    Abstract: A stator coil, being a rectangular coil, is wound on a salient pole, striding across a plurality of slots, while being inserted sequentially through the inlet of a predetermined slot of the stator core. The stator coil comprises two slot inserts and to be inserted into the slot; two coil ends and located outside the end of the slot; and four twist sections arranged between the slot inserts and coil ends, processed by twisting. In the twist sections, twisting is applied to ensure that the surface of the rectangular coil in the second coil end will be opposite to the surface of the rectangular coil in the first coil end. The start of winding of the rectangular coil and the end of winding of the same coil are located on the same surface. Thereby, a rotating electrical machine with the large internal dimensions without increasing the external dimensions is achieved.

The springs position the magnet so that the induction coil surrounds one end of the magnet where the flux density is greatest. In addition, the magnetic flux emerging from that end of the magnet is enhanced by a disk of magnetic material having high permeability and high flux density. In another embodiment, the magnetic field source comprises two dipole magnets arranged in opposing flux relationship with a thin layer of high flux density, high magnetic permeability material located in a gap between the magnets.

The thin hybrid magnetized ring magnet of the present invention is structured of, in a ring magnet comprised of a plurality of magnetic poles, a radially magnetized main pole and an interface for which the interface of the adjoining main pole is polar anisotropic. When the thin hybrid magnetized ring magnet structured in this manner is applied to a brushless motor, in the case of radial magnetizing, the abrupt change in magnetic flux of the interface between the magnetic poles becomes smooth and cogging torque is greatly reduced due to polar anisotropic magnetization of the interface.

A centering cylinder (18) molded to the bearing retainer ring centers the generator housing and thus the stator (3) and rotor (4) while a spacer ring (20) and/or an adjustable spacer ring (10) ensure the exact axial positioning of the rotor or bearing retainer ring. The generator of this design is safe to operate and has a long service life.
