Abstract: A method comprising receiving different types of crowd-sourced information, the different types of crowd-sourced information relating to a physical store that a plurality of electronic devices have visited. The method further comprises determining a plurality of products available in the physical store based on the different types of crowd-sourced information, and correlating the different types of crowd-sourced information to determine at least one product location of at least one product of the plurality of products available. Each product location of each product identifies a location of the product within the physical store.

Abstract: Systems and methods of directed item consumption recommendations are disclosed which include generating, with a server, empirical transition matrix data that includes row data for a first item and column data for a second item, and an entry in the empirical transition matrix data for a number of users that acquire the second item after the first item, generating, with the server, metadata transition matrix data by partitioning items for each item metadata type, setting a uniform transition probability for all items in the partition, and summing the uniform transition probabilities across all metadata types, generating, with the server, transition probability matrix data by multiplying the metadata transition matrix data with a weight parameter, adding the result to the empirical transition matrix data, and normalizing each row, and providing item recommendations to a user computing device communicatively coupled to the server according to the generated transition probability matrix data.

Abstract: A system for managing business to business communications may include an event generation unit configured to create a first event based on receiving a purchase order from a client. The system may also include an event detection unit in communication with the event generation unit, the event detection unit configured to detect the first event. The system may also include an action unit in communication with the event generation unit. The action unit may be configured to determine a first action to perform based on the detection of the first event, and perform the first action. The event generation unit may be further configured to create a second event based on the performance of the first action.

Abstract: A system of routing a purchase order may include a purchase order identification unit configured to identifying a purchase order format associated with a client. The system may also include a routing control unit. The routing control unit may be configured to determine purchase order data based on the purchase order and the purchase order format. The routing control unit may be configured to generate a processed purchase order based on the purchase order data. The routing control unit may be configured to supplement the processed purchase order with additional purchase order data associated with the client. The routing control unit may be configured to apply purchase order security. The routing control unit may be configured to communicate, to a vendor, the processed purchase order.

Abstract: A system and method for identifying customers with ordered items at a retail enterprise may associate in a database each of a plurality of departments within a brick-and-mortar outlet with a different identification code, and also one of a plurality of customer codes identifying a customer with an order code identifying an order placed by the customer for an item to be delivered thereto by one of the departments. In response to a wirelessly received identification code and customer code, a display monitor at one of the plurality of departments is controlled to display a notification message if the received identification code matches the identification code associated with the one of the departments and the received customer code matches the customer code associated in the database with the order code. The notification message may include information relating to at least one of the customer and the order.

Abstract: Various examples of methods and systems for combining online order with additional purchase during pickup of the online order are described. In one implementation, a method may receive a first order to purchase at least a first item from a user via a first channel. The method may also receive a second order to purchase at least a second item from the user via a second channel different from the first channel. The method may further process the first order and the second order in a single transaction.

Abstract: A client viewer computing system may be configured to scan a plurality of business application computing systems that correspond to products and/or services provided by a business organization. The client view computing system may receive a customer identifier from an employee and, in response to the customer identifier, obtain information corresponding to the customer's interactions with the plurality of products and/or services offered by the business organization. Based on one or more customer attributes, the client viewer computing system may identify one or more products and/or services the customer for which the customer qualifies and display the identified opportunities on a customer centric viewer user interface.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable media providing shared online shopping lists and/or carts among users are disclosed. The method includes receiving a primary virtual shopping cart containing related items generated by a first user. A database entry for the primary shopping cart is created and correlated with a shopping cart identifier in response to a user request. The database entry includes one or more keywords associated with the first user of the primary virtual shopping cart. A query is received from a second user, and a list of primary virtual shopping carts is provided to the second user based on relevancy to the query. In response to a request by the second user, the contents of a selected primary virtual shopping cart is duplicated in a secondary virtual shopping cart associated with the second user.

Abstract: A method to facilitate invoicing for transactions established utilizing a network-based transaction system includes supporting establishment of transactions between a plurality of entities in the network-based transaction system, and identifying as part of an invoice generation process, a plurality of transactions to which a first entity is a party. The method further includes identifying first and second transactions from the plurality of transactions that satisfy combinable criteria, and generating an invoice for at least the first and second transactions that satisfy the combinable criteria. The method can also be implemented in a system and on a machine-readable medium.

