Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for executing an online auction of diverse online advertisements. One method includes receiving inventory information for serving ads on a publisher web page, the inventory information including at least a first ad configuration different from a second ad configuration, each of the first and second ad configurations defining one or both of an ad size and an ad attribute; receiving or generating a plurality of ad bids to serve ads in the first ad configuration and to serve ads in the second ad configuration; and awarding impressions to one or both of the bids to serve ads in the first ad configuration and the second ad configuration, in a proportion based at least in part on a revenue amount associated with the bids to serve ads in the first ad configuration and bids to serve ads in the second ad configuration.

Abstract: An analysis system may receive a request to determine a cause of underdelivery for an ad (“query content item”). Properties of the query content item can be processed through a matching model to determine properties of a bid request, thereby generating a bid request. The generated bid request also includes a request for the content server to return a report in response to the bid request regarding ad selection decisions. The bid request may be submitted to the content server, which causes the content server to define a set of candidate content items and select at least one of the candidate content items to submit bids on behalf of in response to the bid request. The content server also provides a report in regarding ad selection decisions. Thus, if the query content item is one of the ads that were not selected, the report may include factors contributing to the query content item not being selected.

Abstract: Methods for creating and updating rules for distribution of an online advertising inventory. The methods can include generating a rule conditions section of a GUI that is configured to display a plurality of parameters of a rule condition of a rule for distribution of an online advertising inventory. Each displayed parameter of the rule condition can be graphically represented by a basic shape (e.g., a hexagon). And, each basic shape of the rule condition can be labeled with an alphanumerical indication of the graphically represented parameter and can also be clustered together in the GUI. The methods can also include generating a rule summary section of the GUI that is configured to display a plurality of rule conditions of a rule. The methods can also include generating a rules list section of the GUI that is configured to display a plurality of rules for distribution of inventory.

Then, the information providing device, in a case where the display target candidate that is not specified among the display target candidates of a same advertiser as that of the specified display target advertisement satisfies a predetermined condition, determines the display target candidate and the display target advertisement as display target advertisements to be displayed in the advertisement display area.

Abstract: A system and method for generating loans is provided. The system and method of the present disclosure are generally designed to encourage previous and current customers of a financial institution to use the services provided by the financial institution as well as attract new customers to the financial institution. The system generally comprises a computing entity, a processor operably connected to said computing entity via a network, a server operably connected to the processor via the network, and a non-transitory computer-readable medium having instructions stored thereon, wherein said instructions include multiple user interfaces. The user interfaces allow customers to research vehicles in which they may buy. The system also provides users with information about vehicle financing as well as providing financial institutions with information they may use to promote their services.

One of these methods includes providing a non-affiliated advertisement to a plurality of users. The method includes receiving indications that a subset of the plurality of users have viewed the non-affiliated advertisement. The method also includes creating a control group for an advertisement from the subset of the plurality of users that received the non-affiliated advertisement.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed configured to identify a location where current or predicted ride requests exceed a threshold within a time period. Driver location information for one or more drivers is used to identify a driver to satisfy the identified current or predicted ride requests at the location that exceed the threshold within the time period. In response to determining that a driver has at least a first likelihood of accepting a ride request at the location within the time period, item content is selected using a history of establishments frequented by the driver. The selected item of content, associated with a token, is provided for presentation on a display to the driver. In response to determining that the identified driver accepted the ride request at the location within the time period, the token is enabled to be utilized by the identified driver at an entity.

Abstract: A method for providing a content using the first screen of a portable communication terminal is provided. The method comprises the steps of: registering a first content as a content of interest; and providing a second content in the first screen displayed on a display unit when the communication terminal is switched from an inactive state to an active state. Here, the second content, which corresponds to a content related to the first content, is determined on the basis of the first content.

