  • Patent number: 7701093
Abstract: When a pitch between centers of two adjacent magnetic pole portions disposed on an armature is defined as ?s, the length W of permanent magnets disposed in the middle is equal to the pitch ?s (W=?s). The length of each of the two end permanent magnets respectively disposed at either end of a permanent magnet magnetic pole row is denoted by W1. A ratio w1/W of the length W1 to the length W is defined as 0.43<W1/W<0.49. With this definition, cogging torque of a linear motor may sufficiently be reduced.

  • Patent number: 7696667
Abstract: A stator of an electric motor is formed by a plurality of split stators that are divided in a circumferential direction of the cylindrical stator. Each split stator comprises a yoke portion that is divided in the circumferential direction, a tooth portion that extends from the yoke portion a in a radial direction, and a coil wound on the tooth portion. The coil is pressed into the coil-housing portion, defined by the yoke portion and the tooth portion, by a press die. While the coil is pressed into the coil-housing portion by the press die, the coil may be covered by, for example, being integrated with a resin. Thus, the risk of damaging the coating of the coil is significantly reduced, the coil density is improved, and good circularity of the stator is ensured.

  • Patent number: 7696659
Abstract: An alternator for a vehicle has a rotor with a field wiring, a stator with a three-phase stator wiring, a regulator, and a rectifier. The regulator and rectifier are disposed away from each other with the rotor between. An alternating current is generated in the stator wiring in response to a rotation of the rotor and a field current received in the field wiring. The rectifier converts the alternating current into a direct current and outputs the direct current as an electrical energy generated in the alternator. The regulator regulates a value of the filed current to control the electrical energy. The rectifier acts as a heat generating member, but heat generated in the rectifier is hardly transmitted to the regulator disposed away from the rectifier.

  • Patent number: 7696664
Abstract: A magnetic path closed electric generator includes a base (9), a housing (8), a stator (3), a rotator (5), a rotation shaft (7) and a transmission wheel. A magnetic permeability neck (12) is fixed on the stator; a coil winding (2) on the stator is fixed on the magnetic permeability bracket (1) and hitches outside a magnetic permeability neck; a low magnetic permeability medium (13) is disposed between the magnetic permeability bracket and the magnetic permeability neck. When the rotator rotates, a magnetic body (4) rotates along with it. The magnetic permeability neck is inducted to permeate magnetic and generate electric current with change of flux passing through the coil winding. A magnetic field generated by the electric current in the coil winding passes through the magnetic permeability bracket. The coil winding on the stator and the magnetic body on the rotator form a magnetic line closed loop in their own magnetic field. There is only small magnetic attracting force between the rotator and the stator.

  • Patent number: 7692344
Abstract: In a motor having a pawl-shaped magnetic pole, if a coil is wound like a ring shape so as to be formed, one leader line can be generally drawn out to an external portion from a position close to an outer periphery of a stator, however, the other leader line is drawn out to the external portion from an inner periphery of the stator. Accordingly, the leader line occupies a part of the inner space formed by the stator core, so that there is generated a problem that a space factor of the coil is reduced. Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to improve the space factor of the coil. In order to achieve the object mentioned above, a space passing wirings of a plurality of coils therethrough is provided in a part of the pawl-shaped magnetic pole of the stator core of the stator having the pawl-shaped magnetic pole.