Abstract: A physical item with an affixed identification tag may be distributed to a user of a mobile computing device with an included reader device capable of reading an identifier stored on the identification tag. An association between the physical item and the identifier may be stored. When the mobile computing device is brought into proximity with the tagged physical item, a further association between user and identifier may be stored. The user's mobile computing device may be caused to display a digital application store user interface customized based on associations between the identifier, the physical item, and the user.

Abstract: A system is configured to receive a network resource request from a user device configured with a browsing application, wherein the request includes identification data associated with the user device. The system transmits, to a network resource provider, a request for the network resource, wherein the request transmitted to the network resource provider excludes identification data included in the request received from the user device. The system receives from the network resource provider a response, including a document comprising a field configured to receive payment information for an item purchase. The system receives from the browsing application an indication that an anonymous payment instrument, associated with a first entity different than the user, is to be used to purchase a first item at a first price. The system causes information regarding the anonymous payment instrument to be provided to the network resource provider.

Abstract: An online application store may include an interface that provides collections to users of the application store. In one implementation, a webpage may be provided that presents, to a user of the online application store, a number of applications that are available, to the client, as applications for installation. The webpage may provide a visual interface that includes a first section that includes graphical representations of at least some of the applications; and a second section that provides an identification of one or more collections that each correspond to a subset of the applications.

Abstract: A system selects a recommended PSAP from several different available PSAP by screening a consumer by providing a plurality of questions regarding the consumer's hearing that each require a subjective response and receiving the subjective responses from the consumer. The questions can include questions relating to hearing difficulty during one-on-one conversations, hearing difficulty during conversations with women and/or children, hearing difficulty during conversations in restaurants and/or meetings, and presence of stress and/or agitating sounds. The recommended PSAP is automatically selected for the consumer based at least in part on the subjective responses. The recommended PSAP provides enhancement of high frequencies if the responses indicate difficulty hearing women and/or children, provides reduction of low frequencies if the responses indicate difficulty hearing in restaurants and/or meetings, and provides phase cancellation if the responses indicate presence of stress and/or agitating sounds.

Abstract: A clothing image processing device acquires an image of a first item, the first item being placed in a projection direction of a projection device and worn on one of a plurality of parts of a human body; measures a position of a specific portion of the first item in the acquired image; determines a position of a second item based on the measured position of the specific portion and on a specific portion of the second item; adjusts, based on a position of a projection target onto which the projection device projects and the position of the second item, a size and position of an image of the second item that is to be projected onto the projection target; and controls the projection device so that the adjusted image of the second item is projected.

Abstract: In some embodiments, apparatuses and methods are provided herein useful for monitoring a facility, such as the safety, security, and status of individuals and items within the facility. In one illustrative approach, a retail facility maintains information regarding product location, in part, from correlating a shopper's cart path and their purchased items with those of other shoppers. In some approaches, a cart path may be determined, in part, by depositing compounds on a floor surface, provide shopping carts configured to pick up the compounds deposited on the floor of the retail facility, and capture, via a compound detector, the compounds deposited on the cart wheels of a particular shopping cart during a customer checkout at a point of sale terminal, and generate an estimated cart path for the particular one of the plurality of shopping carts.

Abstract: Product replenishment systems which identify to vendors need for replenishment product, and effect shipment of such product. Product containers have computer readable labels which identify particular product to those containers. When a container is empty, the container is tossed into a chute. An antenna subassembly, including antenna, antenna tuner, and signal reader, reads the label as the container passes through the chute. The container label can alternatively be read by otherwise moving the label across the field of a suitable antenna, or by reading such label using a bar code reader. The antenna, or bar code reader, communicates label information to a local computer. The local computer communicates, to a separate host computer, certain of the label information. The host computer collects information from one or more local computers and communicates with respective vendor computers which receive the information, and process and instruct shipment orders related to the needed product.

In response to a user selecting via a graphical user interface input a product that is offered in a graphic display device view of an electronic commerce web site, aspects search a social network service for pictures that visually depict social network connections of the user in association with the selected product. Aspects thus refresh the graphic display device to display an information page of the electronic commerce web site that provides information regarding the selected product, and an inset picture that depicts a social network connection of the user in association with the selected product, wherein the inset picture is returned in satisfaction of the searching of the social network connections of the user.
