a predicate of a non-join condition, or other type of expression, of a structured query. The NLIDB selects an optimal mapping for each keyword with the aid of a Query Fragment Graph (QFG) that counts the number of occurrences of each fragment, and the number of co-occurrences of each pair of fragments, in previously received structured queries. The NLIDB then uses the QFG, optionally augmented by contextual data, to select join paths most likely to be consistent with the semantic intent of the user. The NLIDB generates a structured query that incorporates the mapped query fragments and selected join paths and forwards. The structured the query is then forwarded to downstream DBMS components.

In yet another example, hemp powder is formed by collecting raw cannabis material, drying out the raw cannabis material, and grinding the dried raw cannabis material to obtain a hemp powder.