Profile information is obtained for the user based on the identity of the user. An interactive game is activated on the AR device. The system may also include a digital promotion server that includes a memory and a processor coupled thereto and configured to determine liked food content on a social media platform for a given user based upon the corresponding social media account. The liked food content may include at least one liked food ingredient. The processor may also be configured to determine a matching recipe including food ingredients and associated preparation instructions. At least one of the food ingredients may include the at least one liked food ingredient. The processor may generate a digital promotion for at least one of the food ingredients of the matching recipe, and communicate the matching recipe and the digital promotion to the corresponding user device of the given user.

Abstract: Techniques of the disclosure are directed to sending and receiving messages that allow for content providers to interact with potential recipients and customers. An information distribution system may receive a first message from a content provider via a first client device that includes targeted content, such as a string of characters, an image, a video, and/or some other form of media. The targeted content may also include tags, such as hashtags, which identify or otherwise associate a particular topic with the user-generated content. Further, the targeted content may include a selectable graphical user interface element that a user reading the content may interact with on a second client device. If the user selects the selectable graphical user interface element, the information distribution system may generate a custom message that may be sent on behalf of the user, which may also include a tag, such as a hashtag.

Abstract: There is provided a system and process of delivering online media content files to websites which are not capable of being blocked. The system and process provides a publisher with a sub-domain name that is pointed to an IP provided by an ad server and ask publisher to update his DNS records. Concurrently, the system delivers the user a script on the newly suggested sub domain that publisher inserts in HEAD tag of web pages where it is determined that the unblockable ads are to be displayed.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for providing automatic adjustment to commission fees on a network-based marketplace. Consistent with some embodiments, a purchase offer for an item for sale is received via a user interface of a client device, the purchase offer including an offer price. Upon determining that the offer price is below a listed price, a commission fee reduction value is computed based on a difference between the listed price and the offer price. A reduced commission fee is determined based on the commission fee reduction value and a standard commission fee. Upon determining that the reduced commission fee satisfies a condition defined by a set of rules, a transaction for the sale of the item is automatically completed based on the reduced commission fee, the completing of the transaction comprising reducing the listed price by the commission fee reduction value.

In general, data signals can be transmitted between a payment terminal configured to receive payment information from a customer and a point of sale (POS) configured to authorize the customer's payment and provide various commands, e.g., instructions, to the payment terminal. A payment terminal can include a translator configured to translate commands transmitted from the POS to the payment terminal so the payment terminal carries out the type of command requested by the POS but executes in a way that accounts for payment terminal functionality unknown to the POS.

Abstract: A media management system that generates expected audience of a promo schedule for each promotional campaign planned for an upcoming time-frame, acquires historical data for the promotional campaigns for the time-frame, and generates a plurality of values associated with a promotion impact measure for each of the promotional campaigns based on the acquired historical data and the expected audience. Inventory unit needs are determined for each of the promotional campaigns that corresponds to a promotion inventory utilization of a plurality of inventory utilization types, based on at least the generated plurality of values. The determined inventory units for each of the promotional campaigns are utilized to dynamically allocate inventory from a defined amount of inventory units among each inventory utilization types to meet a plurality of defined parameters for the defined amount of inventory units for one or more specified durations until an end of the upcoming time-frame.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for identifying a subset of interest from a general population and for monitoring a database of daily activity logs associated with the general population in order to identify database entries indicative of an occurrence of a pre-defined trigger event that is associated with a member of the subset of interest. In particular, systems and methods are described that allow a massive database of daily activity logs to be monitored to identify trigger events that have occurred within the past twenty-four hours or other very recent time period. Embodiments are described that may be advantageously used by a provider of credit-related products and/or services who wishes to accurately target prospective customers, identified by the system, based on occurrence of a trigger event, as being in a decision-making phase of credit shopping, for purposes of making a timely and targeted offering relevant to the customers' current activities.

A redemption response including an updated rewards amount may be received from the issuer and include a difference between the rewards amount and the rewards amount applied toward the transaction.
