Abstract: In some embodiments, the present disclosure relates to a method for augmenting project lists with price information. The method can include: capturing an image using a camera of a user device; identifying a project list within the captured image; extracting, from the captured image, a list of items associated with the project list, the list of items represented as text; retrieving price information for one or more of the list items; and displaying, on the user device, an augmented image comprising the captured image and the price information.

Abstract: A method is provided for determining an order fulfillment by a simplified fulfillment deciding engine or a full fulfillment deciding engine. This method includes several steps, including determining whether the number of nodes considered in making the fulfillment order decision of the current order can be a second number of node decisions, automatically transmitting the current order to one of a simplified fulfillment deciding engine and the full fulfillment deciding engine, the simplified fulfillment deciding engine considering the second number of node decisions in making the fulfillment order decision, wherein the current order is transmitted to the simplified fulfillment deciding engine when the number of node decisions is equal to the second number of node decisions.

Abstract: An augmented reality system that includes an augmented reality user device. The augmented reality user device includes a display for overlaying virtual objects onto objects in a real scene, a camera, and a global position system sensor. The augmented reality user device includes a processor implementing an object recognition engine, a virtual assessment engine, and a virtual overlay engine. The object recognition engine identifies a business from an image. The virtual assessment engine authenticates the user and identifies a user identifier for the user. The virtual assessment engine captures an image, performs object recognition on the image to identify the business, and generates a location identifier identifying the business. The virtual assessment engine sends a token with the user identifier and the location identifier to a remote server, receives geolocation notifications for the user from the server, and presents the geolocation notifications as virtual objects overlaid with a real scene.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable media providing shared online shopping lists and/or carts among users are disclosed. The method includes receiving a primary virtual shopping cart containing related items generated by a first user. A database entry for the primary shopping cart is created and correlated with a shopping cart identifier in response to a user request. The database entry includes one or more keywords associated with the first user of the primary virtual shopping cart. A query is received from a second user, and a list of primary virtual shopping carts is provided to the second user based on relevancy to the query. In response to a request by the second user, the contents of a selected primary virtual shopping cart is duplicated in a secondary virtual shopping cart associated with the second user.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products for an On-Line Transaction Processing (OLTP) system. Payment and merchant information is stored in a database record for each product in a set of products from multiple suppliers. In response to receiving a request to refund products in the set, the OLTP system may determine the merchant, a number of payments, and the amount of each payment for each product being refunded based on the payment and merchant information in the database record, and trigger payments between the supplier, seller, and buyer. In response to detecting an error, the OLTP system may store a status of the refund processing in the database record and queue the transaction for processing by a call center. In response to receiving a restart request, the OLTP system may retrieve the status data from the database record and restart processing of the refund based on the status data.

Abstract: Consistent with some embodiments of the present invention, an online marketplace service includes am embedded marketplace service that enables third-party merchants to quickly and easily leverage the online marketplace to offer marketplace functionality via their respective online retail stores. Each third-party merchant can configure the embedded marketplace service to meet its needs. For instance, with a user interface presenting various configuration options, the third-party merchant can select a variety of seller-specific, item-specific, or product-specific aspects that must be satisfied to have item listings or product listings qualify for presentation via the merchant's online retail store.

Abstract: A system for authenticating recipients of a physical item based on generating a random number and linking the random number to the physical item and the intended recipient. Once the intended recipient is in possession of the physical item and the generated random number, the intended recipient is authorized for the purpose of using/processing the physical item by presenting the random number for recipient authentication. In other specific embodiments of the invention, the physical item is generated with the random number included in place of personal information associated with the provider.

Abstract: In various example embodiments, a system and method for providing price guidance for sellers and buyers are presented. The system receives a present item listing and accesses a set of historical item listings. The system generates a price guidance model for the present item listing and generates a set of prices for the present item based on the price guidance model. The system then causes presentation of the set of prices on a client device.

Abstract: Providing an online store interface that maintains continuity of a user browsing experience by layering a product view on top of referring product views or online-store pages such that a user can navigate back to the referring page without needing the previous page to reload, and re-navigate to the point the user left off. Providing the ability for an item preview to continue even when a user navigates the online store interface away from the preview page further preserves browsing continuity. The present technology also provides a mechanism for allowing users to specify favorite categories and have them listed as tabs in the user interface when the online store is browsed with an appropriate device.

Abstract: In various example embodiments, a system and method for smart recurrent orders are presented. An inventory indicator corresponding to an inventory level of a first item may be received. An order schedule for the first item may be identified. An adjustment to the order schedule based on the inventory indicator may be determined. The adjustment to the order schedule for the first item may be facilitated.

Abstract: A personalized webpage gifting system includes a server in communication with a computing device having a processor to execute an application. Upon execution, the application generates generate a graphical user interface (GUI) to receive recipient information from each of a plurality of participants in which the recipient information user-supplied content associated with a recipient from each of a plurality of participants, and a monetary amount to be contributed towards purchase of a gift for the recipient. The application then combines the user-supplied content of each participant to form a personalized content structure, wherein the application is further executable to facilitate transmission of the gift and the personalized content structure to the recipient.

Abstract: A personalized webpage gifting system is provided that includes a server that generates a graphical user interface (GUI) on a computing device for receiving recipient information associated with a recipient and one or more participants from a host. Using this information, the server creates a personal uniform resource locator (URL) based upon at least a portion of the recipient information, and generates a personalized webpage addressed by said personal uniform resource locator, the personalized webpage comprising personalized content for the recipient received from the host and the one or more participants.

Abstract: A method for having a mobile price transaction system including comparisons. The system obtains information about prices and transactions involving products and services in real time over a wireless link. The actions include making a price comparison inquiry to a central server for the product, service, or price information. The inquiry is formatted in the central server for transmission to sources of the information such as vendors or their web sites. After receiving a response from the sources, the response is suitably formatted and is displayed on the mobile unit. The information will often be available locally on the central server, but the present invention includes commanding remote sources to provide an action such as a response, including a response at a desired time or for desired conditions.

Abstract: A group video generating system includes an application that is executed on each of multiple computing devices to generate a graphical user interface (GUI) that receives from each of a plurality of participants, a video segment including content directed toward a recipient. The application combines the video segment from each participant to form a group video, and transmits the group video to the recipient.

Abstract: An order processing system operates in conjunction with external systems to process orders received by an online shopping system. The order processing system maintains execution references that indicate that an external system is performing an action with respect to an item in an order. Each execution reference may store data defining the state of the corresponding execution. The external systems may update the stored state according to a state machine, which may be an acyclic directed graph. The order processing system also maintains an execution registry including data specifying the actions performed by external systems that may not be performed in combination. When a request is received to start an action with respect to an item in an order, the order processing system uses the execution references associated with the item and the execution registry to determine if the request may be granted.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method and system are described for ordering items within a zone of a physical location. An example method may include wirelessly receiving at a server via a computer network a unique identifier associated with a physical ordering device, the physical ordering device being remotely located from the server, retrieving, at the server from an information source, item information describing an item configured to be associated with the unique identifier of the physical ordering device, retrieving, at the server from the information source, shipping data including a physical location uniquely associated with the physical ordering device, and generating at the server a purchase request for re-ordering the item. The method may further include processing at the server the purchase request, and authorizing at the server shipment of the item to the physical location associated with the physical ordering device responsive to the processing of the purchase request.

Abstract: Disclosed are a system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program, and a computer-implemented method for digital inventories. An application interface module receives a request message from a user device at a physical store location linked to an online marketplace. The request message indicates a request to determine availability of a target item at the physical store location. The user device is linked to a user. In response to the request message, a database management module accesses inventory data of the online marketplace. An inventory engine determines whether the target item is available at the physical store location. Based on a determination that the target item is not available at the target store, a graphics processing module generates a digital representation of the user and the target item for display within a user interface rendered on the user device.

Abstract: A system selects a hearing device from several different available hearing devices in response to screening a consumer by providing a plurality of questions regarding the consumer's hearing that each require a subjective response. The questions can include questions relating to hearing difficulty during one-on-one conversations, hearing difficulty during conversations with women and/or children, hearing difficulty during conversations in restaurants and/or meetings, and presence of stress and/or agitating sounds. The recommended hearing device is automatically selected for the consumer based at least in part on the subjective responses. The recommended hearing device provides enhancement of high frequencies if the responses indicate difficulty hearing women and/or children, provides reduction of low frequencies if the responses indicate difficulty hearing in restaurants and/or meetings, and provides phase cancellation if the responses indicate presence of stress and/or agitating sounds.

Abstract: The AUTOMOBILE MOBILE-INTERACTION PLATFORM APPARATUSES, METHODS AND SYSTEMS (“AMIP”) The AMIP transforms cloud-based wallet and automobile settings into transaction and automobile outputs. In some embodiments, a user may request to connect an electronic wallet account to an automobile interface. Once the user's credentials have been authenticated, the automobile interface may request and receive from a remote server automobile-related and payment-method-related settings. The automobile interface may then configure its settings according to the received information.

Abstract: Systems and methods for generating location-based retail pricing options are discussed herein. In an example, a method for generating location-based retail pricing options includes receiving, over a network from a user, a pricing request. The pricing request includes information identifying the user, a merchant, and an intended purchase. In this example, the method further includes determining a pricing option associated with the merchant and the intended purchase, and transmitting the pricing option to the user. The method still further includes processing a purchase transaction, associated with the user, for the intended purchase based on the pricing option.
